If only I could warn everyone about this school, even though they should never be referred to as suchI completed credits and somehow managed to accumulate over $50,in student loans, not including my out of pocket expensesI was consistently lied to about the loans and now I'm so far in debt that there is no end in sightThe enrolment officers are not well trained and provide informationThe academic and financial advisors also hide the truthOut of the credits only transferred, which intelligence is not an issue as I'm a GPA student at my other school, which is actually academically credibleThe school lies to obtain government money and preys upon lower income individualsYou will struggle to find a job with any degree you obtain from here as the quality of education is comparable to a primary levelOften teachers do not meet the necessary requirements standards to teach classes so we played a lot of games in classTests are never actually given, except a few online one for mathTeachers hand other student papers to other class member to grade, what's the point of paying the teacher if the students are doing their jobIf you like writing papers that mean absolutely nothing and not actually read by most teachers than this school is for youWhat can you really expect to learn in weeks and still wonder why you cant get a job after attending UOPWhen you do need to transfer good luck getting those transcripts as the school does everything in their power to delay that processAlmost a month now, many emails and phone calls and still no response to the documents I need to transfer properly, go figureSociety needs to do itself a favor and ban and discredit this "business" as it is a complete waste of time and massive amounts of moneyAlmost years later and I still cant get back on my feet because of this schoolNo wonder it is such a jokeDid I forget to mention this a school you can cheat to get through because guess what a fellow student got caught plagiarizing and the school received complaints but took n measures to reprimand that student by any meansNumerous complaints were made but that student still got an ASadly this institution gives a bad name and creates a fear for others who wish to pursue higher educationThere is a reason many celebrities (Family guy, Tosh) and others out there publicly make fun of the schoolDo yourself a favor and jump in a giant hole before you attend this school, same principle

University of Phoenix will tell you what you want to hear to get you in the doorIt is a bunch of lies and when you call them on it they give you excusesI was told I would get my transcript with my diploma and now months later all of a sudden you have to pay for all transcripts even tho they tell you the one with your diploma is freeDon't believe them and also their tuition just keeps going up and up and upFind a better cheaper school that will actually do what they say

I have Gone to this school for only a little now and they a trying to make all their students take down most all security protocol down in order to take the course or classThis has happened in all of my classed so farI had gotten a computer they said was comparable with the school and would meet all the requirementsOn this computer I had not got to any other site besides the school and I was get virusesthis is not something that should be required of students because it is causing viruses and allowing anyone to access the computer

I could go on for pages and pages, but it would be too long When I resigned from the company on July 12th, 2014, the company immediately dropped me from my health insurance This is the first place I've ever had this happen Also, as an academic counselor, we were required to get at least recommendations from other students The company really pushed its employees to get recommendations when we were supposed to be counseling students on their programsThey were having students enrolling who were fresh out of jail with the idea that student loans will be plenty and they could live off that These particular students had no personal computer and no Internet access and were told by their enrollment counselors that they could "just go to the library to go to school." Counselors bully up on students to keep them in classes they can't afford and when the money runs out and the student has no more loans to pay for their overpriced classes, they're forced to drop out or they're told to find alternative loans YES, their answer for students is to seek out MORE LOANS!!!! The University records phone conversations of its employees and the employees were told that it would be for training purposes However, this was not the case Workers were constantly berated as these recordings were used against employees for their evaluation This is the most unethical company I've ever worked for and nepotism is the rule of the day

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThis is nothing more than they told me the first time I filed a complaint with thisI believe they have purposefully kept me from completing the PhD programIf they do not help me in some way I will move forward with filing a complaint with the accrediting agency and obtain a lawyerI invested too much in this program for them to treat me like thisI am a student and expect to get what I set out to completeI did everything I was asked to do, plus someI had more patience than mostI will not let this rest Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The university of Phoenix increased the cost of the courses in my graduate certificate program from $to $- a nearly 200% increaseI started the program in June and took each of the courses consecutivelyI was not notified of the price increase until October, as I was finishing the 3rd of the courses required for the certificate programI said I would in no way consent to $per course.Without my consent, they proceeded to report to the Department of Education that they were providing me (and the other students in the program) with several thousand dollars in "assistance" - the difference between the original cost of the courses and their new inflated costThe Cost of Attendance (COA) on my July award letter was about $15,000, the COA on my November award letter reflecting their new rates is nearly $76,(see attachments)This is for a course online certificate programThe University of Phoenix appears to be fraudulently reporting a significant amount of student "assistance" to the Department of Education and engaging in some very creative bookkeeping Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Because they state that there was a break in my being part of the school program and they could not get paid so they wanted to charge me The break was forced on me because they could not get there records together and after weeks of completing forms that they said could resolve the issue, still was not able to resolve it They even had me sign one stating that I was taking a break because of some difficulties that they was having In the end they said I had to reapply to their school and after all the trouble I went through because they could not get it together I refused [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted]
