June 1, Dear [redacted] ***,After reading [redacted] rejection letter still nothing has changed other than she was with in the daysI misread the paper work that was with her file, but she was traveling as stated in my letter during Peak Travel seasonSince ***, from [redacted] quoted [redacted] the cost for their vacation it should have been booked at the time the quote was provided by ***The cost for cruises, airfares and hotels change hourly and daily depending on availability that is one of the reasons the booking company can only hold a quote for hoursThe price that [redacted] gave [redacted] was probably the price at the time she spoke to [redacted] at [redacted] .Here at the Travel Center we do not give quotes since we are not a booking company [redacted] has one year to request another quote from the booking companyI can be for a different vacation, destination or the same vacationI suggest that [redacted] call our customer service department prior to submitting her request form to find out the restrictions and guideline to follow to receive the best discounted vacation offer for any destination or vacation she choosesPeak travel times and seasons are different for each destination and vacationVegas and Hawaii have the shortest amount of Non-Peak travel times available.| suggest that [redacted] go back to [redacted] at [redacted] and have him book the vacation at the price he quotedOr request the refund she is seeking since that amount was not collected by the Travel CenterThe booking company only provided [redacted] the quote that was available at the time she submitted the request to them.Sincerely, The Accounting Department

After reading Ms [redacted] letter and pulling her file this is what was foundIn Ms [redacted] letter she states she paid the Travel Center $that payment was not made to our companyThe only payment we received was mailed into our office from Ms [redacted] on November 13, check # *** in the amount of $I would suggest that Ms [redacted] look at the check for $and $to see to whom it was made payable to since it was over the telephoneHere at the Travel Center we do not accept or process telephone paymentsWe also do not have sales people nor do we have extensions in our office and I have never heard of a Xavier.As Ms [redacted] stated in her letter our office attempted to explain that the refund she is seeking cannot be refunded by the Travel Center since our office only collected $Here at the Travel Center we do not sell, promote anythingI am sorry that Ms [redacted] does not remember to whom she paid the money toThe Travel Center offered her a partial refund of the fees we collectedMs [redacted] has turned down the partial refund from our company in hopes of receiving a refund that was not paid to our company.Please have Ms [redacted] file a complaint with the company that those fees were paid toThe Travel Center cannot be expected to refund money that was not paid to our companySince a partial refund of $was offered to Ms [redacted] in good faith when in fact the documents that Ms [redacted] signed it states that The Travel Center does not give refunds once codes are issuedIn Ms [redacted] 's letter she states her code was received.Once this case is closed and Ms [redacted] responds to the email accepting the partial refund one will be issuedUntil this case is closed and the partial refund is accepted her file is put on holdNo further correspondence is required from the Travel Center since the refund was offered but rejected.Sincerely, Donna Comptroller

July 17, Dear [redacted] ***,Our office received a letter concerning ** [redacted] after reading the complaint and pulling the file this is our responseHere at the Travel Center we do not advertise, sell or do promotionsWe do not have extensions in our office nor do we have a *** employed hereThe conversation as to the dates of her [redacted] trip must have been with the company that the vacation package was purchased fromNone of our documentation have the heading “You are only steps away from your dream vacation”Please ask ** [redacted] to check that email it was not from the Travel Center it was from the company she purchased from.I have enclosed documents for your filesOne is a personal letter from ** [redacted] asking us to mail all the vouchers to her address and thanking us for being kind and answering her questionsThis is why I believe she has the two companies confusedThe second document covers the issues of the sale, advertisement of the product that was purchasedPlease note this was signed by ** [redacted] The third document covers the booking companies requirements and refund policyThe last document is signed by ** [redacted] as well this is the document that was sent in to order the vacation booking documentsPlease note the highlighted portionThis should have made ** [redacted] aware that no date is guaranteed until the booking company gives confirmation“Please remember that day advanced notice is required for all of these vacationsPlease remember that no destination or date is guaranteed and re vacation is booked until you receive official travel documents and itinerary from the booing companyThe bonus vacation you have chosen is separate from the Travel Center and is not a Travel Center ProductThis bonus vacation will be handled by the chosen vacation providerThe Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that companyOnce Travel Documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center.As to the desired settlement that amount requested that amount was not paid to the Travel Center this is another reason I believe this complaint was sent to the wrong companySince the travel documents have been received the Travel Center has no idea if travel was arranged since we are not the booking companySince the Travel Center has fulfilled our part this complaint I believe it should be close and forward to the company the purchase was from.Sincerely,

March 19, Dear [redacted] ***, After reading the letter and pulling [redacted] file it is clear that the company that sent the fax to [redacted] was [redacted] not the Travel CenterThe Travel Center does not advertise, sell or promote our company to the general publicWe are the company that assigns clients to discounted booking companiesIn the documents I have enclosed you will see that this is outlined in several of the signed documents that [redacted] sent our company along with our refund policy[redacted] only paid the Travel Center $on the form that [redacted] sent our office along with her payment it states “This is for the activation and process of the vacation programThe Travel Center is only responsible for providing you with the proper vacation vouchers, and is not responsible for the sale or advertisement of this productIf you have any questions regarding the purchase of your vacation program please contact the company that you purchased it from”Please note that [redacted] signed that documentSince the Travel Center is not the company that this bonus vacation program was purchased from we have no knowledge of what was purchased or for how many people or the costs involvedThe Travel Center has hundreds of company's nationwide that send their clients to us to assign discounted booking companies to them from realtors, sports organizations, dry cleaners and car dealerships to mention a few.On the second document that [redacted] signed and faxed in was the Booking Information Needed formOn that document it covers “This promotion is for nonpeak season travel with Tues and Wednesdays departuresThe travel time and departure dates may be bypassed with the knowledge that this violates your promotional offer and will subject you to a possible surchargeOnce travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of the fees collected by the Travel Center”This could be why [redacted] has not requested a refund from our companyAll refund requests need to be sent to TCWWCustomerService@***.com email address for that department to assessSince [redacted] is the company that made the sale and quoted [redacted] on the cost of the vacation they sold [redacted] should go back to them and request them to book the vacation she purchased and received the quote forIt is possible that [redacted] was sent to the Travel Center by mistake and [redacted] should have booked her in house.Sincerely, Donna Comptroller

In reading over the letter that you have provided containing Mr***'s complaint we have noted a few issues to address and will do our best to cover these issues in our responseIt seems that one of Mr***'s main complaints seems to be that he was told he would only be responsible for a certain amount of fees on the voucher that he returned to our companyUnfortunately this information is highly confusing to us because it states the following on the documentation that Mr [redacted] filled out, signed and returned to us with his activation fee; “Travelers are responsible for all government taxes, activation and booking feesTaxes and fees for these vacations depend on length and season of Travel" This is the first sentence under the "General Provisions Regarding Vacation Packages" on the back of the document that Mr [redacted] returned filled out and signed to our companyThis information has been copied from Mr [redacted] file, highlighted and included for your convenienceWe here at the Travel Center are confused because at no point on this voucher does it state a specified vacation price, in fact it states that Mr [redacted] will be responsible for more than the activation feeWe are sorry if Mr [redacted] is confused by the email he received containing the information to be sent to the booking company so that he may register with the booking company and send in the booking fee but please note that it states specifically in the above referenced quote that Mr [redacted] would be responsible for a booking fee as well as the activation feeIt is not our job at the Travel Center to make sure that Mr [redacted] has read these terms and conditions before signing and returning the filled out document with his activation feeMr [redacted] second major complaint is that he was having a hard time contacting our company, for this we do apologizeUnfortunately our customer service representatives happen to be busy all hours of the business day So if at any time it is hard to get through or the busy message is reached the recording does give the customer service email address for convenience so that the customer does not have to constantly continue to call, it does not seem that at any time after Mr***e received his activation email or his "VRC Welcome Letter" email sending him to the booking company that he sent us an emailWe have checked our records for thisUnfortunately this means that at no point would we have known Mr [redacted] was having a hard time getting through nor would we have known he was having a problem so that we could try to address or explain the process for his better understandingIt seems Mr [redacted] last issue within his complaint is that he believes the "Tactics and policies utilized by the persons giving these seminars" are immoral and unethicalWe would like to apologize for this believe that Mr [redacted] has, unfortunately we are not the company that puts on the seminar that Mr [redacted] went to nor do we have anything to do with these seminars as it plainly states on the "Booking Information Needed" form that Mr [redacted] signed and returned to our company on 7/5/It states the following; "The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that company" This directly shows that We do not sell or advertise any products, if Mr [redacted] would like to discuss the advertisement of the product he received to go to the seminar he would need to contact the company that held the seminarIn conclusion Mr***e states that he wishes his activation see refundedWith further investigation into his file all of the above provided information showing that Mr***'s entire reason for wanting a refund seems that he thought he was not to pay any more funds after the activation, we will not be able to provide his refund to himEvery document that Mr [redacted] received and sent to our company shows that this information is not accurate, it states specifically in the above quoted information that Mr [redacted] would be responsible for more fees We are sorry that Mr [redacted] seemed to not read the information on the voucher he received before sending it in, unfortunately once again we must state that it's not our job to make sure that Mr [redacted] reads a document before filling it out and returning itWe here at the Travel Center do our best to make sure all information is given upfront before the customer begins the processPlease note that on the "Booking Information Needed" form that Mr [redacted] filled out and returned to our company on 7/5/it states the following refund policy; "Once Travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center” Once Mr [redacted] returned his "Booking Information Needed" form, those codes and documents were purchased and emailed to Mr [redacted] on 77/to which on 7/7/he filled out the registration form online and submitted it on the website with the booking companyMr [redacted] also states that he completed this step by referencing the amount of the booking fee that he is to send to the booking company within his complaintThis means that at this time we have no obligation to return Mr***'s fundsWe are sorry for the inconvenience to Mr***, if at any time he had questions pertaining to the process or about any funds that he would be responsible for he should have contacted the customer service phone line or emailBoth are provided to each and every customer as a contact optionSincerely, The Travel Center Staff

December 26, Dear [redacted] ***,In reading the rejection response from [redacted] and pull the file nowhere in my first response did I say or suggest that [redacted] did not pay [redacted] ***In my response I stated that [redacted] had to purchase the access codes from the booking company for [redacted] to access their booking siteI also clarified there refund policy that [redacted] accepted to receive the vacation quote that no refund could be given once quote was receivedI am truly sorry that [redacted] did not make the bonus vacation restrictions more clearly to [redacted] prior to attending the presentation [redacted] is not the company that put on that presentation nor are we [redacted] ***Once [redacted] received his quote from the booking company there cannot be any refunds since the funds paid to [redacted] were paid to the booking company for the access codes [redacted] used to receive his vacation quote [redacted] chose dates that were not within the guidelines of what was presented to [redacted] at the presentation so the booking company only quoted [redacted] what he requested.In the Terms and Conditions of [redacted] for that was submitted to [redacted] gave the flight restrictions prior to sending [redacted] any funds to get access to the booking siteI would suggest that [redacted] contact [redacted] or the company that gave the presentation with his concerns of the advertisement and exploitation of the product he was given [redacted] has fulfilled all of our obligations to [redacted] per his requestSincerely, Donna

June 30, Dear [redacted] ***,In reading the complaint letter and pulling [redacted] file these are the documents we have on file and the answer to her questions.On or before March 25, we received [redacted] ***s activation fee of $for people for airfare vouchersOne of our customer service reps called [redacted] to go over the guide lines of our bonus vacation vouchersThe note from our agent states [redacted] fully understood and is faxing a letterOnce we received the fax letter stating that the would go together and that the other vouchers would be gifts we processed the activation fee.On April 1, we received the booking information needed form along with another letter stating that she understood that the Travel Center could not guarantee that all travelers could travel togetherShe once again asked for all the vouchers to be sent to her address so she could give them as a gift not to use them all togetherOn one of the signed document it goes over the booking company's very explicit instructions on the terms and conditions of the vacation vouchersAlso covers payments requirements and if they are voided due to customer error you cannot be reissued another voucher or any money collected by the Travel Center cannot be refundedThe other signed document covers some vacations are for two travelers onlyAdditional passengers can be added at the time of booking for some vacationsThis is why a customer rep from our office called and we have two letters from [redacted] stating that she would give them away as gifts not have combined themWe made every attempt to explain the procedure to [redacted] to have all three vouchers in different names and addresses that each voucher is only good for two travelers and additional travelers can be added at the time of booking, but if she attempted to submit them all together we could not insure the booking company would allow itThat is why we requested this in writing the terms and conditions were signed and faxed in with her booking needed form[redacted] has been sent to another booking company [redacted] cannot continue to request travel documents from different agencies and get a refund.Sincerely, Donna Comptroller

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The Travel Center's most recent response is ridiculous and a classic case of passing the buck My complaint is with The Travel Center .obviously, several letters over now, my concern is with receiving my money back and the check was written to The Travel Center, not to the company who presentedClaiming that they no longer have the funds is laughable They are a company taking in similar funds of unsuspecting, trusting people like us every day and certainly they can come up with $to make this right The Travel Center received signed documents from us with clarification in writing by us on both documents that we needed information on the details of our costs first When they finally answered their phones, they told us that the booking company could give us that information, but did not clarify that, by the time they gave us contacts with the booking company, it would be too late to get our initial money back It is clearly a black and white issue that The Travel Center cannot answer to adequately because they know they are deceiving many others in this same way This case should not be closed The Travel Company needs to refund this money Why is this so difficult They are quite aware of their wrongdoing and passing it off as someone else's problem A simple refund check is all that is asked It is OK to admit and apologize for wrongdoing, or call it a mistake, either way Their company's integrity seems like it would be worth that much Regards, [redacted] ***
