Dear [redacted],In reading your letter and in pulling [redacted] file we have not received a refund request from [redacted]. In [redacted] complaint it is clear that all of her conversations have been with Adventure to remember not our office the Travel Center. Since we...

do not have extensions or any one employed with the name [redacted]mentioned. I have enclosed a copy of the signed document that [redacted] faxed to our office requesting the booking documents and the receipt from the post office that those documents have been delivered. On the signed document it states that the Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it from. If you have any questions about the package please call that company. Since [redacted] has the booking company information and their terms and conditions for the vacation requested. [redacted] will need to contact that company to make her vacation reservations. If no contact has been made to the booking company I do not see how the reservations can be made otherwise. The Travel Center cannot make her travel arrangements [redacted] has all the information needed to book her vacation that she is requesting in her letter to be honored.[redacted] is requesting to have the vacation honored and a refund? [redacted] is requesting a refund for 678.00 this amount was not paid to the Travel Center. If [redacted] would like to request a refund from the Travel Center an email needs to be sent to [redacted]. We will be more than happy to process the refund request. Unfortunately because we have sent out the vacation vouchers to the client the only way that the Travel Center can offer them a partial refund is if the vouchers have not registered, written on or used the vacation vouchers in any way and can return them back to the Travel Center in the same condition that they were sent to them. On the signed document it states that any changes or cancellations made later may result in a small administrative change fee. Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center. Please instruct [redacted] to move forward however she chooses. [redacted] will need to contact the other company that the other fees were paid to if she chooses the refund option.

Dear [redacted],In response to the letter dated November 11, 2014 from the Travel Center, I disagree. [redacted] vacations was the first stop on the scam tour they are running. We paid them $98.00 via personal check #[redacted], a copy of which is attached. Fun Time Travel, which has the same address as the Travel Center, we paid $50 via money order, a copy of which is attached. This $50 was supposed to be a deposit towards my taxes and fees. Yes it is a different suite number, but it’s all the same company.
I am completely upset by this entire process. Someone needs to take responsibility for this scam. [redacted] vacation promised two FREE airline tickets. All we had to pay were any government fees and taxes. Now, the quote I received was for $683. That is an awful lot of taxes and fees. I have since purchased my tickets to Las Vegas. The total I paid for tickets, fees and taxes was $584.00 for two people. So how was their quote legitimate? Of course, the Travel Center said they didn’t understand how that is, but if I would like another quote, just send in $25.00 more for a second quote. SCAM. Below is the actual fees and taxes we paid on our upcoming trip to Las Vegas. One WayTotal for 2 traveler(s) in US DollarsBase Fare (x2): $243.72 Federal Tax $48.28Domestic Taxes and Fees:Passenger Facility Tax $9.00 Security Fee $11.20 Segment Fee $8.00 U.S. Customs User Fee $0.00 Travel insurance Fee $0.00Fare $290.20*Special Service Requests $0.00TOTAL $290.20If you total this round trip, it comes out to $92.96 in taxes and fees, which we would have been more than happy to pay. We followed all of the rules, traveling on the days in which the Travel Center told us. It is much more than 90 days in advance, as we are vacationing in August. So I am completely baffled as to how they came up with $341.50/person.
I originally gave these companies the benefit of the doubt. Now all they have done is screwed me out of $148. I would like my money back. Honestly, I do not care which of these companies gives me back my money, but I want it. After all, it is only fair. I did not get what I was promised. Therefore, I should be entitled to my full refund. I believe, [redacted] and The Travel Center to be all one entity. Please do what you can, with the evidence I have given you, to get my refunds please.Sincerely,

After reading the letter that Ms. [redacted] has sent to your office we have the following response to the issues that have been brought up.
It seems that the first issue being brought up has something to do with advertising and a phone number and customer Service agent that is not our own....

Unfortunately, due to the fact that we here at the Travel Center do not sell or advertise any product which is does state on our documentation we cannot assist with any information, questions or complaints pertaining to such matters. Ms. [redacted] would need to contact the company that did advertise the product to her in order to file a complaint with that company, we cannot answer on behalf of another company. The next issue that can be read on the complaint that Ms. [redacted] has submitted seems to be that she requested a refund and never received the response that the refund department sent to her, unfortunately due to the fact that the refund Ms. [redacted] requested was responded to on 5/6/2015 via email and our customer service department was not contacted by Ms. [redacted] pertaining to the issue until 8/10/2015 we really cannot state anymore towards the issue except that on that same day 8/10/2015 the refund department was contacted and instructed to re-forward the previously sent response to the customer and to the email that was Submitted to us by the customer. Unfortunately it seems that this complaint was filed previous to Ms. [redacted] calling and having our customer Service department contact the refund department to have the request response re-sent to her. Due to this fact that would be why Our Customer Service department constantly let Ms. [redacted] know that unfortunately until this complaint is closed and until we receive something in writing stating that no legal nor negative action will be taken against our company, the customer service department could not assist her. It is company policy that if there is an open complaint against the Travel Center that the customer service and refund departments cannot assist a customer until that complaint is resolved and closed. Once the complaint is closed the departments may resume contact with the customer and assist in all of the customers needs. At this time we see that Ms. [redacted] is still requesting her full refund, in order to close this matter We will be more than happy to do so. Please have Ms. [redacted] first close the complaint, after this is completed she may email the refund department at [redacted] accepting the full refund and referencing this complaint. The refund will be processed and at that time our business will be concluded with Ms. [redacted]. Sincerely,The Travel Center Staff

Dear [redacted],
In [redacted] letter the complaint is about advertising issues. On the documents that [redacted] signed and faxed to our office that I have enclosed for your records. I will be referencing these documents In my response I have also...

highlighted the areas of interest. On the first document that [redacted] signed it states “The Travel Center is only responsible for providing you with the proper vacation vouchers, and is not responsible for the sale or advertisement of this product. If you have any questions - regarding the purchase of your vacation program please contact the company that you purchased it from". On the second document that [redacted] faxed in to our office requesting her booking documents it also state the same that the Travel Center does not sell or advertise. It also covers our refund policy “Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request there cannot be any refunds of any fees Collected by the Travel Center". On the customer notice that was signed and faxed to our office it covers our refund policy again “If the provider voids your vacation due to customer error you cannot be reissued another voucher and any money collected by the Travel Center cannot be refunded”. I have also enclosed all of our email correspondence with [redacted] concerning the refund that was requested and our reply. [redacted] also states that her vouchers were voided due to her error. This was all explained to [redacted] back in October 2014 in the email correspondence.
On December 1, 2014 [redacted] faxed our office requesting another vacation booking. Please note the highlighted area “By Checking this box I accept the Travel Center terms and conditions. There is not contract for goods or services created between the Travel Center and [redacted]. Any problems or complaints between you and the seller/promotional company regarding other promotions not contained in your promotional brochure must be addressed with the seller/promotional company only, and are not the responsibility of the Travel Center". In an attempt to assist [redacted] in getting her vacation booked we emailed the online booking company information on December 2, 2014. [redacted] was sent the website and given the access code to begin the online booking process. Since [redacted] submitted the complaint with your office back on November 9, 2014 it seems [redacted] is attempting to book the vacation and ask for a refund at the same time. Since a complaint wasfiled with your agency no vacation quote will be provided by the online booking company her file has been closed with the Travel Center.
[redacted] needs to go back to the company that gave her the advertisement to get the refund she is seeking. Since the Travel Center does not advertise, sell or promote, such documents would have been issued by the other company. With the signed documents from [redacted] in accepting our refund policy and terms and conditions no further correspondence is required from the Travel Center.
Sincerely,Donna,
Comptroller

Dear [redacted],After reading the letter that [redacted] sent to your office it is clear that [redacted] is upset with [redacted] Travel and not the Travel Center. Since we are not the same company her letter should be forwarded to [redacted] Travel for the refund...

amount she is seeking. If [redacted] Travel gave [redacted] the total cost for the vacation that was purchased, then [redacted] Travel should have booked her travel and not sent [redacted] to the Travel Center. The Travel Center does not sell anything or give vacation quotes to anyone since We are not the booking company.I have provided copies of the signed documents we have on file from [redacted]. On the very first document that [redacted] mailed to our office it states The Travel Center is only responsible for providing you with the proper vacation vouchers, and is not responsible for the sale or advertisement of this product. If you have any questions regarding the purchase of your vacation program please contact the company that you purchased it from. The second document that was faxed to our office the BOOKING INFORMATION NEEDED form covers some of the reason as to why the vacation quote was higher than what was told to [redacted] from [redacted] Travel. A 90 day advanced notice is required for all vacations. [redacted] faxed the form to our office on January 9, 2015 and the requested dates were in March. For the 90 day advanced notice restriction of the bonus vacation purchased her date selection for travel should have been after April 9, 2015. That same document also covers that the Travel Center is not the booking company that she would be sent the booking codes to contact the booking company. This form also goes over other restrictions or guidelines as for non-peak season travel and to depart on a Tuesday or Wednesday. [redacted] requested travel dates to the booking company for a Thursday departure. Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center. The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it from. If you have any questions about the package please call that company. All vacations pricing are subject to change without notice prior to confirmed booking. Any problem or complaints between you and the seller I promotional company regarding other promotions and not contained in your promotional brochure must be addressed with the seller I promotional company only, and are not the responsibility of the Travel Center. By checking this box I accept the Travel Center terms and conditions. It is not the Travel Center or the booking company's responsibility to make clients stay within the restrictions, guidelines of the bonus vacation they have purchased from another company. Should the booking company not to allow clients to upgrade their vacations or to change dates of travel to add additional days or to upgrade to first class if they so desire just to stay within the guidelines of what another company sold.
The Travel Center attempts to educate each client as to the different companies that are involved in the booking process of the bonus vacation. We just cannot guarantee that [redacted] read the documents before signing them. If [redacted] Travel gave her the cost for the vacation the signed document that [redacted] sent our office with the disclosure "that all vacations pricing are subject to change without notice prior to confirmed booking" should have raised these concerns prior to sending this document in and a telephone call to this office would have cleared all these questions up. All of our information was sent to [redacted] from [redacted] Travel to contact us to arrange for a booking company. This is why this letter should be sent to [redacted] Travel for the refund that [redacted] is seeking. The amount being requested to be refunded was also not paid to the Travel Center.
Sincerely, Donna

The company is called the Travel center. They send the fax that has great prices for vacations. Once you call they get you to pay $140 a person to get you booking started. Then you get an email with the next steps you need to complete. Mail $69 a person to another company Fun time vacations. It's all a rip off. We did the first payment over the phone via check. The other payments had to be mailed by money order or check to two different address. The last step is to get your quote for the final payment of taxes. Which ends up being another quote all together than the one you originally received. They wanted another $600. We paid a total of $500 and was not giving them another dime. Then to try and get a refund we have to send emails to gmail accounts. They don't even have company emails. [email protected]. [email protected]. Please investigate this scam and shut them down.

Review: I have already filed a complaint with [redacted] Travel which I paid them $300 for a 3 night trip. After paying [redacted] Travel I received a form to pay The Travel Center World Wide $138 to activate the trip. I paid them and next I received a form to pay [redacted] another $198 to book the trip. I was informed by [redacted] Travel that I would incur any other fees yet all these fees came to me thru certified mail. When I spoke to the travel center the rep stated the $138 fee would be all I have to pay for the trip. Then [redacted] told me the same thing. Each company told me the same thing, but the fees continued to accrue. In the end I never received my trip because it was voided and no one contacted me or anything. I had to call around and find out on my own. The entire trip was a scam and I have been in constant contact with the travel Center but when I called this morning I was told by the rep that I have not been responding to the emails from travel center, but I have a several emails in which I have proof of my responses. Beginning with the scam form [redacted] travel and now travel center and [redacted] I am out of pocket for $636 for a 3 night trip I will never receive.Desired Settlement: I need a refund for my funds in the amount of $138. It is very unfair and stressful for a single parent such as myself to spend my money hoping for a trip only to find out all the money I spent has been taken without providing me any services. I have bills, I have children and I need my money.

Review: The [redacted] Center advertised to a business fax a cruise. We sent the required amount of $500 and in return confirmed mail a request for another $138 for a booking fee. We sent that . We received another packet comfirmed mail from a totally different company requiring more money. Upon questioning this company it seems that the initial $500 is not going to them. We basically start over and send them a booking fee of $100 to book a cruise through [redacted] Cruise Reward. This in turn will get us a cruise at more cost. I am requesting our initial $500 from [redacted] and $138 from [redacted] Center. At this time I am waiting for an answer. No amount of phone calls has gotten me the opportunity to talk to a supervisor. He is either out for the day or on break.Desired Settlement: To be refunded money sent in good faith for a service not rendered.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I received this offer on my work fax on April 18, 2013 and called ###-###-####. I sent a $500 voice recorded verification by phone on April 18, 2013. The cancelled check indicates that an [redacted] through [redacted] was accepted on that date. But the company called [redacted] is who I spoke to . This in turn triggered a response from the Travel Center to issue a certified mail letter that I had to sign for April 29, 2013. This letter requires that I send $138.00 ( double occupancy, $69 ea) for a booking fee. At this point I have not specifically booked a trip. I sent in the money and received another certified letter on May 31, 2013 from [redacted] requesting a $100 deposit and another $50 for airline vouchers. I called [redacted] and discovered from them that they do not get any money from Travel Center and [redacted] is not mentioned anywhere. In order for us to get this trip I have send the above mentioned fees. But this is not the end. [redacted] cannot tell me how much the trip will cost until I pay the fees. But it will be more money because the $500 I orginally sent does not go to [redacted]. This to me resembles a pryamid scheme. One step triggers another. No one in each step will take responsibilty for the step before. What happened to my original $500? Who has it? [redacted]? Travel Center for sure has my $138. I want my money returned. Both the $500 and $138 .

Regards,

Review: I recieved a fax from The Travel Center at work for a vacation of 3days /2 nights for 149.98 per person . I called the number after checking with my wife on taking the trip and spoke with one [redacted] at x[redacted] . He explained to me that the price is $300.00 for the double occupency plus another $69.00 per person reservation fee . I have paid all the fees that I was told about except for the taxes that was also quoted at about $30.00 per night . Now I have been sent to another company who wants another $99 per person just to pass me along to a booking agent that will then tell me the total cost of the trip . So at this point do to there misleading advertisement ( wire fraud ) I am out a total of $450.00 and have nothing to show for it except a bunch of paperwork . I have tried to contact my original sales person but I keep getting transferd to some company that calls themselves the [redacted] . Who claims to have no knowledge of who I am looking to talk to .

This has been such a rip off , I should have known better by looking at the price of the trip . Then to have the trip price changed to a so called travel membership , and now a third company asking for another $99.00 to process the request so they can send it to a booking agency that will the let me know how much the trip will actually cost me . This is WIRE FRAUD and if I do not get my money back in full I will be forced to take this to the Attorny General as it is a felony offense . I have names dates and times of when who spoke to during this whole transaction .Desired Settlement: I would like all of my money that I have sent via over the phone checks returned to my account or a check sent to me in the total of $450.00 .

Review: I purchased a travel voucher for in June 2013 which ahd to be used within one year. I completed all other required documentation and paid my corresponding fees within the required timeframes. total paid to The Travel center was 138.00 booking fee and $299.96 for the initial purchase. They Advertise "Travel Gurantee" and today I was informed by one of thier vendors ([redacted]) that my voucher had been denied due to not meeting all of thier terms and conditions. They make it virtually impossible to meet all of the terms and conditions with the intent to denie travelers like me and keep the fees collected. I had a gut feeling from the very first mailing that this might happen so I paid close attention to the deadlines and completed documentation. I made an honest effort to comply with all the requested information and made several attempts to follow-up and obtain a status on my request; each time I was told that the information was being processed and that I would receive a communication within one to two weeks. This went on for 7 months. My voucher expires 5/31/14 and I don't have sufficient time anymore to make another reservation. I never received a notification of the denial and I found out by making a call today.Desired Settlement: Due to a lack of communication and the impossible terms and conditions that need to be met from the processing center by YOUR selected vendor. I'm requesting a refund of $437.96 for fees paid to your agency. I was not communicated at the time of purchase that I would be dealing with another party. I was under the impression that your sales rep was my travel agent and would handle my vacation. This has been a misrepresentation of your services regardless if it was later communicated in written form. This should have been disclosed from the initial phone conversation with [redacted].

Review: Attended a presentation on vacation packages with the promise of free vacations. Paid $196.00 to Travel Center, did not receive the promised vacations and they refuse to refund my money, stating "We assigned you to a booking company. If that company did not provide you will a vacation, it is not our fault".I have asked on the phone and in several emails for my refund. They are very rude and hang up and/or do not answer my emails.Desired Settlement: Return of my $196.00 payment.

Response:

August 12, 2014Dear [redacted],After reading the letter and pulling [redacted]s file this is what documentation we have on record. On 4-22-2014 our office received two checks from [redacted] for $98.00 each for two different vacations. On May 20 2014 we sent [redacted] the booking documents via certified mail. On June 20, 2014 we sent out the second set of booking documents via certified mail. On July 29, 2014 [redacted] emailed our office for a refund.I have enclosed all the documents in her file that I will be explaining including the email correspondence. In the email correspondence requested a refund we went over the signed documents with her. That once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center. In the letter to your office it is stating that if we cannot provide her with a vacation it is not their fault. The booking documents were sent to [redacted] if she could not fill out the documents correctly and follow their directions and the vacation booking documents were voided that is not the Travel Centers fault. Please see the signed document from [redacted] that gave her notice of this fact that no refund would be given in this event. So as you can see the Travel has been answering the emails that in the letter [redacted] stated we were not doing. On July 31, 2014 [redacted] email our office requesting to be assigned to another booking company and would withdraw the refund request. 8-5-2015 the new Booking information Form was sent to [redacted] to fill our and send to our office. When we received the new forms for the new booking company our customer service representative noticed that the forms were altered by [redacted]. On August 6, 2014 one of our customer service representative called [redacted] to explain that our documents could not be altered and that she could fax a new set of unaltered documents to our office or we could not send her to the online booking company she requested. Well let's just say that [redacted] was not happy that she could not alter the documents to her satisfaction more threats came from [redacted] as you can read in her emails to our office. Here at the Travel Center we are making every attempt to assist [redacted] in getting the vacation of her choice. The documents that need to be signed cannot be altered. [redacted] either agrees to the terms and conditions as set forth in those documents or the Travel Center cannot send her the booking company's. Please keep in mind that the Travel Center does not have to send [redacted] to another booking company since her booking documents to the first company was voided. I believe that [redacted] wants to alter the next booking company document so that the same issue does not come up for a refund once she gets that company to void her request. Since the Travel Center has made every attempt to assist [redacted] in getting the vacation of her choice and [redacted] refuses to follow the instructions set forth in the booking process the Travel Center cannot assist [redacted] any further. Please close this case and instruct [redacted] of her options to either fill out the new booking company documents unaltered so that we can send the online booking codes. No further communication is required from the Travel Center since we have made every attempt possible in [redacted]s case. No refund will be issued since the booking documents were purchased from the Travel Center per [redacted] request so there is no fund to refund to [redacted].Sincerely,Donna Comptroller

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is NOT satisfactory to me. I gave them $196.00 and have not received any services from them. They want to say I filled out the paperwork incorrectly or that the other company tried to schedule a vacation, both of these claims are wrong. I received a full refund from the other company. The Travel Center has no reason or claim on my $196.00.What is the next step?

Review: I called about a fax I received on a trip to Dominic Republic. I spoke to 2 people and everything sounded legitimate. I paid for a trip with a check by phone and was told I would receive a brochure and my agreement. I didnt get my agreement until after they had cashed my check. I read the rules and it states I had 72 hours to stop the payment or it was non refundable. I tried calling the company and was hung up on and or transfered to another number then was hung up on. You cant reach anyone ,they wont return your calls. My friend also bought a trip ,her bank refunded her the money, the company called her to get another bank account info and she told them they were fraud and they hung up.Desired Settlement: I would like my $346.00 I was scammed out of back.

November 25, 2014Dear [redacted],After reading the rejection letter and in an attempt to pull [redacted] file in the Travel Center's accounting data base it has come to my attention that [redacted] has never paid the Travel Center any fund. Once I pulled the prior letter from your office my response still does not change. I am truly sorry that | typed [redacted] name incorrectly on my first reply to office. Our accounting system does not have either name in the system as receiving payment. The Travel Center does not fax, advertise or sell anything and we do not have a HR department. Our office was not provided any of the documents that [redacted] indicates that were provided to your office.Unless [redacted] can provide your office those documents that you can forward a copy to the Travel Center for review the Travel Center cannot assist [redacted] in realizing which company she is speaking about the faxes, email and the telephone conversations that [redacted] had with another company. Since she will not accept my word that the Travel Center has not and does not fax, advertise, or sell anything. Without such documents we cannot assist [redacted] any further. What the Travel Center requires is a copy of the canceled check front and back that [redacted] stated she paid the Travel Center. Is it possible that if there is another name on the bank account that was listed in our accounting records under that name I believe that [redacted] received our company information from the company that the payment was made to?If [redacted] is unwilling to provide the Travel Center with the documents we have requested our office cannot help [redacted] any further and no further correspondence is required from the Travel Center since [redacted] cannot prove any payments to this company.Sincerely,Donna Comptroller

Review: Received a fax about Blow out vacation package. 7 day caribbean cruise with round trip air fare for $249.98. We called the number [redacted] and talked to [redacted] I asked alot of questions to which I was still not sure about this deal. He told me that the only other fee's would be they're booking fee of $69.00 per person and any tax's. We were told we had to send $1000 to them that day to get this deal and we would receive our vouchers. We soon found out we were then sent to two different companys to complete our booking. There were too many stipulations and restrictions that we got more concern. For instance the RT air could not be used with the cruise. Also we found out that it wasn't a cruise with RT air that we purchased it was a 1 year subsciption into their vacation program, which we were never told anything about. We search for more info about scams from this company and we just want our money back.Desired Settlement: $1276.00

Review: I would like to express to you my anguish at having tried to take advantage of “A Great Vacation Deal.” Our office of employment received a fax explaining how we could take advantage of vacations abroad. It had caught my eye when I read that I could pay $600 for a trip for two to Hawaii. It stated that pricing included hotel and flight. This seemed very inexpensive so I made sure I read the fine print and looked into what I would actually be paying for this trip. I found out that there would be an additional activation fee of $138, which I was okay with considering the price. Also, I would be charged taxes for each night spent at the hotel, and food and drinks, which is all very understandable. I was thorough with my questions, and Travel Center had cast away any doubts I had about there being anymore dollars spent. I received information from Travel Center so I assumed they were the agency I was working with. I started receiving documents from other facilities named [redacted] and [redacted] which I wasn't aware of all the different parties I was going to be working with. Through being timely and prompt I was still getting this feeling that [redacted] and [redacted] were very much out of tune with one another. [redacted] informed us that the flight is only possible on a Tuesday. I then contacted [redacted] so I could book the hotel. I was told that I can only book the hotel starting on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday! Upon hearing this information, it gave me an overwhelming feeling of deception and disappointment. This is because, on making agreement with Travel Center, they had reassured me that there would be no additional costs in order to make my trip to Hawaii a reality. The representative from [redacted] even suggested that I do what “most people do,” and pay for the extra nights. From my experiences in dealing with all parties concerned, I feel horribly misinformed and cheated. When I contacted Travel Center, I was rudely informed by the representative of my apparent mistake, and that [redacted] Vacation is the agency I contact in regards to the $600 amount. The representative did however, make it clear, their part was taking my payment for the activation fee of $138. At this point my whole travel ordeal had been such a drain on my soul I had asked for a refund. “No we don’t do that,” was the immediate response. I respectively requested to speak with a supervisor and my response was “I will not give you the owner’s information or name I’m the supervisor, the secretary and I make all the decisions and I will not give you a refund.” Before I could make sense of such an irrational and unprofessional response, the representative had hung up the phone. My chance of getting the representatives name had been taken from me due to her emotional and unprofessional behavior. My next step was to call back, what I believe to be, [redacted] Travel. Their advice is was to speak to their legal department. I duly obliged and attempted to contact their legal department with the e-mail address that was given to me. I have yet to receive any response.

Upon this moment I had performed all instructions put forth, and to no avail. There see** to be several organizations collaborating in an ineffective and dishonest partnership. I am not pinpointing the blame on one, but rather accusing the partnership of business that comes across as very unprofessional and deceitful. This type of business see** unfair and very wrong. I will be taking the necessary actions to make sure I get my money back.Desired Settlement: I am working toward a full refund of all expenses in the amount of $738. Better still, I would sleep peacefully at night knowing that such horrendous business practice is not repeated.

Dear **. [redacted],

In response to a letter our office received concerning a **. [redacted]. In pulling **. [redacted] file and going over the records and her complaint this is what was found. On or about July 17, 2013 **. [redacted] signed and faxed over the Booking information form and the customer notice to our office. On the booking request form we ask the question “Do you plan to use you Air Voucher with this vacation? If yes it will be mailed to you certified mail and you contact the Air Provider for details. The air voucher may or may not be able to be used with some of the vacations offered.” This is on the form for several reasons since we are not the booking company we do not have access to their inventory. It also depends on which state the customer is flying from and the dates they wish to travel as to the accommodations requested. On that same form it states the refund policy that once the booking vouchers are ordered and issued no refund can be provided by the Travel Center. Especially if the vouchers have been damaged, written on or registered with the booking company or have expired. The product has been used that was purchased from the Travel Center per **. [redacted] request .If it has not been used, damaged or written on **. [redacted] can send the refund request to and that department will respond with further instructions.

On November 20, 2013 we mailed **. [redacted] extension stickers for her booking vouchers per her request. The vacation vouchers must not have been registered with the booking company within the time frame indicated on the booking documents. This is the last correspondence we have on file for **. [redacted].

I wish **. [redacted] would have gotten the name of the employee that was rude to her from The Travel Center. We do not have any Secretary’s here and all refund requests are done via email only. **. [redacted] may have gotten the companies confused. Ail refunds are handled case by case I cannot answer or respond to the other company’s refund procedures. The Travel Center is not in any partnership with any other company. On all of our documentation it clearly states that we are not the company that sold anything and we refer all customers back to that company since we do not know what customers have purchased.

Sincerely

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

In reviewing the response of Travel Center to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) in regards to my situation, I am still very goaded and unsatisfied. I regrettably received, read, and signed the voucher that was provided by Travel Center. It’s unfortunate, or maybe

convenient for some, that my main issue arose after I had done this. I first spoke to [redacted], as it was required, about the details of this “great vacation deal.” My instinct was to question the pricing and policies as it seemed too good to be true. After being assured of the costs and fees involved in the process of booking the vacation, I felt relatively assured. As the process dragged on I did not expect there to be so many different organizations responsible in making the trip possible. After I had signed and sent the

information back was when I discovered that I can only book the flights on certain days and then the hotel can only be booked on certain days also. I thought it had to be some mistake as that doesn’t make much sense. So when I questioned again, they told me that this is how it’s done. I was quite incensed as I had asked thoroughly what was involved in costs and fees, and this had not

been mentioned once. I was even told, “just pay for the extra nights of the hotel like most other people.” That was the final red flag for me. What sense is a package vacation deal that fails to tell you the particular days you can book flight and hotel on, that

are two completely different days of the week? And it’s funny how you don’t find this out until you have already made a non refundable payment.

The assumption that my voucher had not been registered with the booking company is incorrect. I had registered and already dealt with the booking company. Infinity saw proof of registration and just requested I write them a letter explaining why I would like my refund. I have already received my money back for them. I can provide a copy of the check they sent me along with an official letter from their business signed Infinity Incentive Group, [redacted]. They were polite, proper and professional, provided full names, and apologized for the situation. The way I found out that Grand Incentives and Infinity weren’t really working in tandem was after I sent in the voucher, and then Grand Incentives sent me their booking details. Shortly after that I received information from Infinity on their booking details and that’s when I realized the dates of each did not match up. One can only let me book a flight on one particular day, when the other will only let me start my stay in the hotel on 3 particular days of the week. To follow through with this

“Great Vacation Deal,” would mean having to pay for several extra nights in the hotel. In no way was this explained to me. Even when examining the deal extensively I was under no assumption that I would actually have to pay a lot more money than what I was promised. This type of business is extremely misleading and unethical. I have already sent an email in regards to a refund to your company [redacted], which is from an email I received from your company and have still had no reply.

Its baffling that I am dealing with so many different organizations here. Whether you work with the other companies in a partnership or not, it would suggest that you are if when I make a payment to [redacted], I then get notified by yourselves to make payment on the activation fees? The bottom line is that I had parted with my hard earned money to book the vacation that I

would like and very much deserve. I have been blatantly lied to, mislead, and swindled out of my opportunity for a supposed “Great Vacation Deal.”

I’ve printed out every Email, made copies of each of the documents that were sent to me from every one of the companies involved – [redacted], Travel Center, Infinity, and Grand Incentives. I have submitted all of the information

along with the emails I sent each of the companies to [redacted], the Attorney General’s Office, IL. [redacted]. And, [redacted], of the Attorneys General Office [redacted], MD. Whatever reasoning you have, it will never be enough to satisfy the deep anguish I feel toward this whole experience. I am going to take the necessary actions to ensure the right thing is done. All I would like

is my refund.

Regards,

Dear **. [redacted],

In response to a rejection letter our office received concerning a **, [redacted], in pulling **. [redacted] file and going over all the records and her complaint this is what was found. The main issues of the rejection letter are being addressed to the other company [redacted]. Since we are not part of that company we cannot answer for them or what conversations have taken place with that company. In [redacted] written terms and conditions it goes over the booking process and the different companies that are involved in the booking process. On our signed documents in **. [redacted]’s file it states that “The airline vouchers may or may not be able to be used with some of the vacations offered”. If **. [redacted] would have called one of our customer service agents would have been able to go over the travel dates. Yes, some clients add additional days to their travel plans or use the airline voucher at a different time. The email address that the refund request was sent to is incorrect email I provided the correct email address in the first correspondence. All refund requests must be sent to refund email department. I am sorry that **. [redacted] feels that [redacted] mislead her. Here at the Travel Center we make every attempt to answer all customer questions and make every attempt to solve any problem we can. Like when **. [redacted] did not register her voucher within the time frame required. We have mailed the extension letter and stickers to **. [redacted] as requested back in November of 2013 to book her selection in the attempt to help **. [redacted]. When a refund is request is received from **. [redacted] to the correct department at the Travel Center the refund process can be started. Once all the different agencies involved files have been closed that **. [redacted] stated in her letter she has written to as of this date we have not received any letters from the agencies mentioned. The refund department will respond with **. [redacted]’s options and what steps must be taken.

Since the Travel Center has answered all questions and have mailed the extension items per requested and still **. [redacted] has chosen to involve other agencies in her attempt to contact [redacted] with the complaint issues with that company. No further correspondence is required from the Travel Center to your agency so please close the file concerning the Travel Centers portion of her complaint.

Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:I have spoken with customer service about this issue and I have received emails in reference to the travel center return policy. I have fax off the form back in May and I never received my itinerary as promised. I wanted to go on my trip in August of this year 2013. At this time if the re issue the voucher it will not be on time for my a looted vacation days at work. This has become an incoveince. I would like a full refund because the travel center didnt carry the side of the deal as promised. I sent the check as an instructed and I faxed the forms as instructed but didn't receive my trip Itinery. I also contacted [redacted] because travel center is a third party through them an I haven't received a response at all. After reading different disputes on Revdex.com I have realized that this is a scandal and I would like my 138$ back from travel center

Regards,

As of May I faxed the forms back needed to receive my travel itinerary. After 3 weeks I begin to call customer service in reference to not receiving my information. I was informed that my info was not received I re faxed it at the time. My other co workers who did the process the same time as I received there paperwork in the mail but I didn't after calling customer service and gettin nowhere I emailed to cancel as the customer service agent instructed me to do this was June 4,2013. I am aware o the 90 day rule that's why I was calling for my information because travel center was not sending it out. My vacation time from work was Aug.29-Sept.2,2013. I fax over the info May 15, 2013 per your email that was my activation day, it says that you will send my info 10-14 business days. I waited until June 4, 2014 to contact customer service about not receiving it. Now about the 90 days my trip was activated on May 15,2013 per your company email which I will copy and paste. My 90 days would have started August 15,2013(give or take a couple of days). So I did everything that I was asked travel center did not complete there end of the deal. I have the OK faxed documents saying that I sent the fax. So that means the fax was successful. Now in my email travel center states they deduct 25$ per a person cancellation fee, I payed 138$ which is for 2 people 69$ per a person that gives me back 88$, 44$ per a person. I want my full refund because of the circumstance that I explained above Travel Center did not fulfill there obligation to me at all. Below I have copy and paste the email received on May 14,2013

Review: We received a post card in the mail and set up an appt. to hear a 90 presentation and in return we would receive two vacation vouchers for free air fair and free cruise for 2

We arrived 5 minutes late and they would not let us go in and they said we would have to reschedule. I explained my husband works out of town and they said they did too!! I started to leave, then I thought about it and returned to the girl and said I felt it was rude that they wouldn't even let us in to hear. They handed us the post card with was the free offers and said "here, this is what you came for" I did take it and returned home filled it out and sent a $69 activation fee per person and sent it in they said I would then receive my vacation vouchers. I figured OK , $138 isn't too bad for free air and cruise for two. I received my envelope and vouchers and called with questions regarding a specific cruise and date. They said they couldn't help me and I needed to send $50 per voucher and then one of their agents would call me to answer my questions. I said I teach, and I need to plan around my school holidays. They could not help me!!!! I am not sending them another penny and I figured I would look into it with the Revdex.com. Sure enough, It's a scam!!!!!!! Thank God I was only out $139. FYI do not go and listen and do not mail in to activate any offer. I have received several free cruises from the cruise companies and casino's and they are truly FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a Refund of my $138 for my activation fee.

Review: We had called the travel center looking to purchase a vacation for 5. We were told we had to act that day and send in a payment by phone and he would give us a vacation for 5 at the price of 4.

We thought we were purchasing a cruise with air fare, instead after getting the papers in the mail we found that what we were purchasing was a year into their program, and they were giving us a bonus vacation. Turns out there is all these other add on prices and all these stipulations its almost impossible to take the cruise and the airfare together. And to take one of their cruises theres alot of requirements and only if they have the dates open. That they have the right to change the dates we pick or the cruise we want.

I think my sister already wrote in on this problem, well I also have money into this vacation I thought I was purchasing not into some program. My sister was lied to over the phone, I was there when she was talking to them and would like this Travel Center checked out so they dont swindle others out of money.Desired Settlement: As I stated I would really like this establishment checked out so as other consumers dont get taken. And would like a total refund of all the money we put into our trip so we can go to a real travel agency and get a vacation we all wanted without all this hassle and other add on prices we we unaware off.

Review: We attended a seminar offering a Free [redacted] Cruise, offered by [redacted] Travel and registered thru The Travel Center. After a high pressure attack we were given or should say thrown our certificate for the so called free cruise. We are travelers and no stranger to these presentations but this went beyond anything we have ever seen.

We registered the paper work the next day and provided a $138.00 fee. Once we got the registration information we noticed in the Terms and Conditions sections, #4 that we were responsible for port charges, gov fees, reservation fees, services charges etc.. "starting" at a minimum of 299.00 per person and must be paid upon confirmation of our selected sailing date. We were told that we were responsible for port charges and taxes, nothing more.

At this point we had NOT made any reservations nor received any confirmation for any travel dates. When we called to have this explained and asked for a refund we were told to "email a request for refund" not to call (no number available to call). We received an email reply that there would be a $25.00 cancellation fee and we would receive 88.00 of our 138.00. As I stated, we have not made any reservations on anything.

So, we attended a high pressure seminar that we made no 8895.00 purchase, we were treated like free loaders by the presenter and given a certificate to the Travel Center that will gouge you and pass the buck to a group that has not phone.

Giving them an F is too good. This is a scam and I will make sure [redacted] investigates this group for misleading their customers for products that cost more than their cruises if called direct to them and booked.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of $138.

It states on that document any changes or cancellations made later may result in a small administrative change fee.Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center. We will be more than happy to process their refund request. Unfortunately because we have sent out the vacation vouchers to the client the only way that the Travel Center can offer them a partial refund is if the vouchers have not registered, written on or used the vacation vouchers in any way and can return them back to the Travel Center in the same condition that they were sent to them. On that same signed document it also states the Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it from. If you have any questions about the package please call that company. At this point **. [redacted] has two options send back the booking documents as outlined in this letter and in the email correspondence to receive the partial refund or keep the booking documents and move forward with booking the vacation v s booking company.
