Purchased sofa and recliner from *** Department Store not the outlet Purchased furniture 10/4/ Seams pulling loose on the couch arm (about 8- inches) Stuffing is falling out Bottom and top cushions are collapsing The bottom cushion on the right hand side is flattened out It is also sewed in wrong - it is attached - inches forward - therefore hanging over the edge of the couch You can actually feel the couch frame when sitting on it Staples on the right side of the couch are not attached at the bottom Very poor craftsmanship and material

I am on my second couch from sears because of the poor qualitythe top grain leather is wear through in less than weeks in the seatobviously they are not using top grain leather but either bondedit's completely peeled all over and has sunk so far downthey also do not cover peeling and flaking of bonded leathertheir customer service told me there is a year warranty on the leatherthey don't warranty peeling and crackingthey don't warranty the fact that the entire top layer of the leather has disintegrated they never told me about force field leather protectionit's frustrating to spend hard earned money on junk it started out with one spot wearing away and then before we knew it peeling everywhereit's been peeling nonstop so much I would've thought it would be all off by nowbut no it just sticks to you and trails crumbs of coating all through the house very frustratedunited furniture industries should replace my couch and love seatplease help meI feel

I purchased a bonded leather living room set along with the extended warranty I noticed issues with the extremely thin "leather" peeling away from the material beneath The area of concern was not in a high traffic area by any means, the problem was on two back cushions on the corners I contacted the company on Nov 2, and submitted the requested info I was year past the warranty, had the set years when I first contacted them ** *** was the point of contact, I had to reach out to his supervisor after leaving emails and phone calls that went unanswered Just yesterday (3/9/2017) I was pretty much told Sorry nothing we can do, out of warranty They have terrible customer service and do NOT stand behind their sub par products I will never purchase ANYTHING made by this company ever again

I would like to send in this complaint, about some products we had received and it taking so long in the end to resolved we purchased loveseat and part of a sectional upon receiving the sectional piece it was damaged and completely broken we sent that in for a new piece to only have the 2nd piece damaged as well got another one and the 3rd one and now our customer does not want it to much hassle for themthe loveseat pieces we received one again damaged, sent in for replaced only again to have this loveseat damaged, we had now asked for a refund for these two loveseat and they had agreed to refund both pieces because one of the pieces took over months to receivenow they are telling me that im only getting credit for one which I do have all of the paperwork and emails on this for documentationwe are also a business and this give us a bad name and our products we sell a bad name, we have lost some business due to this for fear other people are going to run into the same situat

Our warranty always works back thru the retailer who should be honoring all issues and working with us to solve the matter promptly and efficiently There should not be any shipping charges incurred for parts by the consumer or retailer as we work with the retailer on the best method to ship parts (Normally parts are shipped to the retailer along with merchandise orders they already have coming in.) The retailer is also responsible for the first year to repair if possible and/or replace if necessary Again, these issues are worked out directly between the retailer and us to honor all warranty coverages We work with *** *** every day on honoring all warranty issues in the best way possible for all involved I feel confident *** *** will work with the consumer to get this all taken care of as we will with *** ***

Purchased a bonded leather sectional and within a couple years the couch started peeling and flaking looked online and saw that there were numerous other people that had the same issueContacted the company that made the sectional and they said it’s due to chemicals body oil‘s that caused it to peel and flake They were not willing to do any type of retribution to resolve the issue and since this was a known issue why are we selling this product to consumers spending well over $to become a disposable item, with limited use I believe the company handled the situation very poorly communication was done very poorly and resolution was done with no concern of their product

I purchased a sofa from *** *** on 02/22/and the frame has broke..I called Simmons and they referred me to United Furniture..We called United Furniture at 662-*** and spoke to *** and she advised she is not authorized to do anything other then sending a board and fixing our-self We cannot fix the couch because it has a seam at the top and we don't have the professional skills to fix the sofa

I am rejecting this response because: It shifts all responsibility for any implied fabric warranty to the seller and the purchaser Further, it would necessitate keeping original packaging, or finding satisfactory replacement packaging and shipping it and waiting for a replacement Being out more money to ship a chair back and forth and being without the use OF that chair for all that time is unacceptable I might as well just keep the DEFECTIVELY upholstered chair IF a chair seam tears and gives way under use as this did, it is CLEARLY a manufacturing defect Oh well I put a negative review on Amazon with pictures too.If they won't do anything, we can just close this as unresolved unsatisfied

We order a new Lane Stallion Rocker/Recliner from ***  *** *** *** on 4-1- We picked it up early June We had a repair made to the chair Nov when the entire base of the chair had to be replacedThe mechanism that rocks the chair, the foot stool that elevates and reclining mechanism were all faultyThe chair wouldn't rock, the foot stool wouldn't stay up and the recliner tipped back so far nearly going backwards The repair person showed me to materials under the chair during the repairI was shocked to see flimsy cardboard in the arms and side of the chairI have photos when the chair was disassembled In February, we had the same exact issue And like before there were broken bolts under the chairIt wont rock, recline and is about ready to go over backwardsIt isn't safe enough for my year old mother in law to sit in I have tried since early February to get this company to respond/acknowledge/listenI have lef
