company which provides study material and support to help its customers pass college equivalency examinations.  TCN has assisted many customers in obtaining their degrees at the Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
 
[redacted] signed a contract with TCN established her account on January 28, 2009. [redacted]’s account was assigned to a third party collection agency, American Credit Exchange, Inc. on January 04, 2010 and subsequently sold to National Credit Adjusters (“NCA”) on October 07, 2010.

Never during my initial purchase as this explained to me. I was told I was enrolling in a bridge program to continue my education. This program will not assist me in anyway in achieving my RN license. I will then have to pay and apply to another college to continue with my education, also not mentioned to me during purchase. I have a witness that has supplied a written statement of conversation of seller and myself. I will contact an attorney at this point.

TCN had a 5-Day Cancellation Policy. [redacted] did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel her contract. TCN will be sending out a Test Fee check to [redacted] within the next 7-10 business days.      
 
[redacted] enrolled with TCN on January 11, 2013 for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Associate of Science in Nursing degree program offered by Excelsior College*.    
 
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind [redacted] that her TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**. In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCN Resource Center.  Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals.  The Academic Guidance Planner offers resources to help TCN customers determine what type of learner they are and the best way for them to study, organize their studies, and have a point of reference for their degree program progression. The TCN Resource Center is a learning environment that allows TCN customers to access their Comprehensive Learning Module program in an online, interactive format. TCN also offers customers online practice testing and the ability to take examinations in the comfort of your home.

“The College Network, Inc. agrees to provide to all customers in good standing the following support for the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased as long as I have taken at least one of the tests related to the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased every twelve months from the purchase date forward: Free updated versions of the Comprehensive Learning Modules (shipping and handling may apply) for the duration of my testing program with The College Network, Inc. and assistance in obtaining information and identifying test site locations.
If I have not passed the CLEP, DANTES or Excelsior College* Exam for a particular TCN Comprehensive Learning Module after two attempts, TCN will pay the future cost of re-taking the exam in question, up to the maximum attempts allowed (if any) by CLEP, DANTES, or Excelsior College*. Additionally, TCN will provide me with specific study plans with one of its Academic Advisors and/or the use of an approved tutor in my local area. Approval and assignment of a special tutor is solely at the discretion of The College Network, Inc.”

This IS MY 3RD complaint regarding The College Networks practice of not sending checks to PAY FOR MY EXAMS. The contract agreement was that they get money through Southeast financial loans with a 12 % interest and The college Network to assist in paying for exams taken through the Excelsior program. I have requested my "exam fees" once every 2 weeks to college network and each email reply states that they are forwarding this matter to "accounting" and thats it. I have every email I requested to them and replies from them stating the same thing with no resolution. I would like the checks I requested going back to April 12, 2015. They have informed me that it would be 12 weeks for the checks to arrive from the time I requested, to date, I have received no checks. I WOULD LIKE THE EXAM FEES THAT I HAVE REQUESTED FOR 2 EXAMS WITH THE AMOUNT OF $650 ($325 EACH) WHICH THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE SENDING ME ANYWAYS OR A FULL REFUND OF THE AMOUNT ORIGINALLY CHARGED TO ME. $4722. I do not want a lifetime guarantee as I had previously stated when calling and talking with the representative. As for the testing guarantee I took one test 2 times and failed. I was only allowed to take this 3 times. When I called and spoke with a representative to try and figure out something else I was informed I could find a tutor but that other than that there was not other way TCN could help me, and they would not help me find a tutor as stated in contract. I just want to be finished with this, and I do not think this is fair that it is not stated upfront about the 5 day time frame or that you are just stuck after this. I only took 6% of the classes, and I do not want to finish the remainder. I understand I have to pay part of the fees that were agreed upon but do not think it is fair to me to have to pay all of the fees when I am no longer taking any classes, and do not plan on taking anymore. Along with my tuition fees the testing fees were included. I do not understand why I still have to pay for all the testing fees but will never see this money back. It was stated I would receive the testing fees for the tests. I am willing to pay a percentage of what is owed as I only see this as fair at this time. Also if I am unable to get out of my contract, and still have to pay the full amount of tuition it is only fair that TCN send me a check for the total amount of testing fees. Otherwise I will never see this money and be able to use it but they are able to use it as they like.

I have previously filed a complaint but it was never resolved as promised. I requested an exam fee for Human Anatomy and Physiology in May 2015. After multiple phone calls, emails, and one complaint to the Revdex.com, I have been told it will be processed soon. As of today, 12/10/15, I still have not received a check. I call on a daily basis but have not been able to speak to a human, my emails have not been returned.  To receive my exam fee at very minimum. Since this company is a known scam with alerts on multiple states Revdex.com websites, I would like to have my debt with TCN to be cancelled.

They have fraudulently signed my name on the loan. They did not inform me that it is not a legitimate school.  I have a copy of the loan agreement showing that the College Network forged my signature on the loan, which is illegal. I will proceed with court action if they do not agree to terminate the loan with the company and Southeastern Financial Credit Union. I am aware that they have many, many other law suits against them at this point in time, one more won't hurt! I refuse to accept this treatment, fraud and forgery. This is not a school this is a publishing company. I do not need their "life time guarantee". I need my money back that was stolen from me and the loan terminated. I will not agree to anything less.?

TCN agrees to reduce [redacted] contract by $775.50 for the cost of two Comprehensive Learning Modules (CLM) added to her contract. In addition, TCN will allow [redacted] access too these two CLMs at no cost so she can still complete her program.

I know that this company is not technically a scam, but their business practices are beyond subpar. They use high pressure sales tactics to reel you into an overpriced educational system that can actually be obtained directly from nay educational institutions for much cheaper. You have only a few days (I believe 3) to decide whether or not this $10,000 program is a good fit for you and if you don't figure out that it's not in that time, then you have no further recourse and are stuck paying for the years-long program that you may never use. This program may work for a few but anyone considering going thir route should think long and hard before getting into it because it's just not worth it in my opinion.
