I submitted a claim for a clogged sewer line and it has been two full days and NO contact from either SLW or a plumberI checked the status of the claim on the website and it said there were no claims pendingThis is the second time I've submitted a claim in the last year, and this exact thing happened then as wellMight as well get used to having sewage either in your house or in your back yard if you decide to use this "warranty" serviceTerrible!

We are very sorry that this moving experience was not a positive one. We accepted responsibility immediately and have already resolved the said issues. Items that were damaged have been repaired by a third party vendor. We have also performed a free moving service (estimated
value of $670) to offset the customer's dissatisfaction of service. I performed an on-site home inspection and brought it to the customer's attention, that most of her alleged claims were pre-existing damage. A third party vendor also confirmed this. Please accept our apology, as we feel this matter was resolved and closed

Run far far awayI found this company since they have partnered with my water company in TucsonI have never received my contactWhen I called up, they told me branch lines weren't coveredI have a guest house and I wouldn't have gotten a sewer line warranty if I had known it wouldn't cover thisThis is useless

Was with this company for over years never used this repair service for exterior sewer and water, was told verbally that if service was never intially used a refund would be given backHad so many issues with their website was one of their premier customers always made the payment a monthNow they are changing their name and raising prices which I never used the service.I received a letter their changing their name and raising the cost, When I called them and told them I could not afford the hike I either had to pay it or loose my serviceThis company has done this just to keep the consumer money who has not used the service or forces them to pay something they could not affordIt's a scam and pitiful they call themselves insurance , when you were told that if you dont initialize a service call you still loose your moneyI can see it if you used it, never used it and been with them for a period of years and played over dollars

Please be very careful if you plan on using this company They quoted me a rate of $hr then quoted me $hr with men for hrs which was "on the high side" it would probably be less, turned our to be hrs and when I disputed this they told me there was nothing they could do and this was accurate My advice go with a reputable company like *** or ***, at least they come to your home and give you an accurate quote that they guaranteeMoral of this story, live and learn and I will never use this company again

I filed an original complaint on Sept th concerning this company and their serviceI received a phone call from a Kendra G*** on 10/concerning my complaint She offered to help pay for some of my out of pocket expense and send a check for dollars and was going to reply back to your service that this matter had been handled and all party's were satisfied I received the Check on 10/or 10/and deposited in my checking accountI noticed today when I was checking my bank statement that the check had been returned to my bank and I was charged additional fees I called the bank to find out that the check was returned for nonpayment I attempted to contact Kendra at the number I have for her but there was no answer

I hired Two Mean and a Truck for a move Their movers damaged my LCD TVThey will not pay the used price for the TV
I purchased a Samsung LCD TV in (Model Number: UN40B6000VFXZA) Amazon lists the used price for this TV at $ I provided the Amazon link to TMAAT They offered an inferior and much cheaper Samsung TV as a replacement

This complaint was filed under the incorrect TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Franchise TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Chesterfield did not move Ms***'s furniture
But - we've forwarded her complaints and been in touch with Ms*** apologizing for the delay and offering to send her a check for the coverage she's requested ($per pound per item damaged during the move) We're waiting to hear from her as to which address to send the compensation for the damages that occurred during the move

Mrs***, Our franchise Manager has just left a message for you Can you please call him *** his name is *** He will discuss with you the options for reimbursement for your expense to repair the Dresser.Thank you

We have used Two Men and A Truck on several occasions in the relocation of a sister company Every time it was pleasurable experience in dealing with company I would
definitely use them going forward

For the lack of response by Chad *** I am not sure what happened there If she did leave several messages with Chad and he didn't back to her that is an unprofessional representation of our company and it will not happen moving forward
For the other two issues, there is
some sort of misunderstanding that could have been and should have been cleared up right when *** contacted Chad the first time.We did not show up late ***'s move was scheduled for an arrival between 11am-3pm Her crew arrived right at 3pm I attached the pre-move letter containing information regarding the arrival window which was emailed to *** and the original job sheet with the crew's arrival time I also updated *** earlier in the day letting her know that our morning moves were going longer and that the crew wouldn't arrive until later in the arrival window
The running out of product complaint is a little confusing to me We provide a service and the customers move went our minimum Again this is something that could have been cleared up when *** first contacted ChadUnfortunately, Chad ***, is no longer with the New Brighton office so I can't obtain any information from him regarding the issues

Approximately one year ago I signed up with Service Line Warranties for insurance coverage in the event my sewer line needed repair on my property I paid for a year in advance After a year, I decided to no longer use this service I cancelled via a written note to the company A few months later, I decided to rejoin and make monthly payments I started getting late notices when my checks had been cashed When I called the company I was told that they had recently changed their billing procedures and their accounting service was slow After instances of poor billing practices, I again cancelled the service However, I keep getting late notices and the previous checks I sent to them were cashed after or weeks I called again on July 6, and told then to absolutely cancel my service and asked them to stop sending me payment notices

I have been with SLWOA for several years They have switched over to a new billing system that is not at all efficient I pay my bill online monthly and have never been late I started to get a notice I owe back amounts I have called this company no less that different times inquiring about their notice stating if the late payment is not sent in service would terminate I even sent them a bank statement by mail for the past six months showing their bills were paid electronically by my bank and received by SLWOFA Each time I call they tell me they researched my account and have located the problem and it will be corrected and all I have to do is send in the amount on the bill which covered the last two months, which I did My latest bill of 08-28-indicated they did not get this payment so they will stop the service if not paid I checked with my bank, and just as with all the other late payments they allege were not received, the bank said that last bill was received by them over a month ago When I call the representatives tell me they have had problems with their computers since the new switch over and assured me it has been corrected, which, it has not I will try one more time to correct this problem with them This company expects additional payments which were already paid and it is impossible to get them to correct the problems I have paid the extra amounts once just to get all this straightened out, but I will not do it again

I do not however agree with the method of price gouging and adding additional stress on to a move. They are not being truthful about the number of men needed or the number of trucks. The move was completed the next day with the same size truck and two men. The job was finished in its entirety in hours/one day/two men/one truck. Sorry but they need to recognize this is unethical behavior and should be ashamed of taking clear advantage when they were confronted. The project was delayed and extended because of a site supervisor wanting more money from me to complete. I was not under a time constraint and so said no thank you. They wanted to double the cost by adding a driver and then another day to do the job. I am happy that they actually lost money on this job, they are robbing the public by the scam they have going.

I am not satisfied with the response given by Two Men and a TruckAs mentioned in my
initial complaint, I was told that I would be able to dispute charges at a later time through customer service and needed sign the bill of lading/moving contract at the time the move concluded, whether I agreed with the charges or notThis notion was communicated to me by the men performing the moveHad I known that my signature meant I was unable to dispute charges, I would never have signedThis is what I find deceptiveAlso, while I understand the safety concerns of the 26ft truck, I was moved into this very same apartment, with the exact same amount of items, using a 16ft truckThere was ample space in the 16ft truck, and the movers had no difficulty backing the truck into the appropriate place for an efficient moveOf note, the moving services at that time were also provided by Two Men and a TruckSince the 26ft truck was not a necessity, I do not feel it is right that I be billed for the extra time it added to my moveI am happy that this business states they will remedy the incorrect travel charge, however I feel there are many other issues not appropriately addressed

Two Men and a Truck discussed the following options with claimant in accordance with the Illinois Commerce Commission
In regards to the stolen money, we advised claimant to contact the police, and we would comply fully with the law
Claimants response was, she was unsure if we stole the money
Items left behind we chemicals that we can not takeA TV that husband said was not goingA Gym bag that was still secured to a ceiling and we said we had to have that unsecured
In regards to the damage, and in accordance to the ICC, Movers must acknowledge written claims within days and act on them within daysThe mover has the right to inspect the damage and have an approve vendor fix the damage propertyClaimant must not have the damage repaired or replaced before we have the chance to inspect/fix the damage as it will jeopardize the settlementDue to claimants time frame, Two Men and a Truck did offer to write a letter to buyers/realtor that we would be responsible for the damage and getting it fixed by our vendorClaimant took it upon themselves to fix damageClaimant was not at the load and our movers were instructed not to worry about writing up a damage claim as protocol as they were going to handle it internallyWe did our due diligence to see if we could get our vendor out there to fix, but needed the timeIn regards to the damaged furniture that is claimedOur vendor has an appointment set for March to inspect/repair damage that was caused during the moveAs you can see, we are following our guidelines outlined by the IL Commerce Commission who regulates our industryIf claimant has any other questions regarding this, she can contact the ICC at 217-782-and they can instruct further

Nice job with that lie
"Your movers were instructed not to worry about writing up a damage claim"? Wow - first the owner says that a damage claim was written (as it is company policy), can't find it in the file and now you claim we told you not to do it? That is completely laughable, can't even believe you could type itThat is your excuse for not following your own lousy protocol? Even the corporate office stated you failed to follow protocol
By the way, my furniture is not fixedThe company you sent out was unable to repair all of the damage that your outfit did
Two Men and a Truck is a pathetic company that does not stand behind its wordYour motto is "Movers who care" and "THE GRANDMA RULE: To treat everyone the way you would want your Grandma to be treated." Is that how you treat your Grandma - lie and steal from her?
Maybe you should change your name to "Two Thieves and a Truck."
