read your post, My name is Veronica and our stories are so similar, I too signed up, tried to call and cancel a week later , was told it was a three day cancellation deadline I never received a statement but stopped making payments, never used any of their services at all, and five years later I was sued without my knowledge (not properly served ), recieved a letter in May stating a judgement had been won against me , then second letter from attorney about garnishment for 25% of my earnings until 4,is paid, currently fighting this and may possibly have to file bankruptcy as wellI refuse to pay money back that was never used for meNo classes, books, or examsFor, Where, why and who did the pay money to ? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have a signed contract that states the testing fee's were financed. The College Network, by it's own admission of its policies, is to refund all testing fees with in weeks of submitting the request. My request was submitted on Feb11, 2015. I have still have not received the refund. In addition to paying the financing interest, I now owe interest on my personal credit card which I had to use to pay the testing fee. Numerous calls to the service line have yielded no resolution. They have no one to resolve disputesNowhere in the companies reply do they address the fact that they have breached the contract by failing to live up to their terms. Additionally they have no satisfactory means to seek resolution. They have breached the terms of their contract, they have refused to honor it, they have refused to conduct business within legally binding terms. They are in breach of the contract by their failure to act, and they are offering nothing to resolve their error, not even refunding the testing fees owed to me. This is outrageous and egregious. I signed up with the college network March 15, 2013, right after I received my LPN license I was told that The College Network was associated with Excelsior and that they have all the references that I needed to pass test and to get my RN I jumped right into the studies I wanted to get going and get done so I could support my kids and myself When I got done with the module and seen how much the test were I was shocked I paid for the test and went to a local college and took it The exam was nothing like what I had been studying I called The College Network and they said that they had faith in me that I would do better on the next testI found it hard coming up with the money for the test, so on 6/13/I signed a paper to add an additional onto my loan to cover my test I was told that when I was ready for a test to call, The College Network would send me a check and then I can use that to pay for the test I received checks totaling and still failed th

All that TCN and it's bank, We Florida Financial, can do to me is potentially effect my credit, it will cost much more than you owe me just to show up to face me in court, once. I used a Scholarship and paid the reminder off years agoWhen I found out VA would no longer except the College network/Excelsior program in I asked for a refund on the remaining modules I had purchased and never receivedTo this day this has not been resolved

TCN, I have not reached you online or on the phone this is a prevaricationOther people in my area have the same problem with youI to this day am still unable to get online with you, nor retrieve any class informationThere has never been anyone available for online tutoring during the hours you claim there should be, or any other timeWhenever I tried to get online help during the hours you say you are available I get a notice saying no one was available at that time

I signed a contract with TCN in March of I was financed for the amount of $10,That amount was to pay for the educational materials that they provided and it was also to pay for exam feesPrior to me having signed their contract I was told by their representative that it takes approximately two weeks to receive a check after the request had been madeThe educational material, the quality of which is debatable, was readily available to meHowever, I requested my first check for my exam fee in May of I have contacted them multiple times over the last months and each time was told that it would be arriving shortlyAfter having gone approximately months without having ever received it I requested a refund on the portion allocated to the exam feesI was told by the representative "I don't think we do that"Seeing as the testing material was provided to me as agreed I have no qualms in paying the amount owed for thoseBut, I am requesting the dollar amount for the

I signed up in for them to assist me in getting my RN and pay for a test, in which they were to pay back for in weeks when I called and talked to the support person they stated it was there and should have went out
and I needed to email the correct place so I did and no response
So I ask my lawyer to write a letter and they did not get a response

]I was told upon signing up with the college network that ALL exams would be given online via Webcam at home, there would be no need to travel to take exams I did not find out until I was ready to take my first exam that I would, in fact, have to travel And days is not nearly enough time to know if this program is suitable for anyone I would like my money back and TCN can have their "modules" backI do not have money to wasteI think it is a shame that these sales people go in to people's homes claiming to be affiliated with a school when they are really only selling reading material It is very misleading!

This is not a resolution to my complaintI have tried on numerous occasions to follow through with the program and request a testing fee which I am currently still waiting onIt has been months since my first request for my testing exam fee and this is not helping me extend my educationI read in your statement that The college Network material has a lifetime guarantee for testing, but why should I have to wait a lifetime if I am asking for my testing fee check nowWhen the recruiter came to speak with me, I was not informed that I would have to wait all of this time to take a test or pay out of pocket and just wait until you all are ready to reimburse meIf that was the case then I would have never signed up with the college network to start with and wouldn't have paid out thousands of dollars that I don't have to just give away
I have since enrolled in a local college to continue my education to become an RN and would just like to be released from my contract and my loan since I am continually paying this monthly and am unable to make any use of it

The College Network representative I met with informed me that before graduating from my selected nursing program, I would need to complete learning modules through them One of the modules, microbiology, I had already completed as a college course as part of my RN program He informed me that it wouldn't transfer because it was a different level, and that I would need to take the module so it will transfer to the MSN program I enrolled in the modules, and began classes at Regis University concurrently After speaking with my academic adviser, I was informed that all of the classes I would need to graduate were available through Regis University, and that my microbiology class would transfer I have contacted The College Network about feeling swindled by their representative, but they have been less than helpful on numerous occasions
