Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
According
to the guidelines mentioned in the most recent response, I am not eligible for
a refund since I obtained a vacation quote from the Travel Center. The quote which prompted my Revdex.com claim
describing a vacation previously paid for and not honored. Prior to contacting the Revdex.com, I attempted
numerous times to contact the Travel Ceneter via phone and Email without a response
Please
let me know if I should open a separate claim for *** *** *** even
though the two companies are affiliated.
Their program requiring payment of a trip to one then booking and quote fees
to another is confirmation. The result deriving
a quote for $1500+ to take a trip for which I already paid. Which brings us back to the beginning of the
process and still requiring resolution
Regards,
*** ***

Dear *** ***
After Pulling *** *** file a refund was issued on March 18, *** requested her refund on March 13, Please forward her request to *** *** *** the original company that sent her to our companySince the refund has been issued this should close this
case.Sincerely,
Donna

May 4, Dear *** ***,
After reading *** ***'s complaint and looking over the documentation included with the letter those documents were sent to *** *** from *** *** ***It seems this complaint should have gone to that company, and not the Travel CenterSince
*** *** *** (***) gave *** *** the quote for the vacation that company should have booked the vacation for *** *** instead of sending her to the Travel Center. The Travel Center does not book or sell vacations as indicated on the documents that *** *** sent to our companyOn the first signed document that the payment of $were sent to the Travel Center it covers "The Travel Center is only Responsible for providing you with the proper booking documents for the on line booking center, and is not responsible for the sale or advertisement of this productIf you have any questions regarding the purchase of your vacation program please contact *** *** *** @ ***"The second signed document the Booking Information Needed form it covers some of the restrictions and guidelines as to what the booking companies require to stay within the discounted vacations "Please remember that days advanced notice is required for all of these vacationsThe advanced notice time does not start at the time of sale, it starts after you receive your travel documents and codes from the Travel Center and you contact the booking companyThe instructions will be located in your next stepThis promotion is for non- peak season travel (including days before or after any major promotional travel Holiday) with Tuesday and Wednesday departuresThe travel time and departure dates may be bypassed with the knowledge that this violates your promotional offer and will subject you to a possible surcharge"*** *** submitted this document to the Travel Center via fax on March 10, and as you can read the travel date is under the day advanced notice date after contacting the booking companyThe same document also covers our refund policy "Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel enter at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center"As the complaint is with *** *** *** on the same signed document it states "Any problems or complaints between you and the seller / promotional company regarding other promotions not contained in your promotional brochure must be address with the Seller / promotional company only, and are not the responsibility of the Travel CenterIf the quote was higher than expected the booking company would have explained the reasons as to why on the quote that *** *** received but did not include in her documentsThe Travel Center cannot be expected to make clients stay within the guidelines or to follow the restrictions of what was purchased or sold by another companyThe booking company only provides the quotes for what a client requestThe booking company allows clients to upgrade their vacations to meet their travel needsI suggest that *** *** go back to *** *** *** and request them to book the vacation that was sold to her or refund the money that they collected by *** *** *** since the Travel Center cannot and will not provide a refund for money paid to another companySince the online access codes that were purchase by the Travel Center were used no refund can be issued for the fees paid to the Travel CenterSincerely,

PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR FUN TIMES VACATIONS. They will scam you out of your money. The Travel Center will offer you a great deal on a vacation but Fun Time Vacations is responsible to booking your reservations. This company will find every reason not to book your trip at the amount the Travel Center sold you. If you try to re-book they will find another reason why they can't book the trip then tell told you you can't book an other vacation and keep your money.

Dear [redacted],After reading the letter to your agency from [redacted] and pulling her file this is the steps that need to be taken. In [redacted]s Letter she stated that she was told that the Travel Center was a booking agency. This leads me to believe she is upset with the...

fist company that sent her to our company. I have enclosed copies of documents that [redacted] signed that will clear up her concern. It also covers our email correspondence to and from [redacted].1. On the first document that [redacted] sent in with her activation payment it clearly states to activate your vacation program. This is for the activation and processing of the vacation program. The Travel Center is only responsible for providing you with the proper vacation vouchers and is not responsible for the advertisement of this product.2. On the second document that [redacted] signed it covers that the customer will need to contact the booking company. This promotion is for nonpeak season travel with Monday and Tuesday departures. Travel times and departure dates may be bypassed with the knowledge that this violates your promotional offer and will subject you to a possible surcharge. [redacted] choses to book during peak season and not to travel on the Monday or Tuesday departure dates she chose July 25 thru July 28, 2014 which falls on a Friday. On the two signed documents it covers our refund policy.3. On the third document provided it shows our conversations and email to [redacted] and the outcome of her concerns. We attempted to assist her with. Once the customer is dealing with the booking company the Travel Center cannot help. [redacted] stated that the booking company had not contacted her form a week ago. On document 4 is the correspondence that [redacted] had with the booking company they are still waiting on her reply for the new travel dates to lower the cost. We requested these from the booking company in an attempt to assist [redacted].5. On our email correspondence we covered her refund request questions. Please instruct [redacted] to respond to the email form the booking company further assistance. Here at the Travel Center we make every attempt to ensure customers know the steps that are involved in booking their vacations. We just cannot insure that the customer will read the documents before signing them and sending them to our office. No further correspondence is required from our office.Sincerely,

July 17, 2014 Dear [redacted],Our office received a letter concerning **. [redacted] after reading the complaint and pulling the file this is our response. Here at the Travel Center we do not advertise, sell or do promotions. We do not have extensions in our office nor do we have a [redacted]...

employed here. The conversation as to the dates of her [redacted] trip must have been with the company that the vacation package was purchased from. None of our documentation have the heading “You are only steps away from your dream vacation”. Please ask **. [redacted] to check that email it was not from the Travel Center it was from the company she purchased from.I have enclosed documents for your files. One is a personal letter from **. [redacted] asking us to mail all the vouchers to her address and thanking us for being kind and answering her questions. This is why I believe she has the two companies confused. The second document covers the issues of the sale, advertisement of the product that was purchased. Please note this was signed by **. [redacted]. The third document covers the booking companies requirements and refund policy. The last document is signed by **. [redacted] as well this is the document that was sent in to order the vacation booking documents. Please note the highlighted portion. This should have made **. [redacted] aware that no date is guaranteed until the booking company gives confirmation. “Please remember that 90 day advanced notice is required for all of these vacations. Please remember that no destination or date is guaranteed and re vacation is booked until you receive official travel documents and itinerary from the booing company. The bonus vacation you have chosen is separate from the Travel Center and is not a Travel Center Product. This bonus vacation will be handled by the chosen vacation provider. The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased from. If you have any questions about the package please call that company. Once Travel Documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center. As to the desired settlement that amount requested that amount was not paid to the Travel Center this is another reason I believe this complaint was sent to the wrong company. Since the travel documents have been received the Travel Center has no idea if travel was arranged since we are not the booking company. Since the Travel Center has fulfilled our part this complaint I believe it should be close and forward to the company the purchase was from.Sincerely,

Dear [redacted],On May 26, 2015 [redacted] was refunded the $138.00 for the Cabo vacation. [redacted] finally followed my directions and sent the email to our refund department the refund was processed immediately as stated in my letter. It seems no matter how many time I have tried to explain that we do not advertise, mail out or sell anything to anyone. So whatever flyer [redacted] is speaking about in her letter must have come from [redacted]. We are not affiliated with [redacted] we are an Independent company. This should close the case as satisfied since the refund was provided. No further communication is required from the Travel Center and none will be forthcoming.Sincerely, The Accounting Department

Dear [redacted],In reading the complaint letter and pulling [redacted] file these are the documents we have on file and the answer to her questions. On or before March 25, 2014 we received [redacted]s activation fee of $414.00 for 6 people for airfare vouchers. One...

of our customer service reps called [redacted] to go over the guide lines of our bonus vacation vouchers. The note from our agent states [redacted] fully understood and is faxing a letter. Once we received the fax letter stating that the 6 would go together and that the other vouchers would be gifts we processed the activation fee.On April 1, 2014 we received the booking information needed form along with another letter stating that she understood that the Travel Center could not guarantee that all travelers could travel together. She once again asked for all the vouchers to be sent to her address so she could give them as a gift not to use them all together.
On one of the signed document it goes over the booking company's very explicit instructions on the terms and conditions of the vacation vouchers. Also covers payments requirements and if they are voided due to customer error you cannot be reissued another voucher or any money collected by the Travel Center cannot be refunded. The other signed document covers some vacations are for two travelers only. Additional passengers can be added at the time of booking for some vacations. This is why a customer rep from our office called and we have two letters from [redacted] stating that she would give them away as gifts not have combined them.
We made every attempt to explain the procedure to [redacted] to have all three vouchers in different names and addresses that each voucher is only good for two travelers and additional travelers can be added at the time of booking, but if she attempted to submit them all together we could not insure the booking company would allow it. That is why we requested this in writing the terms and conditions were signed and faxed in with her booking needed form.[redacted] has been sent to another booking company. [redacted] cannot continue to request travel documents from different agencies and get a refund.Sincerely,

Dear [redacted],In reading the rejection response from [redacted] and pull the file nowhere in my first response did I say or suggest that [redacted] did not pay [redacted]. In my response I stated that [redacted] had to purchase the access codes from the booking company for [redacted] to access their booking site. I also clarified there refund policy that [redacted] accepted to receive the vacation quote that no refund could be given once quote was received.
I am truly sorry that [redacted] did not make the bonus vacation restrictions more clearly to [redacted] prior to attending the presentation. [redacted] is not the company that put on that presentation nor are we [redacted]. Once [redacted] received his quote from the booking company there cannot be any refunds since the funds paid to [redacted] were paid to the booking company for the access codes [redacted] used to receive his vacation quote. [redacted] chose dates that were not within the guidelines of what was presented to [redacted] at the presentation so the booking company only quoted [redacted] what he requested. In the Terms and Conditions of [redacted] for that was submitted to [redacted] gave the flight restrictions prior to sending [redacted] any funds to get access to the booking site. I would suggest that [redacted] contact [redacted] or the company that gave the presentation with his concerns of the advertisement and exploitation of the product he was given. [redacted] has fulfilled all of our obligations to [redacted] per his request.
Sincerely,
Donna

Dear [redacted]After pulling [redacted] file and reading the letter I have made copies of the signed documents that[redacted] sent to the Travel Center. All of the issue that has been brought up in his letter to your agencyhas already been explained to [redacted] via...

email.| do not know how the Travel Center can explain this any clearer to [redacted] or any of our customers, as stated on the signed documents “This is for the activation and processing of the vacation program. The Travel Center is only responsible for providing you with the proper vacation vouchers, and is not responsible for the sale or advertisement of this product. If you have any questions regarding the purchase of your vacation program please contact the company that you purchased it from.” “This promotion is for non-peak season travel with Tuesday and Wednesday departure. Once travel documents and booking codes are ORDERED and PURCHASED by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center. The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it from. If you have any questions about the package please call that company. All vacation and pricing are subject to change without notice prior to confirmed booking. There is no contract for goods or services created between the Travel Center and [redacted]. Any problems or complaints between you and the seller / promotional company regarding other promotions not contained in your promotional brochure must be address with the seller / promotional company only, and are not the responsibility of the Travel Center.[redacted] is upset with First Select Travel for the advertising issues in his letter, and for not explaining what he purchased in more detail for him. Once again the Travel Center has no knowledge of what was purchased or given to any of our clients. I also know that on the website to the booking companies we use have the terms and conditions outlined, and all customers must click to agree to the terms and conditions prior to being able to submit a vacation request. [redacted] has a year to book another vacation with the booking codes he was issued. [redacted] can chose any of the vacations that the booking companies offer if he so chooses.I suggest that [redacted] go back to [redacted] if the agent that sold him the package is not available ask for a manager. I suggest that [redacted] should get them to book the vacation they sold him and promised him since the online service we provided could not assist him for the price he was given from [redacted]. I just wish that customer would read the documents and if they do not understand call our customer service department for clarification prior to signing and sending in the vacation requests.Sincerely,[redacted]Donna Comptroller

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  Note the address of [redacted] Travel is the same address as The Travel Center. This is a Bait and Switch Scam with The Travel Center now blaming [redacted] Travel for what happened.  The Travel Center Costumer Service was advice that the costumer was taking the next step as instructed to activate an All Inclusive Vacation.  A price was communicated to The Travel Center.  At this time, it would have been the duty of The Travel Center to state this business could not provide the services quoted.  The Business Scam will continue since the The Travel Center will be in Business with the next Vacation Reservation Center and then claim the business is not responsible for advertisement or services verbally quoted.   Note [redacted] Travel has a virtual office in New Mexico but is also using the same address in Clarksburg, MD.  The Trade Center has been informed and hopefully the Revdex.com in Maryland can combine resources with the Revdex.com in Southwest New Mexico to bring justice.

Dear [redacted],
After reading [redacted] rejection letter since no new questions or concerns have been asked for the Travel Center to answer our reply is basically go back and read my first correspondence to find the answers you are seeking. It has become very clear now that [redacted] still does not know the difference between the companies. [redacted] continues to request the Travel Center to refund funds that were not collected by the Travel Center. The documentation the [redacted] supplied your agency is not from the Travel Center. I guess [redacted] has difficulty in understanding or deciphering company's names or remembering which company sent her what. So once again the Travel Center is being blamed for other company's responses, quotes and or non-responses.
With that being said The Travel Center has answered all the questions asked by [redacted]. The Travel Center has supplied written and signed documentation from [redacted] to stand behind my explanation of what truly happened between the Travel Center and [redacted]. No further correspondence is required from the Travel Center and none will be forth coming. Please refer [redacted] to [redacted] for the $1,495.00 she is seeking to be refunded. Since [redacted] is the company that sold [redacted] the product. Please remind [redacted] that she refused to follow the guidelines / restrictions once again that was her choice not the Travel Centers for her not to follow the program and chose to upgrade her vacation.
Sincerely,
The Accounting Department

Hello [redacted],After reading the letter from your office concerning [redacted] and pulling his file we received the Reservation Center Official Vacation Booking form by at the bottom [redacted] was requesting a refund for $188.00. We attempted twice to email [redacted]...

[redacted] concerning his request to explain that the refund requested amount was never paid to [redacted].I believe [redacted] has our company confused with the company that gave [redacted] our information. We do not advertise or sell anything we are just the booking company that assigned [redacted] the booking codes to go on line to book the vacation of his choice. Please forward [redacted] request for the refund to the company that those funds were paid to for his settlement.Sincerely, Donna

August 12, 2014
Dear [redacted],After reading the letter and pulling [redacted]s file this is what documentation we have on record. On 4-22-2014 our office received two checks from [redacted] for $98.00 each for two different vacations. On May 20 2014 we sent [redacted] the booking...

documents via certified mail. On June 20, 2014 we sent out the second set of booking documents via certified mail. On July 29, 2014 [redacted] emailed our office for a refund.I have enclosed all the documents in her file that I will be explaining including the email correspondence. In the email correspondence requested a refund we went over the signed documents with her. That once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center. In the letter to your office it is stating that if we cannot provide her with a vacation it is not their fault. The booking documents were sent to [redacted] if she could not fill out the documents correctly and follow their directions and the vacation booking documents were voided that is not the Travel Centers fault. Please see the signed document from [redacted] that gave her notice of this fact that no refund would be given in this event. So as you can see the Travel has been answering the emails that in the letter [redacted] stated we were not doing.
On July 31, 2014 [redacted] email our office requesting to be assigned to another booking company and would withdraw the refund request. 8-5-2015 the new Booking information Form was sent to [redacted] to fill our and send to our office. When we received the new forms for the new booking company our customer service representative noticed that the forms were altered by [redacted]. On August 6, 2014 one of our customer service representative called [redacted] to explain that our documents could not be altered and that she could fax a new set of unaltered documents to our office or we could not send her to the online booking company she requested. Well let's just say that [redacted] was not happy that she could not alter the documents to her satisfaction more threats came from [redacted] as you can read in her emails to our office.
Here at the Travel Center we are making every attempt to assist [redacted] in getting the vacation of her choice. The documents that need to be signed cannot be altered. [redacted] either agrees to the terms and conditions as set forth in those documents or the Travel Center cannot send her the booking company's. Please keep in mind that the Travel Center does not have to send [redacted] to another booking company since her booking documents to the first company was voided. I believe that [redacted] wants to alter the next booking company document so that the same issue does not come up for a refund once she gets that company to void her request.
Since the Travel Center has made every attempt to assist [redacted] in getting the vacation of her choice and [redacted] refuses to follow the instructions set forth in the booking process the Travel Center cannot assist [redacted] any further. Please close this case and instruct [redacted] of her options to either fill out the new booking company documents unaltered so that we can send the online booking codes. No further communication is required from the Travel Center since we have made every attempt possible in [redacted]s case. No refund will be issued since the booking documents were purchased from the Travel Center per [redacted] request so there is no fund to refund to [redacted].Sincerely,Donna

March 19, 2015
Dear [redacted],
After reading the letter and pulling [redacted] file it is clear that the company that sent the fax to [redacted] was [redacted] not the Travel Center. The Travel Center does not advertise, sell or promote our company to the general...

public. We are the company that assigns clients to discounted booking companies. In the documents I have enclosed you will see that this is outlined in several of the signed documents that [redacted] sent our company along with our refund policy.[redacted] only paid the Travel Center $276.00 on the form that [redacted] sent our office along with her payment it states “This is for the activation and process of the vacation program. The Travel Center is only responsible for providing you with the proper vacation vouchers, and is not responsible for the sale or advertisement of this product. If you have any questions regarding the purchase of your vacation program please contact the company that you purchased it from”. Please note that [redacted] signed that document. Since the Travel Center is not the company that this bonus vacation program was purchased from we have no knowledge of what was purchased or for how many people or the costs involved. The Travel Center has hundreds of company's nationwide that send their clients to us to assign discounted booking companies to them from realtors, sports organizations, dry cleaners and car dealerships to mention a few.On the second document that [redacted] signed and faxed in was the Booking Information Needed form. On that document it covers “This promotion is for nonpeak season travel with Tues and Wednesdays departures. The travel time and departure dates may be bypassed with the knowledge that this violates your promotional offer and will subject you to a possible surcharge. Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of the fees collected by the Travel Center”. This could be why [redacted] has not requested a refund from our company. All refund requests need to be sent to TCWWCustomerService@[redacted].com email address for that department to assess.
Since [redacted] is the company that made the sale and quoted [redacted] on the cost of the vacation they sold [redacted] should go back to them and request them to book the vacation she purchased and received the quote for. It is possible that [redacted] was sent to the Travel Center by mistake and [redacted] should have booked her in house.Sincerely,
Donna
