Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My issue is that the second move (May 17) was necessary due solely to the business's mistake / overlooking of our household items that were left behind from the originally agreed upon move (May 17) We were contractually obligated to the new owners of the home to be completely moved out of the house by the evening of May I felt compelled to agree to the business's conditions for moving our possessions that they overlooked in the first place.The business's advertising indicates something like "We treat you like we would treat our grandmother." I had used Two Men and a Truck for a local FtWayne move a couple of years ago Their management gave one of the movers my telephone number, and this creepy guy was sending my obscene text messages for over a year after I moved If I blocked his number, he texted from a new one I called the company multiple times, and they informed me that this guy had been fired or otherwise left When I was moving from FtWayne to Toledo, I needed help I was in a wheelchair with two broken ankles I could not find an affordable mover I called Two Men and a Truck, explained my previous experience, and they confirmed that this guy had left the business They were committed to helping They sent a guy out who didn't even bother to walk upstairs, and gave me a $estimate to move all of my stuff Long story short, these movers come in, bulldoze my stuff out of the house, and I drive separately to Toledo They LEFT MY ENTIRE BEDROOM CLOSET, BATHROOM, AND A SEOCD BEDROOM They didn't move it! When I discovered that half of my belongings were MIA, they told me that they would need to charge me another $to deliver them! I was in a wheelchair, so shame on me for not crawling up the stairs to check that they had moved what we agreed to, but honestly! They are completely unprofessional, and they hire ex-cons who stay with them for a few weeks Please BEWARE before you engage this company in doing anything for you! I am filing a claim in Small Claims court to try to recover some of the money that I had to pay a second moving company!

This company sends me a statement every 4-months for a yearly bill They threaten to stop services if I don't pay immidiatly When I call they say that it was an error on their , but continue to send past due notices

On October 3, we were contracted by Dave and Donna [redacted] to move their furniture and personal items for themWhen they arrived at the ***’s location the Movers explained to Mrs [redacted] that if they were to park the truck on the street it would increase the time of her move as the movers would have a longer walk when loading their itemsThey also explained that if they were to park the truck in the driveway the truck would come in contact with the branches of the pine treeThe Movers were told by the customer that it was okay to park in the driveway.During the onsite investigation of the tree damage we measured the distance of 12’ from the tree branch to the edge of the roadThe truck is approx30’ long and if the truck would have stopped in front of the tree the truck itself would have extended into and blocked the road by 18’The boughs from the tree extend to cover almost half way across the drivewayThe driveway is approx10’ wide and the width of the truck is 8’ wideThe truck also is 13’ highThe movers are trained to avoid these situations and that is why the movers explained this to Mrs [redacted] and were prepared to park the truck on the streetOnce they were given permission to back into the driveway they explained that they would come in contact with the tree itself and they would not be able to avoid it.We did request estimates from the nurseries that were contacted to see what would be the outcome of the damage and what would be their recommendation and the cost involvedWe received estimates one to remove the tree and the other to replace the treeWe contacted one of the Nurseries that supplied the estimates and they explained that the damage to the tree is cosmetic and other than for the branch being broken the tree itself is perfectly healthyThey stated they only supplied the estimate that they were requested to doIf there is a cost to repair the tree we accept some responsibility in this matter and have offered to pay for some of the repair when the repair has been completed and we are willing to pay the Nursery involved directly to avoid any inconvenience to Mr and Mrs***Regarding the damage to the bin and the desk we did pay the full cost of the bin as requested by Mr [redacted] rather than follow the protocol of the company to resolve this matter more expediently for themThe movers did acknowledge the damage to the desk and we immediately sent out our Contractor to complete the repair as well.In the spirit of good customer service we have made every attempt to resolving these issues with Mrand Mrs*** We are willing to cover some of the cost involved with a repair to the treeAs stated to us the tree is perfectly healthy and does not require being removed other than to repair and improve its current appearanceOur Movers are trained to follow the instructions of our customers and do what they are requested to do as long as it is being done in a safe manner in order to provide the best service and moving experience for them

Mr [redacted] called in for an estimate to have items moved out of his storage unit (8X10) and stated that he wasn't sure of the inventory The original estwas for 2.5-hours + a travel fee of $($529.00) which was thoroughly explained by the customer service representative to him and was noted in our systemA pre-move letter with all details was also emailed to the customer prior to the move Upon arriving at the storage unit the movers could see there was a lot more inventory than disclosed and most items were not packed, but loose on shelves, open boxes etcand pictures that had to be boxed which is time consuming, and all of this would add time to the invoiceBefore beginning the move the supervisor got a revision of estimate for 4-hours + travel charge ($860.00)Paperwork was explained to the customer and he signed The driver supervisor suggested that the customer could move some of the loose electronics themselves in their van if they wanted to save some time/money and they chose to do so.The move did go the hours but minutes ($118.50) were taken off for customer serviceThis put his time at which was well withe estimate Unloading items from the truck is substantially faster as there is no prepping/packing items, and no securing or stacking inside the truck for transitEstimates are given based on the information we were provided by whoever books the move and are given as an hourly quote and are subject to change if items are added or different than describedAll information on the estimate as well as information needed prior to the move is gone over and a hard copy is emailed to the customer prior to the move When I spoke to Mr [redacted] in regards to his move, and after explaining the charges again to him, he wanted to know what I was going to doI explained that he was given a discount of minutes for customer service and that it was well within the estimateThe men were there working and he was only charged for that time, any down time is off the clock There were not any damages from this moveWe provided the services to this customer that he hired us for accordingly and have tried to accommodate him with discounts purely out of customer service He had stopped payment on his original check and our accounting department issued him a new invoice for $We have not received payment at this timeThere will not be any further discounts and his account will be sent to collections should the amount due as of 3/4/$is not paid in full

Bad experiences with this companyProblem # A pickup of furniture from my house was scheduled by for Sat Nov by a family member who lived elsewhereThe day before,,I called the office and requested that both myself and the family member be notified with a min heads up when they were on their way so that everything could be preparedThe pickup was scheduled for 11- I was told that we would both be called in advance..as requestedNo problemOn Sat, about I called the office for an update The man I spoke to refused to provide me with information about when the truck would be here since he said I had not personally scheduled it (even though it was being made from my house.) The man was extremely uncooperative about providing this information even though it had been arranged the day before I then had to call the family member only to find out they were already on their way Very frustrating experience which should not have occurredProblem # The man crew arrived and were looking at the items to be picked up which were outside on the drivewayI was watching out the kitchen door to make sure they picked up only the correct items ( there were other things out on the driveway) At one point, the crew member with the glasses said to me rudely" YOU CAN CLOSE THE DOOR NOW"I was appalledHe made a trip to the truck and when he returned I told him what he said was rude and disrespectful He replied with "I DONT CARE"I couldnt believe his rudenessHad I been thinking more quickly I should have told him to get off my property, but I allowed him to complete the pickupThese comments were rude, disrespectful and completely unprovoked It is no business of his if I was supervising the pickup by watching and he should have had nothing to say about itI called the office times and left messages for the owner Jim asking him to call me back to discuss this situation but never got any return calls over the course of the next daysThis was a horrible experience with this company and if you want respectful service, I would not recommend them

I used to have this company as a warranty company many years ago I let the policy lapse I decided to rejoin this company about months ago WHAT A MADDENING, INCOMPETENT COMPANY I HAVE FOUND THEM TO BE I have NEVER received any communications, statements, invoice from them confirming that I have the protection I have called them about times asking for some proof of service but keep getting brushed off-very nicelyI called two weeks ago and was told that I was set for online notifications and the supervisor would change it and send me a statement NEVER CAME I called today and asked again for a supervisorTHERE WAS NO SUPERVISOR THERE This is the most maddening company I have EVER dealt with I googled today and found *** *** ** and other warranty companies that do the same thing I guess it is time to tell these *** to go away What a rotten, horrible company
