I purchased a loveseat and sofa at *** *** *** *** in *** *** locationWhen I purchased the sofa and loveseat, I was told by the sales person that "he" would replace the set once within years for any reason if I purchased the extended warrantyI didHowever, my set started to deteriorate by FebruaryI put a claim in with the warranty company in early July and it was denied because I didn't put the claim in within weeks of the damageI was unaware of this stipulation as I was never given a copy of the warranty and was led to believe that the warranty was through the storeI then contacted the store manager, *** *** via telephone (the call is recorded)I was told by *** to email him photos and the invoice and he would put a claim in with the vendor as that is where the claim should have gone in the first place because the furniture was less than a year oldI emailed him all the documents on July 19/I followed up times in the last several

I am rejecting this response because: I was told that by you last Weds Last Thurs I was told he was on his way back from the market I called his voicemail today,yesterday times along with Friday I had also called him April 10th I received not a single call back I also never heard a thing from the N.CrepI has also email and called you today and yesterday So the pattern is the same This was the same thing I went thru months ago as well I have a call in *** *** as well I hope at least he calls me back As far as *** he has had plenty of opportunity to call me A simple call that he was reviewing it Oh and the wood popped from the back of the loveseat last Friday pm.

One of the seams in the seat area of my massage recliner started coming undone, less than two months after purchase I am still under three months I bought two of these chairs and this defect has only occurred on the one that is least used
Looking at warranty info, it is clear that fabric repairs, may incur shipping fees and the like that make warranty for fabrics almost pointless

I bought a sectional made by this company in October of It was delivered Oct and started falling apart about three days laterI tried contacting the company I bought it from and United industries multiple timesEven after the warranty ended I am still trying to contact them and have received no responseAt this point I would just like to buy new slip covers for the cushions, I’m not even expecting any free replacements, and I still cannot get anyone to contact me from the company

I bought a sectional that started to rip at the seams in several places months after purchasing it I didn't buy a warranty so *** *** said there was nothing they would do, advised me to contact the manufacturerI emailed United Furniture and heard nothing backWill NEVER purchase this brand again and will NEVER shop at ***'s eitherGood quality furniture should not rip within months

I purchased this sofa approximately one year ago from *** in *** **The workmanship of the sofa is extremely poor and the frame has not held up despite very minimal useI contacted the manufacturer for service under the lifetime warrantyAfter denying the existence of the warranty, the manufacturer stated that I needed to have a furniture repair person come out at my expense to look at the furnitureI cannot believe that they are not standing behind their warranty or their product that is of inferior qualityI will never purchase another piece of furniture from this horrible company again in the future

I explained to Mr *** that *** *** handles the warranty for the first monthsHowever, there is a service technician in his areaWe will order the parts and have them shipped to his home.When he receives the parts, he will call us and we will schedule a service technician to come to his home
and repair his sofa.Thank you.*** ***

I have advised Ms*** that this will be reviewed by our Quality team to determine if there is anything else we can do Ms*** was advised that she is technically out of warranty but as a one time courtesy, we sent a certified technician out to preform an inspection of her furniture
as well as sent her all new cushions and a new top for her ottoman The tech did repair the ottoman top with the new cut and sewn part sent and inspected for any frame or spring damage on her furniture as well as making sure the backs were aligned Per the tech's report, there are no manufacturer's defects The cushions are brand new and again were found to have no defects I advised Ms*** that I would be back in contact with her when I heard back from my Quality team

I am rejecting this response because:Yes they contacted me with the cost of materials to fix the problem but the cost of labor was on me.There also was no mention of the insurance plan I purchased and was told it would cover these issues unless you read the fine print I am 70years old and was duped.There was a class action law suit settled in florida for this product and the company was ordered to compensate the people for there loss.Currently I see there is one started in my state of Wi. it would be good if they would step up and take responsibility for this problem.

I am rejecting this response because: That was last week, when he was on his was back from the furniture market.  I have called him 5 times.  I’m just frustrated I just left [redacted] furniture they had 3 set made by you.  None of them were near the same size and seems like the same fabric. I’m headed to another .. I’m try here and seems I’m getting nothing on their end meaning the rep or [redacted].

I received an email from Ms [redacted] this morning. I replied to her email and explained that all warranty issues are handled through Sears. I gave her the Sears Customer Care phone#. The phone# is 1-800-[redacted] and you need to Select Option 6 from the phone menu. Ask for a Service Order/Claim#. Sears...

When we need to replace furniture for a customer and the store where they purchased the furniture has gone out of business, the customer calls stores in their area where we can deliver their furniture.It doesn't have to be a furniture store, it just needs to have a dock to accommodate a 53 ft...

I am not sure what he is referring to about the insurance policy. If he purchased additional insurance, that would not have been with United Furniture. [redacted] explained our policy and procedures. We are willing to work things out to come to a satisfactory agreement with Mr [redacted]. He will need to notify us if the store where he purchased his furniture in 2014 is still in business. am hoping we can come to a resolution on this matter.  I’m not asking for anything unreasonable.  I just want a couch and love seat in which the material and fabric doesnt look years old .  The frame also squeaks everyone you move.  As stated before I like the couch but the material is horrible.  I would like to at least be able to get a different type of fabric if possible or a different  couch or a credit to use at a store that sells your products.  This has been going on way to long .  A simple refund to my credit card will also work.  Last to answer your very first question, I can give you a ship to address but it’s to my home with no loading dock.  None of this is my fault, it’s not my problem the store closed nor why the product failed.  I’m not sure why me the customer will need to be inconvenienced.  I paid to have it delivered because I’m not able. I have no truck, two bad knees and bad back. I can not do heavy lifting at all.  This is becoming dragged out can you please give me a call or a number you can be reached.  And my question is who comes to take this set now.
