provides study material and support to help its customers pass college equivalency examinations. TCN has assisted many customers in obtaining their degrees at the Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s level
TCN had a 5-Day Cancellation Policy*** *** did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel her contract
*** *** signed her contract with TCN on September 22, for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Associate of Science Degree in nursing offered by Excelsior College*.
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind *** *** that her TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCN Resource Center. Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals. The Academic Guidance Planner offers resources to help TCN customers determine what type of learner they are and the best way for them to study, organize their studies, and have a point of reference for their degree program progressionThe TCN Resource Center is a learning environment that allows TCN customers to access their Comprehensive Learning Module program in an online, interactive format. TCN also offers customers online practice testing and the ability to take examinations in the comfort of your home

*** *** bought his program from The College Network, Inc(“TCN”) on October 30, and participated in a Guidance Call on November 06, which is designed to review program benefits and aspects*** *** at no time during his Guidance Call mentioned his desire to cancelOn January 27, 2015, *** *** called TCN to request cancellation which is obviously way past the 5-Day allowable cancellation period

However, as a good corporate citizen TCN is willing to grant *** *** request for cancellation under the following conditions
TCN requests that *** *** execute TCN’s Release and Settlement Agreement
TCN will pay off and close *** *** loan in the approximate amount of $9,with *** Capital Inc
Monies retained by TCN will be treated as an “Educational Credit” which can be utilized by *** *** at any time in the future to complete her non Certificate TCN educational program using TCN materials
Please have *** *** call me at her convenience and I will send her TCN’s Release and Settlement Agreement for her review and signature.

This is a second complaintLast complaint made 05/06/but was resolvedI am having the same exact issue as the 05/0/complaintI am enrolled in TCN RN programPer my contract agreement, I pay TCN and monthly fee to finance my education in which I have since paid in full as of November Per my contract financial agreement, when I am ready to take a final exam on a subject I contact TCN and request paymentI requested payment on 10/14/I was told it would take weeks for paymentMade email contact on 12/27/and received a reply on 12/29/stating as follows "Ms***, Thank you for contacting Academic SupportWe apologize for the delay in processing your exam fee request for Reproductive HealthWe have notified Accounting of your inquiry in order to escalate your requestChecks are being sent to customers daily, however a large influx of requests has lead to increased processing timesPlease accept our sincerest apologies and we are working toward returning to our processing times as fast as possibleYou will receive an automated email once your check has been placed in the mailYour continued patience is appreciatedSincerely, Academic Support" I made a second request 1/14/by online chat with academic advisors and received the same excuseThese last two contacts have not given my any time frame of when I will be reimbursedI have paid my contract in full with TCNI have also submitted another for a payment for my last final test on 01/14/TCN owes me for two tests at $each for a total of $
Payment for the overdue delivery of check that I should have received on or before 01/14/for the 10/14/payment request of $I am sure that I will have to file another complaint in months for the other final payment of $requested on 01/14/

In July I started taking prerequisite courses for my bachelor's program through The College Network (TCN)I financed the entire program including my exam fees through a financial assistance program offered/endorsed by TCN and paid this loan per the terms of the loan in a timely manner and without any late payments at allI submitted a request for an exam check refund for my American History II exam for $on October 3rd, I have never received this checkOver the last years I have made multiple attempts to collect this refund by calling and/or emailing TCN without any successMy emails have gone completely ignored, and the only personal representative I have been able to contact is "Career Learning & Academic Support Services" that partners with TCN whom multiple representatives have continuously claimed over and over again over the past years that my check is "being processed" and have also claimed that they are only a partnering company and they have no other

This company provides supplemental educational material for my college, and condenses the materials and provides financing for the educational materials and testing feesThe cost of this service to me is over $When I am ready to test, I notify them and in theory they are supposed to send me a check for the testing feesHowever, on one occasion I waited months for the check for the test fees to be mailed to me over months, and currently have waited for another check since February 2ndI still have not received the $test fees which I had to pay out of pocketEvery month this company withdraws $from my checking account for their feesIt was only after I threatened to file a complaint with your office that they said my check was being processedI still have no received the checkThis service was supposed to make it less of a financial burden to come up with $ for my test fees, because some of those can run $400+ per test through the online college that I am attending to earn my nursing degreeInstead I am having to pay double, paying their faulty service and having to pay again for the test fees to further my educationThis company is currently under litigation by the NY AG for this type of business practiceThe link to this is here http://www*** I would really like to have this company honour their contract, like I have and send the test fees in a timely fashionBarring that I would like to have my contract with them ended and no longer have to pay $a month for a service I am not receiving. I thought the were an actual collegeThey are a prep program and a crappy one at thatThey won't give me my money back and are horrible at helpI would never recommend anyone use them

I have been paying since to a finance company who paid college network in full for educational purposes and have never received appropriate payment for the exams in order to begin my college courses for the program I was promised to be enrolled inI have never received any response for my financial complaints regarding test reimbursement by phone, email or faxI have attempted multiple times to contact the financial department via email with no return response and no live person is available to discuss payment issues

For almost one year now, I have been waiting for a reimbursement check for testing fees associated with an online LPN-BSN program that I paid for with The College Network in At the time of the contract, I was told by the company contact, Brent S***, that by paying the testing fees up front, I would "lock in" the pricing for the exam fees as they were set on 2/26/when the original contract was establishedBy doing so, when a test was taken and successfully passed, I could submit a faxed request for reimbursement of the feesYes, you read that rightI had to pay the testing center first, pass the test, then submit the requestI had already "loaned" the testing fee money to TCN but had to pay for the test in advance, which means I paid twice for servicesThe original contract states, "I must provide TCN with a receipt showing that I used the prior exam fee to take the appropriate exam and a copy of the exam scoreI understand that I must be a customer of TCN for at least

I financed all fees related to obtaining credits towards a college degree including testing fees that were to be mailed to me when requested after completion of online course to pay testing centerI have been paying on said loan and requested my first exam fee in October (possibly November) I was told it would be sentAfter waiting I called back and was told their financial department was "behind"Since then I have called multiple times (now there is a message when you call to e-mail any concerns) and emailed requesting these funds and have received no return response
Over year...no response, no funds, no test, no credit for the exam and I am still paying almost $a month
