We returned home yesterday (07/24) to find our A/C was no longer working, and it was at the worst possible time: in the middle of a heat wave with average heat indexes of between 101 and 105 degrees (F).
Great.
That situation didn't last very long, though, as David B. w/Blanton's Heating & Air came through for us today like he always has in the past when we've had issues with our system. His inspection of our system indicated we had a blown capacitor, and David explained all of the details of the repair to me in addition to some other history of that kind of part I was not aware of.
When he was done, our home was getting cool again, and we thank David and Blanton's for the consistent levels of support and professionalism they show us during every visit. 105 degrees indoors is no joke, and they treated our situation with the urgency it deserved.
I would recommend Blanton's to anyone looking for top-quality HVAC repair and diagnostic services. They've never let us down!
I recently worked with Blanton's Heating and A/C. I had an issue with my unit registering low Freon when in fact the system did have enough Freon. They came out assessed the situation, and corrected the problem. The initial determination was to add Freon but that didn't correct the problem. When they determined the cause of the problem they credited us the amounts we had already paid towards the final cost. Blanton's has always been straightforward and forthright with me as a customer. Matt, Nick, Stephanie, and others were great! I highly recommend Blanton's for any and all heating and a/c work.
Recently contacted Blanton's for Summer tune up on my HVAC system. Requested early morning appointment. James the service tech arrived on time and was very professional. James demonstrated how to reset my change filter warning light on thermostat. James finished quickly allowing me to move on with my day. Daniel [redacted] came out to service our AC unit. He did an awesome job! He was very kind and was very informative during the service call. He recommended something I should install to prevent the same sitation from happening again in the event of a storm. I have been using this company for almost 8 years now and have never had any issues. Thanks to Jackie at the office for trying to get a technician out asap and for working around my schedule. I highly recommend others to use this company.

Their team took the extra time to show and explain my heating and A/C problems in my home in terms that I could easily understand. One of the team members - Richard W - checked my system completely and provided an expert assessment. Just simply based on the professional team I have had the pleasure of encountering today - I would rate them at the top of any list of heating and A/C businesses in North Carolina.

Blanton's customer service quickly scheduled me an appointment and had a technician at my home tge same day. The technician was courteous and professional. He answered all of my questions and asked if I had anymorw before departing. He ensured I was completely satisfied with the service.
This year's spring cleaning on both of my Lennox systems was accomplished by David [redacted] David was a delight to deal with. He called prior to his visit, arrived on time, and was very courtious throughout the time he spent here. He went over everything he was going to do and answered all my questions. David's visit continued with the same standards that Blanton's has showed me since purchasing both of my systems. Two thumbs up!
Last year I switched to Blanton's after a series of negative experiences with a competitor. The other outfit was less expensive than Blanton's but it was a case of getting what you pay for. I have had nothing but stellar, knowledgeable, and prompt service from Blanton's. They cost more than the previous outfit, but its worth every penny! CK
This is the second time we have used Blanton's Heating and Air. Both experiences have been top notch. Our technician was professional, pleasant, and knowledgable. He listened to our concerns and plans for the home and gave wonderful recommendations.
So this company is just the best!! First my air conditioner went out on the evening of June 23 and I tried to have other companies come out and give me an estimate after Blanton's had come out a couple months before and we knew what the cost of a new one from them would be, however Friday none of the companies I called showed up and come four in the afternoon with a six month old at home I called Tim K. to see what we could do just to have a new one installed. He was awesome and was at my house in 20 minutes we went back and did a whole new estimate, and scheduled the appointment today. Tim K. Rocks just so you know and he is as honest as they come. I just didn't select his name. So today, the 28th Ernest and Steve K. came out to install the new system. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to do it because it had started to rain, however they had a tent they put up over the new system and were still able to get it installed. They were both extremely nice and new what they were doing. The new system was installed very quickly, they got here around 845 and were done around 130. They made sure everything was working, they were very organized and cleaned up as they went and after they finished. I am glad that the other companies around here are so flakey because I feel like these three guys are the best of the best. Thank you for being so quick.
