TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: We have contacted the outside vender that was set to do the repair and we were told that the vender had left a couple of voicemails for the customer but, had received no response The last voicemail from the vender was left on 08-15- We now have been in contact with MS [redacted] and the appointment for repair is set for 08-24- We look forward to MS [redacted] s damage being repaired soon Thank youD [redacted]

[redacted] I am in receipt of the complaint from [redacted] My initial contact with [redacted] was that the damage to the walls was minimal, something that could be touched up by the builder with minimal costs [redacted] stated "I have contacted the builder and the repair will be minimal, I am not the type of person that is going to get you with a high bill"During our discussion of the repair, I clearly stated my expectations of a bill of roughly $100.00, that being a high numberHe agreedWhen [redacted] received the quote for the repair, given the number, he should have given me the opportunity to present it to my insurance carrier, but he did not He allowed the work to be done without my approval or that of my insurance Hence, my insurance denied the claim I felt the right thing to do was to pay [redacted] half I believe I have been more than fair in sending [redacted] a check for $

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2014/08/04) */ We performed a residential move for this customerCustomer recieved an hourly rate as her estimate, and continued to argue how long the move was goingWe completed the move, and yet she was still not pleasedA call was made to our office that items were placed in the way, in which we offered to send out a manager to move things around, free of chargeCustomer declined to let us come out for this serviceI received notice from our bank that customer put a stop payment on the check she wrote for moving servicesI called her to discuss, and she said she was on a budget, and didn't have the funds to pay the full amountI tried to work with her, considering she said our movers worked the entire time, moving all items she requestedI offered to discount $off her bill, and she still refused to payI am willing to accept $for the completed moving services she received on 7/11/

Letters were circulated to the residents of [redacted] Mobile Home Park Many were concerned that if they didn't fill out the paperwork that there water would be shut off The way the advertising is explained it scared a lot of people unnecessarily Water is private and they should never been sent

I was completely satisfied with my moving experience with Two Men and A TruckAngel and his crew were very pleasant, hardworking, and extremely helpfulThey obviously take pride in their work and are very accommodatingThey worked non-stop for the hours it took to complete my moveAll my furniture was carefully shrink wrapped and wrapped with a moving blanketThey took the time to ask me where each piece of furniture was going in my new home and marked it accordingly to increase the efficiency during the moveThey were not satisfied until I was completely happy with the positioning and location of the furnitureI would highly recommend Two Men and A Truck to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them again! Great job!!

I was anxious being a woman moving on my own with a large home that the movers would not be as responsive, would not listen to my requests, or that I'd get ripped offHowever, the moving team (Clarence, Alex, & Benjamin) were all kind, respectful, timely, effective and efficient The overall value is unbeatableIt was 90+ degrees, bad air conditions, and the governor even requested "no activity" during the course of our moveThe team assured me that they could continue and powerwithout missing a beat All of my equipment and furniture were safely delivered (no scratches or dents to my home either)They were meticulous about plastic wrapping and blanketing my possessions so that everything was delivered with careSome pieces need to be taken apart and reconstructed-- and this was done seamlesslyThey even moved heavy objects into the attic in that heat! Clarence was an outstanding team leaderI have moved w/other more expensive companies (at twice the cost!) and honestly, they were not as quick, effective, or as responsive as Two MenI recommend them highlyOne small note, their office staff did call me the day before my move and stressed they could only make one trip, that there may not be enough room in the truckThere was plenty of room, thanks to the skilled moversI think the office staff may need a little more training, but the moving team was top notch!!! When I expressed my concern about space, each mover responded with similar responses "Please don't worryWe're here to make sure your things get moved today and we're going to treat you like you're family," or "I'm not sure who you spoke with, but were here to provide the best level of service and we'll make sure you get it." They even checked in with me throughout the move to be sure if there was anything else I needed movedA pleasure to work with

We completed a move for our customer on July 29, During the booking of the move the customer requested truck and moversHer move was estimated at approxhours based on the items she told us she wanted us to moveThe customer stated she wanted us to stop after about hours and take items to a second locationOn July 28, the day before the move our customer called in and stated she would need more time and we now would be taking everything to only one locationWhen the truck arrived at the pilocation on July 29, the movers did a walk through with our customer and she told the movers that she needed to have everything moved that she needed to be completely out of the house by the following day, the movers called the office to see if there was availability to complete the move the following morning but we did not have any availability and the move had to be completed in one dayThe movers in their professional opinion told our customer that to move everything that she showed them would take a lot more time and also informed her that everything would not fit on one truck that they would either have to make two trips but recommended that she would authorize another truck to be dispatchedThe customer declined the other truck and told the movers to proceedAt approx3:00pm the movers called in and requested additional help due to the size and amount of the items on this moveAt approx6:00pm another truck was dispatched to their location and seeing that the customer did not authorize the additional truck, it was being sent in the spirit of good customer service and at no cost to the customerThe movers completed the move (both trucks) and arrived back to the office at approx12:00amDuring the move there were some damaged itemsA jewelry cabinet was repaired and returned, a contractor was sent out and repaired on-site items that were determined were moving relatedAn item was cashed out at full replacement value although the item was years old and in addition to this after several discussions with our customer and verifying times through our GPS reports we authorized a cash reimbursement of $as wellThe second truck that was dispatched was on location from 6:00pm until 12:00am at $per hour for a cost of $that again was free of charge and at no cost to the customerWe have made several attempts both verbally and in writing to our customer detailing everything during the move and what we have already repaired and did a cash settlement for as well as a truck with two movers being dispatched for hours at no cost to herWe consider this concern as closed as we feel we have accommodated our customers need in both time and money to our best ability

Service Line Warranties of America is a complete sham in my opinion We have had the policy for several years In July, we were having issues with a toilet flushing The plumber we called for the repair used a camera to look inside the line and discovered a break in the sewer line just outside the perimeter of the house I promptly called Service Line Warranties to open a claim on August 6, I was told by the company representative that a plumber would be contacting me that afternoon to schedule an appointmentThe plumber never called My husband called the plumber the next day and was told the plumber would be out on Monday of the next week When the plumber finally showedup, his camera was not charged He had to sit in our driveway while the camera charged and then supposedly examined the pipe He left without reporting any findings to us We again called SLW the next day and were told that they had not heard back from the plumber We called back on a dail

Dear [redacted] Once again, I would like to truly apologize for our scheduling error. I understand that this was an inconvenience to you. As soon as we realized our mistake, we made every effort to get a crew out to you as soon as possible. In an attempt to make things right, we provided... a discounted hourly rate for your move, and also sent out three additional crew members on move day at no extra cost to you to make your move go as quickly as possible. I would also like to apologize for the damages that occurred on your move. We offered you a refund of $60.00 based on the valuation you selected. We are still happy to honor this refund and can issue it back to the card you used on move day. Unfortunately, there seems to be a miscommunication regarding the 2-hour deposit of $278. As the operations manager and I explained, the 2-hour deposit is taken at the beginning of the move and credited toward your final bill. We spoke to the crew on your move and the feedback we received was that they did not offer any refunds. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding regarding this. I have sent you the paperwork explaining the final bill and breakdown, showing the total cost of $903.50. The 2-hour deposit taken at the beginning of the move is reflected on the bill, leaving the remaining amount due at the end of the move as $625.50. We would be happy to review this with you again, or resend the email in the event you did not receive it. I thank you for your feedback and am truly sorry for the issues that occurred. We are still happy to honor our offer of a $60.00 refund. As soon as we receive confirmation from you this will be credited back to your card. Sincerely, [redacted] ***

[redacted] , After researching this incident, it sounds like you've spoken with our reps at our North Office (Chris, Austin and Abby)Chris mentioned he did speak to you and informed you there is nothing we can do about these damagesAfter speaking with the movers on this matter, they informed us that once they arrived to the load, they would need much more time to completeThis move went longer because nothing was ready to be movedThey were subjected to some unsanitary conditions (drug paraphernalia, dirty environment, etc.) that would've justified us leaving the job altogetherIn good faith, we chose to proceed with the moveIt was also mentioned that all the damages you have reported were pre-existing and witnessed by our moversWe had to clean off most of the furniture before loading to not spread the dirt and such to our trucks or other furnitureYou spent a good amount of time in a room with a friend that made the moving experience uncomfortableWe always stress the fact that this is a team effortEven after this incident, our movers continued to finish the jobAt the time of the bill, you were only able to pay half of the total bill and then stated to our guys that "This will have to do."Our guys worked efficiently and professionally throughout the entirety of the move and even finished the job when they could've left the job due to the unsanitary conditions they were faced withWe have spoken to you since the moveWe record all of our phone calls and save our emailsAfter further research, we feel we are not responsible for the damages and have all the information detailed in our reportWith a 98% customer satisfaction rating, we strive on continuing being the best that the moving industry has to offerWe pride ourselves on our fairness and integrity that validates an A+ Revdex.com Accredited Business RatingPlease feel free to contact us at [redacted] (ask for Kevin) and we can further discuss this issue over the phoneThanks,

Mr***,We apologize that your moving experience did not live up to expectations for whatever reason We have made efforts to repair some of the items you have mentioned and we are willing to address the remaining damage concerns you have raised by coordinating our various vendors to assess and make the necessary repairs Recently you stated that you did not want us to coordinate vendors but would rather accept a settlement check for compensation We are open to that idea and encourage you to contact [redacted] ***, Franchise Manager, to discuss what you feel is fair compensation to deal with the remaining damages and bring this matter to a close

We have had a few vendor issues trying to get this customers damage repaired It was not a local move so we had to call around to a couple repair men and they set up times to go to the customers home and the vendors did not show up We do have a vendor set up to go the customers house on 8/31/and we will follow up to make sure this happens Some times it is hard to find reliable vendors when damage occurs outside of our local area We will get these damages repaired as quickly as possibleThanks, [redacted]

The frame and mirror were both damaged during the move We cash settled at current fair market value for the frame and mirror as a single unit The item was discarded Our liability covers current fair market value, in which we've honored

I called them for a repair but they had never show up. I paid another company and they said they would refund me, but they never did. I canceled the service but they didn’t cancel it and change me again.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Revdex.com,I received an email from Men and a Truck with an unreasonable settlement for all damages done to my property from their business.I feel this is not acceptable as damages done to my furniture way exceed the settlement they are offering and they need to make it right.I have sent Stephen M [redacted] another email pertaining to this and I am waiting on a response back from him Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] Consumer was scheduled on Jan 21, Consumer lives in [redacted] and was trying to move his sons stuff out of a basement apartmentOur guys had arrived at the starting address at 8:56am Consumer had given the neighbor permission to open the door as well sign off the paperwork The neighbor had a key but there were other locks on the door in which we were unable to open it because the locks were changed by the landlord Consumer was trying to get in contact with the property management company to meet our guys Consumer said that he was going to have the neighbor just use a crow bar to open the door Our driver called us to inform us what was going on I called the consumer told him that our guys will not be able to do this move if we are unable to open the door with a key Consumer said he didn't care, and just wanted his sons stuff out of this placeI told consumer that our guys had left and we would have to reschedule this for a different day when were able to get in the apartment safely with a key I informed consumer that he would be charged for actual time involved and that includes travel time from the office back to the office We had originally charged him the estimated cost for hours which is $at $per hr on his master card prior to the move due to the circumstances We ended up only charging him for 1.25hrs total of $134.50, so I credited him back $

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was told by some ,the manager passed the photo's off to when I called, told me the same thing as they told you I could not tell her how to reach my son who owns the house, I do not know since he moved I told her he has a tendency to dump everything in a dumpster when he sells a house He did this to his historical home that I took care of for five years until it sold That is how I knew what he would do She also said she would try to reach him and call me back in a couple of days Three days later she called and informed me she could not return my items nor fix the ones they destroyed She ask me what they could do to solve the problem and I told her they either needed to replace what was left and fix what they damaged or a equivalent of a reimbursement At that point she refused to say a word that was when I told her I was contacting Revdex.com, Attorney Generals Office and Division of Abuse to the Elderly, without receiving any answer even at this point and I admit I was and still am upset over this fiasco I hung up the phone At the same time I started having mass confusion with phone transfers due to [redacted] vsland lines it took me forever to get a phone Internet was installed due to [redacted] phone not until 8th of June As if that was not bad enough I end up with a phone bill totaling over It took the Cape Girardeau branch of [redacted] a couple of hours to untangle the confusion and returned my call I paid them at [redacted] what I owed them They assured me a new bill would be sent out Instead of a bill my phone was disconnectedI have yet to receive a bill or email through the internet Then last week my pc bit the dust Fortunately, I did meet a pc repair man who handled the problem for a small fee I may be yrsold but far from being senile People just assume elderly women do not have much intellect I'm sure you know, "never to assume and what it means if you do" Thank you for your help it is much appreciatedSincerely, [redacted]
