The two men, [redacted] and [redacted] , that moved me into my 2nd story apt at The Vintage on Yale were absolutely remarkable I have literally never witness individuals with the work ethic, drive and positive attitudes these two guys had I was truly amazed at the high level of quality work they did with smiles and utmost politenessEven when begging them to take a break they both pushed on and exceeded even our highest expectations The move went flawlessly bc of these two and took half the time expected We were so impressed we tried to convince them to come work at our farm but unfortunately for us they love working for this great company Best money I have ever spent

We are sorry your move did not live up to the standards we strive to exceed each dayDuring the course of this move, a few damages did occur However, on the day of the move we called the customer to inquire how the move was going and even did a spot check with one of our managers who checked in on the move Both times we spoke with customer, she praised our guys The following day, we received a call from the customer regarding a few damages and informed us she needed someone to come out that day We had our repairman, who does phenomenal work, stop out and look at the damages Below is a list of how we addressed each damage the customer has mentioned in the complaintOne of damages was a inch tube TV which the customer wanted replaced The TV worked but a little section of plastic had broken off the bottom of the TV We found the exact make and model of this TV for $and offered to replace the TV or send her a check for $ The customer was upset with both options but choose the check Unfortunately, there was a mix up by our company and we dropped off a replacement inch TV at the customer’s house after calling the customer letting them know we were bringing a replacement TV We did not leave the TV in the yard, but left it next to the front door When we went out to drop off the check and pick up both the replacement TV and the slightly damaged TV, the customer admitted the TV was on the porch by the front door and not in the lawn.A corner of the entertainment center was chipped during the move As the customer requested, we sent our repairman out the day she called and fixed the corner of the entertainment system The customer told our repairman she was satisfied with the fix Our repairman wanted to clasp the corner on after he glued it but the customer declined as they were watching TV.Unfortunately, customer’s daughter’s bed was assembled backwards by our movers The issue was diagnosed and the repairman quickly reassembled the bed correctlyThis review was the first time we have heard of a missing spoon, a hole in a BBQ cover, the BBQ being placed in the wrong spot, and the packing issue We have asked our packers about the missing item and they do not know anything about the spoon The vast majority of the packing was done by the customer and we don’t know where any items would be in those boxes On the few boxes we did pack, the customer did not want to pay for packing paper so the movers improvised and used napkins to ensure the items could be transported safely, and cost effectively, for the customer As for the BBQ being placed in the garage, the customer did not ask us to place the BBQ in the backyard so our movers placed the grill in the garage as is typical so it would not be subjected to the elements Additionally, the movers didn’t notice a hole in the cover or they would have brought it up to the customer like they did with the other damages they reportedThe customer stated she called us recently and has not heard from management but we have no record or message from the customer We repaired to the customer’s satisfaction multiple items quickly after this move occurred After receiving this review, we again contacted the customer to address her issues with our move and worked around her schedule to stop by the house The customer was happy for us to stop by with the check and pick up the TVs When we asked if there was anything else we may do to help, they said everything was good We strive to exceed our customer’s expectations each move and we are disappointed we did not make this customer happy However, for the issues we were aware of, we paid over cash value for the TV (and picked up the damaged TV), fixed the entertainment center to the customer’s satisfaction, and rearranged the customer’s bed If there are other issues which need to be addressed, please let us know

Below is the settlement email that was sent to the customer This is being processed by our accounting department today 9/20/ Hello Jasper, I spoke with the managers that have been working on your claim and came to a final settlement amount According to our vendor, Universal Upholstering, the cost of repairing your couch would total $ Jeremy [redacted] then told me he offered you $for other damage and time removed from your bill This would bring the total settlement amount to $ I see that as of now you have an outstanding balance of $from your move Your card ending in only accepted $or your $total What I am having our accounting department do is remove all of your outstanding balance ($513.00) and conisdering your move paid in full This will be considered reimbursement for any damage and time issues experienced during you move Again, we apologize that your move did not take place without incident and aplogize for any inconvenience to you as a result

The day of the move was Saturday March [redacted] we were scheduled to arrive between 2-4pmBecause of weather dely from prior job we were unable to make the desired windowWe called to speak with the customer regarding our time frame and did not receive a call backOnce we received a call it was very late and our crew rescheduled for another dayThe customer was unhappy with this outcome and they called on the next Monday to reschedule for that weekThey only had two windows available after 6:30pm on Tuesday or after 6:30pm on ThursdayIt was out intention to offer a discount and do the moveAfter several attempts to contact the customer we never heard back from them even after the complaint was filed Please contact me if you have further question

The moving team that worked with us (Clarence, Alex and George) was outstandingThe guys were very careful with our things and maintained a very positive attitude even to the bitter endI would have no reservations recommending them or using their services againThey all deserve a raise in our book!

During the first conversation with our CSR a lower estimate was verbally mentioned As the conversations with the CSR continued, more details of the items, and the number of stops increased, there was email correspondence between them stating that there would need to be men which Mr [redacted] responded to They were moving rolling charging carts to different schools in the StLouis public school districtThe estimate was finalized and the move was booked At that time Mr [redacted] was emailed a pre-move letter which included the detail sheet and the amount of the estimate which was for 5-hours with men and truck at $per hour totaling $1050.00-$ Upon arrival for the move it was noted that the carts did have wheels as stated but they were in wooden crates The supervisor did a revision to the estimate changing it to 7-hours because moving them would be more difficult and time consuming The actual move went hours, $1575.00, which was within the revised estimate During regular business hours there 8-customer service representatives and multiple managers on duty to receive calls Later in the day there is at least logistics manager on duty every day to take phone calls from customers or employees until all trucks are back and parked on our lot Mr [redacted] stated that the men worked hard all day and he had no complaints about the work they didAttempts were made to contact him during and after the move Our logistics department did speak with him but were disconnected They spoke with him at another time and have since credited him $on 12/13/for a new total bill of $

We had the best move ever with the crew from Two Men and A TruckFrom the initial call of inquirery, the booking and last but not least the moving team everyone was very pleasant, courteous and helpfulThe moving team worked quickly being very respectful and handled our belongings with great careThey are very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to handle everything

[redacted] attached are the signed job sheets that are signed by you stating that you were aware of our hourly rate and how we charge, it also states that the job was completed and your agreed to paid the amount on the job sheet When you complained with Merchant Services this was explained with them as well [redacted] has spoken to you about this multiple times and we feel we have gone above and beyond to try to satisfy you If you have any other questions or concerns regarding this issue please contact the store at [redacted] or by email at [redacted] Thank you

We scheduled and performed a moving service for the [redacted] 's We received a negative survey from the customer, as they complained that the moving truck was not big enough to fit everything Once the complaint was received, I reached out to the customer to discuss, and explained that our fleet of vehicles are 26' box trucks On move day, we offered to make a second trip to move the overflow items that would not fit, but the customer declined our offer and was focused on keeping the costs as low as possible Mrs [redacted] and I discussed the fact that the cost of the move was billed by the hour, and they made the decision to move the remaining items Customer was only charged for actual time we worked, and no discounts or refunds are warranted

My previous moving experience with another local moving company was absolutely horribleI used the services of Two Men and A Truck and the experience I had was a completely different experience all together The crew was very professional and politeThey took very good care of my thingsTheir attention to detail was on point and they helped me with all my needsI highly recommend Two Men And A Truck to anyone who needs a move completedA++

This is my second time using Two Men and a Truck The first was in Florida years ago and then this week with Avon Ct There is no better moving company I can think of even the big named companies the three men who came to move were orofessionslVery competent and gentle with moving my furniture I cannot say enough wonderful accolades about this companyI would and will always recommend this company for anybody needing to move their belongingsThere should be a rating of A++ for this companyKudos to a well run businessAnd again a special thank you to the three gentlemen that made my move so spectacular

I had purchased a sewer line warranty from Service Line Warranties - as recommended by my local municipality In October - I had a minor backup The contractor that SLW assigned - [redacted] , cabled my sewer line successfully but then did a camera inspection that revealed a break in the line in my front yard Contractor submitted a request to repair my sewer line, telling me that I needed approxfeet of my line replaced and that the work could be done at no out of pocket cost under my warranty Work began in December Contractor mislocated my sewer line and on day of project knocked out my gas line, causing me to evacuate my house and requiring the gas company to dig up more of my yard to fix that break The plumbing contractor left my site at around 1-PM that day On the second day, contractor dug in multiple different locations in the yard trying to find the sewer line unsuccessfully They once again left around 1-PM - stating they were afraid of h

All of our PM jobs are hour arrival windows I am sorry that the arrival time wasn't understood correctly or explained incorrectly The crew wasn't late Nevertheless, the information regarding the wardrobes is valid If the crew didn't have wardrobes they should have called so we could run some out That was a failure on our part All of the trucks are stocked with wardrobes every morning This move was the crews 3rd move of the day and must have sold them to one of their customers earlier in the day [redacted] only paid for two guys but received a 3rd man free of charge to get her job done as quickly as possible This already equaled to a $discount We did this for the guys and the customer I wanted to get the move done quickly for the customer because we didn't arrive until the later part of the window I wanted the crew to have an extra set of hands since it was their 3rd move of the day I am willing to have a conversation with [redacted] regarding us dropping the ball on the wardrobe boxes The total cost of the move was $ Since it doesn't sound like any damage occurred due to how the clothes were moved I can do a %discount for the customer due to the headache we caused I can be reached by email at Joe.***@twomen.com or by phone at ###-###-#### I know [redacted] had trouble reaching Chad, but I am here 7am-5pm Monday through Friday and have no problem getting a check mailed out for the %discount

I am in receipt of the above referenced complaintWe were late for the move, but called ahead with plenty of notice that someone had called outWe sent movers, two of which were seasoned movers and the third was a mover that had only been on a few movesThis individual while new was quite capable and holds many roles within my company, mainly that of a yard managerHowever, one of his jobs is also to fill in should some one call out sick In regards to the damages, I have turned [redacted] 's claim over to my insurance adjusterI just got off the phone with the adjuster and [redacted] has been contacted to create a claimThose repairs are now in process with the insurance company [redacted] was provided an hourly rate at what is called port to port billingAt no time was [redacted] given a guaranteed price as we do not provide guaranteed prices for local moves within DelawareAccording to the movers the move was quite involved, much more than what was originally provided by [redacted] when he scheduled the move My apologies to [redacted] that he was unhappy with his moving services
