I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was not aware that there was only a 5 day cancellation period. The representative that was welcomed into my home did not inform me of that. A period of 5 days is not enough time for anyone to read the material provided by said representative and get familiar with the "program". I am not satisfied with TCN decision as they are still taking money from my account and I am no longer using the product. I also feel that the reason I signed on with TCN is because it was my understanding that there were Teachers/Instructors that I could contact if I needed assistance. That was/is not true. There are people that answer the phone and read from a book of notes. The response that TCN gave toward my complaint was a generic response, as I am sure there have been many. The information in TCN response was information that I already gave to The Revdex.com.  I am still requesting for TCN to discontinue the withdrawal of funds from account. I am sure they are making plenty of money from this scam, but I no longer wish to be a part of it. Regards,[redacted]

So again I still waited even after you stated I would receive my check in 8-10 business days.  My issue with the college network is you continue to state that [redacted] program allows her to study when she's ready.  I've been ready and the college network continues to hinder my progress by not holding up your share of the agreement by sending my exam fee checks within two-three weeks.  It took over six months to receive one check.  I actually was suppose to receive two checks because the college network stated that you would send the second one out asap because I've been waiting on the first check so long.  I have totally lost any trust that I had in the college network and I don't feel the college network will hold up to their end of the agreement.  As you and I can see the college network is having some issues that are out of control for them which in turn makes my school process very difficult.  This process is unacceptable and I do not have six extra months to wait on another exam fee check.  Again I have only a few more payments before I completely pay the college network off.  I would like a full refund because I feel the college network can not give me what we agreed on.  This process is unacceptable.

The College Network, Inc. (“TCN”) is an educational services and eLearning company which provides...

study material and support to help its customers pass college equivalency examinations.  TCN has assisted many customers in obtaining their degrees at the Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
 
TCN had a 5-Day Cancellation Policy. [redacted] did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel his contract.
 
[redacted] signed his contract with TCN on August 19, 2013 for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Associate of Science Degree in nursing offered by Excelsior College*.      
 
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind [redacted] that his TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**. In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCN Resource Center.  Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals.  The Academic Guidance Planner offers resources to help TCN customers determine what type of learner they are and the best way for them to study, organize their studies, and have a point of reference for their degree program progression. The TCN Resource Center is a learning environment that allows TCN customers to access their Comprehensive Learning Module program in an online, interactive format. TCN also offers customers online practice testing and the ability to take examinations in the comfort of your home.

I am never going touse this school again so why should they keep money from me. I have already made 3 payments for 134.52 and they charge me 42.52 , 44.50 and $100.00 for a proceesing fee so I feel I should be paid everything back for the injustice they have done to me. the total is $4123.02 and for the fact they sold me somthing I did not need or was elligable for.

TCN will pay off and close [redacted] loan in the approximate amount of $4,900.00 with [redacted] Credit Union.
 
Monies retained by TCN will be treated as an “Educational Credit” which can be utilized by [redacted] at any time in the future to complete her non Certificate TCN educational program using TCN materials.

 This does not resolve my problem  it was advertised to me as a bridge program that I could get through in as little as six months however I have been waiting six months to a year to pay for each test because I was waiting on payment for college network I want a full refund  so that I may actually take the program elsewhere at this rate I would be waiting 10 to 12 years to complete a program I was promised as little as six months at my pace however it is at college networks pace which is unacceptable !!  I want a full refund Regards,[redacted]

Currently enrolled in Exclesior College Online and I pre-purchased Exam fees and Literature through The College Network. I sent an Exam Refund Request on April 7 2015. I have called The College Network two times about my refund and both times was told the accounting dept is backed up. Last year the same issue happened and I ended up filing a complaint. I do not have the extra money to wait 6 months for $375. The College Network is delaying my graduation due to not refunding my money in a timely manner.  I would like my money that I have requested. In regards to how The College Network Inc. misrepresented themselves in my opinion was that when the representative came to do the sales pitch, he stated that the money I pay would be for books,...

testing, and that I would receive academic support. Not once did a anyone contact me for any support. From my understanding I would be paying for a service, I did not use any of the services therefore I should not have to pay. The guy also stated that these credits will be accepted at colleges, this is a matter if fact NOT true!!! I asked the counselor at [redacted] who told me these credits are NOT accepted and if I did these courses with The College Network the credits will not be accepted and I would have to take those classes at UCC or an accredited school. The College Network misrepresents everything about themselves and they are scamming people out of their hard earned money. It's a misrepresentation that they are telling people the credits are accepted at colleges when they are not and it's very unfair that they want me to pay for something I did NOT use. I didn't use any books or any other services from them. Why continue to pay for "testing out" of classes when the credits are worthless and I and anyone else who The College Network scams have to end up going to a regular college and take these courses again anyway. 
 
I am not alone in being frustrated with this company there are many people who feel scammed by this company. They also represent themselves as an LPN to RN program which they are not (another misrepresentation). There are many blogs on the internet of unhappy people like myself that were scammed by this company who misrepresents themselves. Representing yourself as a "college program" when you are in fact a publishing company that sells books is a horrible thing to do to people who want to earn a degree.
