They didn't tell me I wasn't able to do a bankruptcy until more than half way through the service!
I did not understand that they do not even pull up your credit report until you are done paying what they want. From what I understand this whole procedure was one set fee and I did not know there was any hourly thing going on. So, half way through the procedure; after I paid them over $2000, got all my information together for them, completed the financial responsibilities course etc. They then looked at my credit file and said everything I had on there before was to old and not on there anymore! Now they couldn't do a bankruptcy on me! What? I got ripped off for $1008.50 of that $2000 and they weren't even able to provide the service! They did a service for me that I did not qualify for!

Upright is great, they have helped me with garnishments on my account allowing me to be able to caught up on some of my others and also teach me on ways that I can rebuild me creditI would recommend upright to anyone

I am a managing attorney at UpRight Law By the time I received the notice of this complaint, I had already spoken with this former client and resolved his concerns While we disagree with his characterization that our firm did not perform substantial work on his behalf, we also sincerely apologize for the min the telephone number that he wished to be contacted on It's unusual for a client to request to be called at work rather than on his personal line and when our representatives reached out, they followed the procedures, rather than his request For that we apologize and we wish him all the best of luck in his future endeavors

I do not know how this former client could possibly characterize me as being mean and intimidating since she has not called me back or spoken to me about her concerns I am also confused as to how she believes this situation can be resolved without any communication I'm here to help if she decides that she would like to find a resolution Though she has chosen up until now not to use it, in all of the emails and voicemails I have sent her, I have given her my direct contact information

I hired Upright Law for a Chapter bankruptcy caseA very big mistake was made by my attorneyHe had my credit report and didn't review itI told him that my mother and my bank accounts were Linked but I wasn't sure how that would affect the caseI wasn't sure and thought he would do his diligence but didn't! That caused the courts to freeze a large sum of money from my mothers accountShe is on somewhat of a fixed income and was left with nothing!!!! The trustee was not sympathetic at allTreated me like I was lyingSo being in debt to creditors and trying to get helpI got skewed Now not only am I broke with a ruined credit, But my mother is broke.!!!!! No justice was servedI am just further in debt!

I am the Managing Attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Service When I was notified about this complaint, I immediately tried to contact this client I left the first voicemail for this client on 2/18/at 12:p.m I tried again and left another voicemail on 2/19/at 4: p.m I then sent the following email:Dear [redacted] I am one of the managing attorneys at UpRight Law and I just left you a voicemailI am writing you now so that you have my contact information written downI would like to talk with you about the complaint you filed with the Revdex.comIn it, you allege that the fees we withdrew from your account were unauthorizedI had the call pulled and I listened to itThere must have been some confusion, because it appears on the call that our representative asked you about the amount and date you wanted your payments to runIt appears that we ran the payments exactly as you askedPlease call me back at your earliest convenience so we can discuss thisThank you and have a great day! I also gave the former client my direct contact information and to this date, I have not received a responseWe consider an allegation of an unauthorized payment to be very serious If a member of our firm were to have intentionally processed a payment without consent of the client, such an action would be met with a harsh disciplinary response In this case, I pulled the recorded call and our representative very clearly addressed the issue of the dates and amounts this client wanted to pay There is nothing on the call that would create any confusion in my mind about what the client had authorized Everything appears to have worked exactly as it should have worked Since this client has not responded to my numerous attempts at contact to see if he would like to add any detail to his allegation, I have to conclude that there has been a mistake on the part of this client If at any point he decides to respond to my inquiries, I will be happy to speak with him

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/09/24) */ I am the managing attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced ServiceImmediately upon learning of the frustrations experienced by these clients, I contacted them and we discussed their caseThe process for filing for a bankruptcy is just that: a processThere are many requirements that must be met and proof of meeting those requirements can become frustrating for many clientsUnfortunately, these clients were not interested in completing the processWe completed an accounting of the file and I personally spoke with the clients at length about everything that goes into filing for a successful bankruptcyFollowing that conversation we came to a mutual agreement and this matter has been resolvedWe wish them nothing but the best with all of their future endeavors
