The issues the customer is having are not covered by our warranty. However, as a customer service gesture, we have scheduled an appointment with the customer to resolve their issues.

The customer removed the gate from the post.We would never agree to the removal of the gates from the posts annually and recommend the customer keeps them on.The warranty on gates are 90 days from the install date.However we are sending an installer over anyway to try and correct the issue

Mr [redacted] install was in 2009 and has been fine through many Winters. As explained already and in full detail this past winter had a small percentage of jobs with water in the ground that caused heaving issues when major freezing occurred and caused some poles to move.because of the unrealistic depth of frost this year. This should be covered by insurance.However that's up to the customer to pursuit. As far as saying all this stuff happened on install would have been mentioned to [redacted] and would have been mentioned in the original complaint filed. We as a company understand this winters damage imposed to many peoples properties on many outdoor items from old to new regardless of the company who installed it and we understand these weather conditions  can be frustrating. 
Unfortunatley we cant repair this particular Job free of charge. The customer verbally agreed to a price and then backed out last minute and Sent in his now second complaint to the Bureau. We will still honor the repair price of $2000 and take an additional $500 off as customer service in good faith. As far as the deck it was a composite deck made by Trex that was installed in 2009.We didn't start to install the all vinyl PVC until late 2009 at the time we felt this was one the best available out there. This also reflects in price as the all PVC is much more expensive.. Mr [redacted] can contact Trex if need be as this is the first we are hearing about this.However Trex does not cover fade on there composite materials like the PVC manufactures do.Trex says it does not hurt the performance of there product. they do have remedies for fade however Mr Godson will have to call the customer service line and speak to a trex representative.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not see where anything was resolved but I am done with my complaint BUT only because I have no financial or product claim with The Vinyl Outlet.  This complaint was just about good old fashioned customer service & false advertising which I believe I have validated my points.  Just ONE last point I want to make that started this problem.   If we did not have an original appointment @ noon on July 3rd or a verbal ESTIMATE of $9,600.00 why do I have an e-mail from [redacted] stating exactly - I apologize for [redacted] MISSING the appointment due to being sick.   Now I definitely understand why there were at least 20 complaints in 3 years/ 9 just in the last year against THE Vinyl Outlet on the Revdex.com.org website.

The warranty does not cover changes and shifting in the ground, especially those caused by the extreme temperature we experienced during the 2015-2016 winter. The customer has agreed to a paid repair and is scheduled for this week.
