Review: Getting ahold of UAG is virtually impossible, I began "working" with them when I was recommended to them from a 3rd party vendor, I asked for more information regarding the lower student loan payments and it prolonged from there. I've been with them since they were Student Loan Advisors, where they "qualified" me for a 0$ amount based on my income, but that's only if I consolidated with them, and paid them a monthly fee to "handle" my loans.

Meanwhile my interest has been capitalized to a new amount, I starting paying the company 30.00 which I thought went towards my principle and interest, which turned out went to the company, and that amount has now gone to 41.00. There was a brief stop in the payment pulling, so I thought they finally acknowledged my plethora of voice mails I left them, telling them I was no longer willing to work with them, and for them to return my call. No response. I told them I revoke access for them to automatically debt my checking account because I am no longer working with them, but they've taken 41 dollars each month since. My original loan servicer and current loan servicer is still Navient, UAG offered me the same exact program Navient would have offered me, except Navient would have been without the consolidation and without the hassle. I've tried calling them in all hours of the day, and they're always having "high volume" calls which leads me to voicemail in less than 30 seconds. Meanwhile the business is calling me and texting me repeatedly telling me to contact them. Also consolidation meant they forwarded every piece of mail from Navient directly to them...

So now I'm stuck with a capitalized and consolidated student loan (which I had to pay money for to get consolidated), payments that went toward a company that never helps me in the long run, and an unreliable company that I waste my time on. There's definitely a huge disconnection and lack of communication from a business-customer related note.Desired Settlement: My last two automatic debited payments refunded of 41.00, I left a voicemail on January 8th telling them that I was working with Navient from this time forward for my yearly renewal and I no longer give them permission to automatically debit my account, Never got a call back or a reply via call, text or email.

And no more constant calls, I don't want to work with them anymore, I'm working with navient. They've done enough damage to my loan already.

Review: I am writing to dispute the 90 past due account status that has been reported to the credit agencies.

This is inaccurate because I still have never received any information from UAG company that my loan has successfully been transferred to you, much less any directions for making payments. When I access UAG’s website and login, the dashboard doesn’t provide any options for payment at all. I have called the phone number provided in my initial email from your organization (888-995-[redacted]) over twenty times only to be directed to a voicemail on which I left several messages. A few times a representative did attempt to call me back, leaving me a voicemail with a contact number, but it’s the same number provided the first time, no one answers, I leave another voicemail and process starts all over without resolution.

It was not until this week when I received my credit report during applying for my mortgage that Navient is actually responsible for my loan. This was never communicated to me. I realize I have not made a payment since my account opened in May, but it is impossible to pay when I cannot get a hold of anyone at UAG to give me instruction regarding how to do so despite countless attempts. Additionally, I’ve been charged $51.25 each month for their "services", but have not received any service at all except damage to my credit rating.

I am requesting that 90 days past due status from September of 2015 as well as any subsequent past due statuses be removed. I am also requesting that a representative with UAG contact me as soon as possible to provide me detailed instructions for paying my loan each month. Finally, I am requesting to be refunded the $51.25 I have been charged since May 2015 for the services that were supposed to be provided and never were, totaling $461.25.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that 90 days past due status from September of 2015 as well as any subsequent past due statuses be removed. I am also requesting that a representative with UAG contact me as soon as possible to provide me detailed instructions for paying my loan each month. Review: In August of last year I was contacted by Student Loan Managers now known as United Advisors Group regarding student loan management services. I payed a $200.00 service fee and was signed up for the cash flow protection program/Income based repayment program. I was informed of my payment plan and have a copy here at home. I was to make 3 payments of 123.20 starting on 9/27/14 ending on 11/27/14. On November 9th 2014 I was asked to fax my recent tax info and paystubs to UAG and I did so. I just recently got on my lender site Fedloan Servicing and noticed my loans were placed in forbearance. I called Federal loan Servicing lender today and they informed me that they have only received 3 payments - Sept 3, Sept 29, and Oct 28 2014 in the amount of 70.56 each. I would like to be reinbursed for the money UAG took from me for a service they did not provide. $200.00 service fee and the service charges they took for the last year ($420.00 ) for no service rendered. I spoke with a representative at UAG several days ago and she was unable to tell me why my loans were not being paid. She said I needed to submit my paystubs so they could place me in the correct program.... Funny I thought I was in a program for the last year. I would like this issue resolved - it has made me very upset worrying about this. I trusted UAG to do their job and to find out they were just taking my money, makes me sick to my stomach.

Thank you,

[redacted], RNDesired Settlement: I would like to be reinbursed the $620.00 UAG took and provided no service for an entire year.

Response:

UAG has spoken to the client about he complain and let her know we need her proof of income to proceed 2 pay stubs or tax returns to complete the program placement. The client wanted to think if she wants to move forward or not. She is going to let [redacted] an employee from UAG know by the end of the week. UAG has been doing their job the whole time and not just taking money. UAG aloud the client to split her payment for service up over 12 months so she could better afford it. The service agreement clearly sates that the service fee does not go towards the loan payments. Service fees are on hold and we will get the client taken care of. [redacted] will follow up with her tomorrow. Kind Regards,United Advisors Group LLC

Review: I am not able to reach them about my student loan consolidation that continues to be denied. If I do reach them, I get hung up on. I'm paying 70 dollars a month to pad their pockets. Now I'm far behind on my student loans with nothing to showDesired Settlement: I paid a 300 dollar down payment and have been paying the 70 dollars a month since September 2014. So, 900 dollars have came out of my pocket and I would like it refunded for their horrible customer service and their next to nil communication with me.

Response:

This client stated that he received a notice from Fedloan stating that his information was sent in incorrectly and that might be cancelled. Client stated that due to not being able to get in contact with [redacted] or any of the customer services reps that he spoke to before he wants to cancel and his money back NOW and doesn't want to speak to [redacted] because he has left her multiple voice mails to no response. I explained to the client we possibly need to do a income verification due to his pay stubs being to old or a very easy and fixable problem. I informed the client to eliminate communication errors I would give him my extension as well as email and make sure this is taken care of. Client understood and would like to continue with our services one last time.

Review: I started to pay this company in 3/14 to start a loan forgiveness program. I have called numerous times and they refuse to call back. It cost me $260.00 to start the program and the$114/month and they have delivered nothing!!! To this date, they say they are trying to figure out which program I am on.Desired Settlement: I would like to know exactly what is going on, if this is a legitimate company, and if it is not, I want all my money back that I have paid in so far.

Review: This company was supposed to be handing my student loan, I was told they would be taking over my loan I would not be accruing interest and that they would be sending payments to the loan for me but there would be a fee as well. The student loans are still on my credit, [redacted] has not received any payment, and I am still getting charged the interest. I have tried contacting them leaving messages and emails. I received a returned call and when I answered I was hung up on. I have not received any statments as to where the payments they are taking directly out of my account are going. I have tried calling with questions and leaving messages for well over a week now. I was advised by [redacted] Servicing to contact the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund, the $100 fee they charged to start the service on 12/2/14 as well as the $26.50 from 12/11/14, 1/13/15, and 2/11/15.

Review: I contacted United Advisors Group(in response to an online advertisement) at the end of April 2014 in the hopes of getting my student loans discharged! They explained to me that they would take care of all of the paperwork etc. I paid two automated payments equaling the amount of $225 and it was my understanding that this $225 was their initial fee for retaining their services. Also, I've paid a total of $299.75 in automated payments since June for what I thought was payments on my student loans?! I received an email from my loan servicer, [redacted] stating that I was behind on my payments?! There hasn't been any payments made towards my student loans since 2/3/2014(which was the last payment I made). I informed them that I was behind a couple of payments and they assured me that they would file the proper paperwork and get my loans straightened out. Basically, they haven't done what they said that they would do! My loans were over $1200 past due; because they never applied for the forbearance for me?! Also, it was time for my Income-Based repayment paperwork to be redone and all I could find on the studentloans.gov website was a partially complete IBR application and instead of using the loan servicer that I was already with to re-consolidate my loans ([redacted], is a loan servicer that deals with disability discharges) they went with [redacted]t to re-consolidate my loans. I was informed by a [redacted]t CSR that they don't deal with disability discharges?! I feel like I've been cheated, lied too and kept in the dark about what's been going on with my loans! I assumed that the$59.95 that's been coming out of my account for the last five months was going towards my loans because that's what I was told! I'm very dissatisfied with there services and I'd really like to know where my loan payments are going?!?! I called to get a refund and some CSR named [redacted] just argued with me; while insisting that UAG has been working on my behalf!Desired Settlement: I would like to cancel my contract with UAG and I would like my money refunded! $225 + $59.95 x 5 months which = $299.75 For a grand total of $524.75! Also, I don't want anymore automated payments taken out of my account!!! Just for the record, I was aware that I could apply for a disability discharge on my own but I didn't want to deal with all of the paperwork and hassle of the process; so I was willing to pay someone to represent me in this matter. I cannot beli[redacted] that I was over $1200 behind on my student loans?! I'm really disgusted! I'm not [redacted]n sure that this is a legitimate company? Next time I'll research a company before retaining their services!

Review: On 3/24/14 I talked with a [redacted] from UAG known as the (United Advisors Group) when I talked with [redacted] he told me that they could consolidate my loans I have with Sallie Mae and make my payments lower. They told me that it could take up to 2-3 months and they would have all my loans in their hands and have them consolidated into one loan instead of having a bunch of them. [redacted] also told me that I needed to make an installment payment of $320.00 and then make monthly payments of $66.01 to them in order for them to do this. So I agreed to consolidate my student loans with this company. In the mean time I have called them several times to find out why my loans havent been consolidated and no one will answer the phone so I leave them a message and no one will call me back. When I check with Salle Mae it was showing on my account that no payments were made to them and that I was in default on my student loans. I feel that I have given them plenty of time to get my loans consolidated. My money was withdrawn from our bank account as I agreed to do but they havent stuck with their agreement that they had with me to consolidate my loans in a timely matter. It shouldnt take this company 7 months to consolidate my loans and when I called to talk with Sallie Mae they had nothing showing that any of my loans with them was trying to be taken over by another company. So far nothing none of my loans has been consolidated with this company that they promise to me that they would do. They give me the big run around when I do get a hold of someone and its never the same per[redacted] I talk to. So this sounds fishy to me and also I will be calling our bank tomorrow to stop all payments going out to this company. They arent scamming us for any more money. And for anyone else beware of this company.Desired Settlement: I want all the money I put into this refunded back to us. The one installment payment of $320.00 plus all the monthly payments we made. Which are 6 monthly payments of $66.01 that we made to UAG which totals $396.06?So this is a total of $716.06 that we want refunded back to us.

To whom it may concern,

Review: In December of 2014 I contacted United Advisors Group to help consolidate my school loans for another year. I informed the company that I needed to start paying a larger amount on my school loans because the interest was accumulating and I could not understand why. I had been working with this company for the past year and 6,000 in interest had accumulated . The red flag came up when they continued to take out $33.00 instead of the 287.62 I had requested. I called [redacted] the owner of my loans and learn that NO payment had been made on my account in the past year instead United Advisors Group placed my loan in Forbearance and the money that they had been taken out of my account they kept for their "services".

When I called to confront them about this I was placed on hold for over 10 mins then hung up on, when I called back it went to a voice mail this went on for 3 days. When I finally spoke to someone and ask to cancel my account I was told that I needed to speak with a supervisor to cancel my account but she was busy at the moment and would call back. ... She never called back. It was not until I placed a stop payment on my account that I got an email asking me to please call asap. when I asked to have my partnership with them cancelled I was told that I needed to pay them $366.33 for their services in order to have no dealings with them.Desired Settlement: I would like all dealing with this company ended, they have taking money from me for almost 2 years and they have done nothing but hurt my credit. You are only granted 36 months of Forbearance this company has used 23 months of my Forbearance without my knowledge and now they want me to pay them another $366.33.

I do not want to pay them anything else; and I do not want to have any other ties with this company.

On 5/14/2015 this client sent the following email.

On, December 04, 2014 I was contacted by this company saying they could lower my student loans , which I really needed, they asked for my account number and said auto pay is the only way they can do it, I paid 225 and said my payments would be 30 dollars a month, and would be taken out of my account automatically. I was given a long in and every time I tried it, it didn't work, I called, emailed, and even faxed them to cancel . They never called me back or contacted me. I was my reoccurring payments to stop and I want my 225 to be refunded. I am still getting billed by my Original Loan manager [redacted] . UAG did nothing for me

Review: I am having a problem getting a refund from this company. I have looked over the contract and saw that they didn't make sure that they had all the info to get me into their loan forgiveness program. In the contract it says "We will track and monitor your DOE application progress." Which is what they didn't do for me at all. They never told me that they didn't have all the information they needed to complete my application process. They have been taking 60 dollars out of my account since December 2014 and never told Me that they didn't have the information to complete my application. They had no problem emailing me to let me know when my payment would come out, but couldn't email me about not having the information they needed to complete my application to see if I could be in the program. I have called to talk to the company and talked to Eve and she is the person that would help with this problem, but eveytime I call she saids, " there isn't anything she can do." She said , "she can only get my information, so I can start the program." I have told her I don't want to do that I want my money back because this isn't a good company if they can't help there clients like they are purpose to and as the contract says they will. This company has given me so many problems. I called in August to make sure my account was OK since I was getting paperwork from Fedloan services which is the company I have the loans with and that's when I found out they didn't have the information they needed to compelete the application process. I have been told my [redacted] that works at the company that they have been short staffed and that maybe why I haven't been told, then she said but that's not my fault , but it's somehting they have been going Thur. Also eve told me , "they don't have record of me calling." I told her they should because I leave a message with my name and number everytime I call. I have talked with [redacted] a couple time and she won't let me talk to anyone else about the problem and she isn't helping me. She just says it's my fault for not giving them the information they needed. I told her they should have told me they needed the information and she said they called one time. I told her they should have tried to contact me more because it's been almost a year and they never told me they needed information, they just took my money.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the 540 dollars back that I gave them for the program.

Review: I have been dealing with this company since June 2014, I have called numerous times since June of 2014 and seem to be getting nowhere from anyone, I finally received a call from an Ashton [redacted] in the resolutions department on 02/26/2015 after advising the company that I wanted to cancel my contract because they were not living up to the contract that they signed. Mr. [redacted] advised me that a payment was being made to Great Lakes on 03/09/2015 and that he would push my payment out from 03/03/2015 to 03/15/2015 and neither have happened to this date. On 03/03 they took my payment even though I have an email from Mr. [redacted] that advises that they would push my payment out. I have email Mr. [redacted] on March 3rd, March 5 and also March 10th and I have not gotten a response from him at all pertaining to the payment suppose to be made and also any paperwork that I can have to make sure they are not trying to scam me out of my money. I am tired of paying 171.16 to a company that is full of crap and not doing anything for anyone. They have had the same number on file for me since I have signed the contract on 06/24/2014 so them advising that they called and left messages is just their way of getting out of doing their job.Desired Settlement: I would like someone to call me and give me an honest answer of what is going on, since nobody in this company can give an answer if their life depended on it, if they do not have an answer I would like a full refund off all money that was taken from me since they have voided the contract by not doing their job.

Thank you for notifying UAG of this client complaint. We have spoken to the client and closed his account at this time. UAG completed the consolidation as planned but the ball was dropped by the trust company GTX. UAG made a note in the clients trust account to make a lender payment on 3/9/15 as of 2/18/15 and the payment did not get made yet. The funds are being released to the client and the client will take care of on is own. The client has been informed to call UAG with any question going forward. If you need more information please contact UAG.

Review: I contacted UAG (United Advisor's Group) in zip code 92606 in October 2014 to attempt to consolidate my student loan debt. I paid a base starting fee in October of 2014 and subsequently have been billed anywhere from approximately $40 to $60 per month from October 2014 until last billed ACH from my checking account on 05/12/15. A representative from UAG requested my username and password to access my personal account and information with my original student loan lender. I missed an ACH payment in March of 2015 due to lack of funds and subsequently was harassed and bombarded with incessant phone calls to my personal cell phone to collect this debt (which they did when funds were available). I have made about two requests to cancel my account with UAG and no one has followed up. I continue to manage my student loan debt with my original lender and UAG appears to have done nothing at all to consolidate my debt except a request to obtain my personal information (username and password with original lender to manage my own personal account which I refused to do).Desired Settlement: Cancellation of my account and monthly ACH charges from June 6, 2015 and on going from June 6, 2015. I do NOT wish to do any further business with this company. I no longer wish ti work with United Advisor's Group nor authorize any further collection of my funds in any manner starting 06/06/15. I also request no further contact from this company in any manner including harassing phone calls, emails, etc except if they confirm cancellation of my account.

Review: United Advisors sounded to good to be true..when I went through some of the documents that they barely talked about for helping me with my student loans. The guy was nice but when I called back to put everything on hold before I went through with anything they said my account is on hold and they will not charge my account until I tell them to. So the day after I put my account on hold they went ahead and charged my account twice with out my permission ..so now I try to contact them they won't return my calls or answer my calls. My bank told me to go after them with help from Revdex.com. When they debited my account they caused two 30 dollar fees in which my bank said they owe me because I did not authorize them to debit my account. Now when I try to contact them they either put me on hold for hours. Or some how get disconnected from the phone dB call. They say they are CPAS but they surely don't act like one or have good customer service skills. I polity put my account on hold and asked for all the documents to be mailed to me so I can read them and understand better.. and I did not receive any

thing in the mail and they debited my account without authorization.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a phone call back for once with who I need to talk to about paying me back for the overdraft fees they caused me because I did not authorize them to debit my account..everything was suppose to be on hold and I wanted all the documents sent to me by mail so I can read through everything that was going to take place..I still have yet to receive any y documents that they promised me..now I would like the fees back that they caused me and all my info out of their system.

Thank you for sending UAG this complaint. The legitimate issue at hand was resolved today 4/23/15. This client was canceled out on 4/9/15. When the account was closed a message is uploaded to GTX the escrow company that handles all funds. GTX forgot to close the account and charge the client more payment when they were not suppose to causing an over draft fee for the client. UAG contacted GTX they apologize and will cover the over draft fee. We have never put this client on hold for hours at a time the opposite he hung up on a representative by the name of [redacted] and was very rude. There is not reason to mail his all the documents when he has a secure login to the CRM and can view the documents online 24/7. His story does not ad up. The account is closed and there is no longer a working relationship between UAG and [redacted]. If you need further information please reach out to UAG.

Review: Enrolled in UAG student loan services in December. Since then have paid $220 Enrollment charge, as well as 3 monthly payments of $60. Upon enrollment, specialist described services as a $60 payment to UAG to be auto-debited, a loan consolidation and a $0 monthly payment to the consolidating bank. When confirming several times the nature of the agreement, I was assured that my total financial output would be $60/mo. My loans were consolidated, and then no action has been taken. The consolidated loan is now more expensive than pre-consolidation, and any and all attempts to contact UAG are unsuccessful. The advisor that enrolled me provided a fake number (the number he provided was to a health clinic). Multiple e-mail attempts remain without reply. Phone calls to the organization are auto-forwarded to a full voicemail box.Desired Settlement: Requesting refund of all monies provided ($180+$220 for a total of $400) and un-enrollment in the program. The loan consolidation that was complete is satisfactory, and I will engage directly with them in the future.

Review: The United Advisors Group received five monthly payments from my direct bank account to consolidate my student loans. Beginning from August 15, 2014, $224.37 has been authorized for payment for this company to start the consolidation process for three of my student loans. As to date, my loans have not been consolidated and the three loan companies have not been receiving payments from the United Advisors Group. I have tried contacting them via email which bounce back to me and I have made numerous phone calls and no one from their business organization has called me back to discuss the process or the status of the consolidation.Desired Settlement: I would like to be fully refunded because they did not provide the service they were suppose to.

Thank you for informing us of this Revdex.com complaint from our client [redacted]. United Advisors Group canceled this account today 2/19/15. this client was upset that the consolidation was not complete yet. United Advisors Group cant control the time it takes to process the consolidation. The time the process takes is all based on the Department of Education and the current servicers cooperation. The client is in the final stages of the consolidation but did not want to proceed so the account has been closed. If you need further information please contact us.

Review: I have made monthly payments to UAG since February of 2014 which in turn were to be applied to my Department of Education loan. To date, no payments have been made. I have asked repeatedly why and have not received an answer, just told to keep putting the loan in forebearance which causes interest to be charged. UAG closed my account last week without my knowledge so I asked for my monies back but they will not respond to my emails.Desired Settlement: Refund all of my monies and I will pay on loan myself.

Review: When I first talked to United Advisors they said that they would be buying my ([redacted]'s) debt from Fed Loan and I was told that they were a lender. This way all I had to do was start paying United Advisors the same monthly payments and keep working as a teacher in a Title one school for the next 10 years and then my debt would be paid off. Then they said they needed was 299 dollars so they could process the paperwork to acquire the loan from Fed Loan. They stated that it would take three months to finish the acquasition of my loan. They got only as far as to put her debt in deferment but have yet to attempt to acquire the debt. This was started back in February. Now they have sent me a few emails stating that I need to discuss a different payment plan but they still haven't held up their end to even earn the 299 dollars.I keep calling but always gets sent to the same voicemail and never get a return call. The recent emails have been to pay more money for no service. Only once did I get a hold of a representative in which he disclosed to me that they don't acquire debts and they were just account managers. It was then that I found that they lied very convincingly from the beginning which I am very perturbed about. I tried, that moment to cancel them and tell the guy that I did not need an account manager and to give met my money back but he told me that he could not do that and he would have someone that could, give me a call. I have continued to try to call them yet I have not received any call or voice mail from them.Desired Settlement: I wish to get a full refund since no services have been rendered to even earn the money that I paid them from the get go 299 dollars. United Advisors hasn't even tried to call Fed Loan on behalf of me ([redacted]) to name them as her advisors! And that was checked this last week. When I talked to Fed Loans last week I told them to not let United Advisors make any kind of change on my account. I also spoke to my bank to not let any more charge from them go through but they could not stop payment on the 299 because I found out too late that they were not a lender.

This client was cancelled out. The consolidation was cancelled by the department of education and lender. A refund of $53.83 was sent to the client. Thank you for your time.

Review: UAG is a student loan management facility. I have had repeated issues with the company making payments to debtors in a timely manner, but they are quick to draft payment each month. In February, I requested a Cease and Desist and was about to remove myself from the program (of which I owed no money). UAG drafted a payment from my account, after it was determined that they should NOT. I incurred an Overdraft fee. A representative verbally agreed to refund the money, on several occasions. Two weeks later, a portion of the money was refunded, but not the entire amount. Again, this representative stated that they would get the matter taken care of. Several weeks went by, and the matter still has not been taken care of. At the end of March, I received an email stating that UAG was going to draft a payment from my account. If I had issues, I was to email or call. I did BOTH! Requesting that they DO NOT take the money, as a payment amount HAD NOT BEEN agreed upon, nor had the program been renewed yet. I left two or three messages, with no return phone call. On 4/3/2015, they drafted the money from my account. I have emailed and telephoned about this matter, and still no response. This is not the first time I have had trouble with this company. Days will go by with me leaving voice mails on numerous phone numbers and NO call is returned. The last time I was contacting them, I think I left 15 messages over 7 days, with no return calls. I have sent hundreds of emails, and maybe 1 will get answered. Then I am accused of lying when I explain that I have left messages. I owe them no money, I want my money returned.Desired Settlement: I want my $54 refunded to may account. This is the $13 remaining on the drafted amount from March, as well as the $41 they drafted for April.

I want the money refunded and for them to remove me from the program. In addition, they need to remove my husband's account from the program as well - we have also put this in writing.

Return my $54 and forget we exist.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for contacting me about the complaint I filed on 4/13/15. Late this past week, the Business that I filed the complaint against contacted me and responded to my repeated attempts at resolving my issue. They reluctantly agreed that they did owe me a refund and have since made good on it. I would still like the complaint to be on record - due to the fact that I had repeated issues with this business over the past 18 months and I fear for future individuals that get wrapped up with them. Please let me know if I need to take further action. Again, thank you for your timely response to my issue.

About a year ago I clicked on a link asking about more information regarding student loan forgiveness and how to assist in loan debt. I, on my own, have taken care of my student loan debt. I have since then asked them to stop contacting me. Not only do they still contact me but they have done it 2 to times a week, at times a few time a DAY. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and to speak with someone who will remove me from their system and I still receive phone calls. There tactics are unethical and boarder line harassing. At one point, after I sternly stated that I no longer wanted phone calls, an individual called me minutes after I hung up. I refuse to do business with a company that does not practice ethical sale practices.
