Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]

It has now been another 3-4 weeks, following College Network saying that they would make payment to me "soon," with no resolution or check from College Network.

If you could please advise them that they need to follow through!

Again, I requested a test fee in January and with the Revdex.com a couple months ago and have yet to receive compensation.

VERY IRRITATED!  They are still getting their monthly payments and I have not received the TWO test fee worth of checks $700+ that was promised!  I am due to pay my current college in August for classes.  I would hope my check would be in my possession by then!

Thank you,
 [redacted]

Regarding complaint #[redacted] I apologize, I was under the impression after the previous email that the issue was final and there would be no other action. At this time I would like to say that I am in no way pleased with the response sent by The College Network. The cancellation policy of 3 days is a ridiculous defense, who has an issue within three days of signing a contract?. That is not even adequate time to receive any “study material” to review. More importantly, their policy for receiving check requests to pay for exams is supposed to be 2 to 3 weeks, I have been waiting since June 2, 2014 and we are now on November. I call every week and get the same inadequate response, “it is still in processing and I will let our accounting department know”. This is not acceptable. In response to their defense that the study materials are updated, I would suggest that they attempt to take an exam using only the study material that they offer. I assure you they would not pass. I have filed complaints with the Texas Attorney General as well as the Indiana Attorney General’s office regarding this scam company. I am asking for the return of the money that is owed to me for all remaining exams. I appreciate your assistance with this matter.
Regards,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The reason I filed this complaint is that the answer I just received is the answer TCN has given me every time I have spoken with them. Then I filed the first complaint and TCN gave a date the check would be sent by and we are now almost a month past the date TCN told the Revdex.com. So I refiled and TCN has given and even less acceptable answer.  I have no confidence that a check will be forthcoming. I would prefer not to close the complaint until I have a check in hand. Thank you for you help!Regards,[redacted]

I am currently in the LPN to RN program with The College Network/Excelsior. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this school to anyone. I have had nothing but problems with getting my reimbursement checks sent to me and there is absolutely NO COMMUNICATION. I have tried and will keep trying, to get in contact with the accounting department until my money is sent to me. I am taking legal action on them because I have been waiting since December 2014, for my reimbursement check to be mailed to me. I have tried calling, which gets me nowhere since the phone numbers I have been given, and even searched for, just send me to an automated message telling me to email them any "accounting questions" to [email protected]. I have been emailing them since January, every single day, sometimes multiple times a day, with no response. This is completely unacceptable. I am beyond fed up with their lack of responsibility, lack of communication, and lack of help with this matter. They are a joke of an institution, if you can even call them that. People need to be aware of this, and not make the same mistake I have made by trusting them to hold up their end of my schooling and contract. My next step is going to be taking legal action, so I will receive MY MONEY that is in my contract from them.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is not a student learning issue. This is a payment of testing issue. College Network guaranteed a check for tests taken the first time within 2-3 weeks. I have waited a year for the latest test and 6 months for the previous test. Their so called 5 day cancellation policy should not apply when they are clearly not doing what they promised. I shouldn't have to wait years for payment on a simple test after all of the money paid to them. They are delaying my education after making $10,000 off of me. Each time I call them they have told me they have a problem in their check writing department for the past year and a half and have no one for me to talk to. The only person you get is the person that answered the phone and they all say they are in charge. What kind of scam is this? I want my money back. They did not keep and continue not to keep to their guarantee of paying for tests. I cannot study for a test and wait a year for payment to take that test. This is ridiculous. Regards,[redacted]

I had a settlement agreement and they have failed to honor the agreement in a reasonable time frame causing negative credit reporting for myself. I filed a complaint against TCN which your office helped to resolve. A settlement agreement was drawn up, I was told by Bernard [redacted] that all I had to do was sign and return the settlement agreement and they would take care of paying off my loan with We Florida financial. This came about because of failure of TCN to provide me with my funds when I needed them for classes at Excelsior College. I have signed and returned my agreement and TCN has placed a freeze on my payments to the credit union. Now I am being reported the credit bureau as past due. I have called Mr. [redacted] 4 times this week and a total of 6 times regarding this matter with no response. I just want this matter resolved and my credit score not to be effected.
TCN is to payoff the loan with We Florida Financial in the amount of $3500.00. I want this done within 10 days as I have now been reported as past due.
Regards,[redacted]

[redacted] signed her purchase agreement for her Bachelor of Science degree program according to its terms on November 23, 2011.  At the time she signed her purchase agreement, the program that Ms. ** purchased was approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (the “CBRN”). In December, 2012, the CBRN changed its position and determined that its prior approval was erroneous.  TCN is working on solutions to this issue.

TCN believes it has fulfilled its obligations under the contract and that Ms. ** is obligated to fulfill its obligations under the contract, specifically to pay TCN for the educational materials and services provided.  It should be noted that Ms. **’s contract with TCN under the heading Customer Acknowledgment clearly states that TCN customers understand that “TCN is not responsible for changes to state board of nursing or other regulatory requirements, nor is it responsible for changes to state board of nursing or other regulatory requirements, nor is it responsible for the approval of various programs by any boards or agencies.”

However, as a good corporate citizen, and without any admission and without any waiver, at this time TCN is willing to grant Ms. **’s request for cancellation under the following conditions:

            1.         Ms. ** execute TCN’s Release and Settlement Agreement; and

2.               Upon that execution:

(a)       TCN will pay off and close Ms. **’s loan in the approximate amount of $3,000.00 with [redacted] Financial Credit Union.
