I purchased a sofa love seat and an Ottoman January from a company who gets there furniture from United all the color has peel offI have being called three time tellingever a repair person was coming out no one cameI have sent picture to *** and *** times bank statementNothing has happen

We recently purchased a living room set with recliner and cocktail table on 12/2017, sofa and loveseat were in a local warehouse and delivered 12/20/Both pieces had flawed material as well as the cushions.Sofa Cushion was so badly defected it looked as if a permanent v was imbedded even months later.Which is how long we had to wait on replacement cushions just for that! Just received those 6/3/17and so fed up the seams are wavy in the front of the sofaAlmost rippled..The loveseat was exchanged out twice until I had to say just leave whats hereCushions for that also had to get replaced , And the $600plus recliner had to have the fabric removed to cut away excess rolled foam that was stapled by the factory before THEY covered it, easy to spot but was left rolled and covered anyhow!WORST purchase EVER made and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!! Made in the USA ,Yeah OK!!! Someone said to us thats what happens when you buy Chinese made productsJoke was on us ....I see I have to at least give star, which is more than they deserve and a not very likely rating to recommend this business, when I would put NEVER would I recommend them!!! .In total the time was 7months of waiting for shoddy furniture and that should be unacceptable by any standards

We purchased a reclining leather sofa and loveseat set in April We also purchased an extended warranty on the furniture We spent a total of The family owned furniture store where we bought our furniture closed due to retirement in july By the beginning of September 2016, our furniture had begun to fall apart One of the reclining mechanisms stopped working due to an issue with the frame on the sofa, The cushions began to pop open along the seams I contacted the company that we bought our extended warranty from and was told that it didn't go in to effect until after the one year manufacturer's warranty was up They gave me the manufacturer's info and I contacted United I had several conversations/email exchanges with a representative who basically told me that they would replace the furniture if I could find a furniture store in my area who sold their items and would take delivery of it for us I attempted this and did not find anyone who even understood

Terrible quality furniture! Our couch cushions are peeling after less than two years of light useI would not recommend this manufacturerIt’s no wonder they don’t maintain a social networking presence because they more people can comment on the poor quality of their furniture

I have been trying to order a replacement lock on a lane cedar chest from the 1950s I found that according to the Product SafetyCommission, that All of the Lane cedar chests manufactured between and , the lock must be removed due to accidental intrapment , which has resulted in more than one fatality ! It also states that the companie (United furniture Industries , formally " Lane furniture" ) will replace the lock with a safer lock I have called al the # s that I have found on line, more than once Every time I call I keep getting an automated answering machine , I have left all my info yet I never get a call back , I have even called at different times during the day and still nothing I am beginning to wonder if the offer to replace my lock even exist anymore And if not then that info all over the web is incorrect and needs to be changed.so that others don't waste their time waiting for a replacement that will never happen I feel as if no one is responding to

The warranty on all bonded leather products is for one year from date of purchase. As this is out of warranty, the consumer could purchase cut and sewn parts for repair. We do not suggest that any type of leather cleaner be used on the furniture as this can cause a chemical reaction
with the bonded leather and cause the peeling. Please have the consumer call 1-800-*** to speak to Customer Service if they would like to purchase cut and sewn parts. Thanks!

I bought a couch from *** *** thinking it was a *** brand not knowing United Furniture Industry had bought it outWorse piece of furniture ever!!! It started to fall apart a year and a half after having itThe couch is currently years old and still falling apartI started contacting UFI in May of this yearThe customer service was horrible alsoJust yesterday I spoke to a supervisor ( months later)I couldn't get a supervisor to contact meI would like my couch replaced! They guarantee on there website there material is and products are great, durable etc They are lyingThe material is tearing off, white stuffing is coming out, the bottom of my entire couch has fuzz material breaking off all along the couch, etcThis company has shown they DO NOT care about there customers!!!!!

I purchased the Hudson piece table setOpened the box and no bolts or screwsTwo bad chair backs and scratched table topAfter a month got the table top and finally two chairs replacedIt's been two months and still no bolts for all the chairsIt's terrible you spend this much and I have had numerous family get togethers and we can't use the new table and chairsHere it is Thanksgiving and still can't use the set I boughtThe quality control is also terribleHave a chair side that was welded wrong and another that broke because only one spot weld was holdingBottom chair leg pad was missingI will never buy anything *** it is awful

I am rejecting this response because: There is no part to replace unless they want to provide ALL the leather for the chairI'm aware of the year warrantyBut with so many issues with this leather, the company should recall the chairIf a car mfghas the paint peel beyond the warranty, they recall the car to repaint ....the same applies hereAfter all UFI states on their web site that the company uses the best materials and wants customer satisfaction

I purchased this couch a little over a year agoIt started bubbling and now it has went to peelingIt looks awfulI contacted customer service and I was told that I needed a receipt and they would help me even though it was out of the warranty by a little whileBut I paid cash for the furniture and I do not have the receipt and the store I purchased it from has went out of businessThis furniture is no good to me so the money I paid for it is wastedI was told to email them with pictures and info and they would see what they could doSo I emailed them and when the reply was received from them, they said they were sorry but there was nothing they could do without a receiptWhen I purchased this furniture, I expected it to last more than a year so I did not keep the receiptThis furniture should not be able to be sold with such cheap materialI have never abused my furniture

I always thought "Simmons" name represented a quality product, I was wrongNow I find out Simmons is really "United Furniture Industries."
I'm so disappointed with my purchase of a "Simmons" leather 'Manhattan' reclinerI bought this almost years ago but about months ago the leather started peeling off
From what I read online, this is a MAJOR defect in their product and should be recalled or the customers should receive some compensationBut Simmons will not do anything

I am rejecting this response because: after further review of people having the similar frame problems (different website reviews) I feel the product may not be as good as you advertise to your sales channel I also feel the fabric is horrible and started breaking down with lint type balls and that was underneath the fixed cushionsThe cushion inside the fabric are too small causing wrinkles as well I do not have a sock and live in a rural town I’m not sure who just stores people’s furniture and allows them to use a dock I assume you are in the furniture business that you would send it to a store you deal with and pay them to deliver it

We purchased a couch and recliner that is not even a year oldWe have sent in all the pictures of the problems with the furniture as the frame is literally braking and pieces of wood are laying on my floorThe recliners don't openThe material is completely saggingThis one from their fine leather collectionThis furniture is junkThis cost us over $We turned this in as a warranty claim to the manufacturer because the furniture store went out of businessBut the manufacturer is still responsible for at least the first year of ownership Back on June 25, *** *** the Parts & Warranty Manager told us they would be replacing our furnitureSince then they have stopped all communications with meThey will not respond to emailsThe sales manager sent me and my husband on a wild goose chase telling us different furniture stores in the area sold their furniture in leather to find something and pick it out and let them know, knowing there was nothing in the area

My apologies but that is my copy I got of the year protection plan, it a proof that I payed for it and it even has my name on there
