I never got the help neededI was given a local attorney in another city and not in LaredoHe said he could not help meI wish I could get at least half my money back

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/02/18) */ Mr [redacted] , you were a client for over monthsDuring that whole representation work was continually done on your caseYou failed to turn in the Federally required documents to file your casePlease remit those documents so we can file your case Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/02/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) 1st have the time they are saying I was an client they were just accepting funds from my bank account, they were being paid bimonthly and the last payment came out in 8/2013, after they were paid in full in 11/I explained I believed I made too much money and asked they just hold my case because my job was threatening to close and this occur in 4/2014, due to being laid off I decided to place bankruptcy on hold now in financial distress having no income and asked for an refund less dollars which I was told would be an late fee for not filing after paying, and was willing to accept that fee for papers copied and telephone calls taken but the represntative [redacted] I spoke too tried to incinuate that the only moneys I could recover was court cost which I disagreed with, he attempted to state that most of the work was done but how without my information never submitted to their office, with no filing in court and no attorney touching my case other then the initial counselling when I signed on with them which was free now that they have my funds they don't want to relinquish them period and he gave me an million reason why he felt his company was justified in keeping 70% of what was paid again I disagree MY CREDIT IN MY PRESENT FINANCIAL STATE IS THE LESS OF MY WORRIES AND that's why I wanted an refund and to place this action on hold Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/02/26) */ We will happily file your case as you seem to still need to file bankruptcyFollow through with what you hired us forThere is no refund beyond what is being offered

I have paid for services in full and have had to cancel various scheduled appointments with my local, Upright Law appointed attorney four times because I cannot get Upright Law to return any phone calls or voicemails According to my local attorney Upright Law must perform an exit call before the account is turned over to the local attorney from the virtual attorneyThis call is the final step after services are paid, which I have done over a month ago During the course of this process I have been given five different telephone numbers, none of which are in service any longer I have asked the local attorney to reach out on my behalf in an attempt to get this phone call taken care of to move forward with filing my case As I read the reviews on this site it seems like Upright Law is concerned with statistics and social media following so I hope that this review is red and someone reaches out to contact me The last time I was able to make contact with customer service was early September My experiences with them are never pleasant as they are young and disrespectful but this last time I was mocked, patronized, laughed at, and not taken seriously That number I called is now no longer valid If someone from the company is reading these reviews please feel free to look up my case using my telephone number [redacted] you should see the status of sad case matches that in this review

I am a managing attorney at UpRight Law Upon receiving this complaint, I reviewed the client's case file I tried to call her many times to resolve the issue, but the telephone number that she gave to the firm and the telephone number that she gave to the Revdex.com are both not accepting calls I sent her this follemail:Dear MsXxxxx, I am a managing attorney at UpRight Law I have been trying to contact you at the telephone number you gave to our firm and the telephone number that you gave to the Revdex.com when you filed your complaint I have not been able to get through as both of those numbers are not accepting calls I have been trying to connect with you to resolve your Revdex.com complaint Regarding that complaint,it appears that some miscommunications occurred when you spoke with our intake representative For example, you said that you didn't understand why the firm debited your account, but your case file shows that you hired the firm to represent you in a bankruptcy Bankruptcy representations come along with a fee for that representation and that's why you were sent a contract for our services You also said that you had no contact with our firm after your intake, but your case file shows that you had numerous point of contact with both our attorney and our non-attorney staff Latly, in your last call with the firm, you specifically asked that we do not contact you, but you asked for the Revdex.com to have us contact you Is it possible you are confusing our firm with one of the other firms that you spoke with? My wife and I decided to file bankruptcy and after talking to upright law and having several conversations we were really impressed with how professional they were and so helpful we got nothing but positive things to say so far as we are making monthly payments till we are paid in full and ready to file We definetly recommend this law firm!!

Hello I would recommend upright law to any of you who is having trouble with bills and you can not get out of debt they are helpful and very nice always will to help they will look at your issues and see if they are the right fit for you I'm very thankful to have them in my conern thank you

Hi Up right law is vary helpful with there clients they also listen and help there clients with a payment plan for individuals who are on a Fix's monthly income like myself

Since the time this complaint was filed, this client has been in touch with at least of our attorneys to move her case forward Unfortunately, since there was a 4-year gap in communication with this client, significant work needed to be done to bring her case file current That resulted in some delays and we apologize for those delays We look forward to being able to help this client achieve the fresh start that she is seeking and we're very happy that she has chosen to stay with UpRight Law to meet her bankruptcy goals

Worst people I ever dealt with, paid them $500, then my financial situation changed and canceled month into the agreed price of $Made numerous phone calls about a refund, and was told 30-business days.On business day 42, they inform me no refund would be issued because they started working on my case Received phone call from a lawyer explaining what I would need to bring, nothing sinceGuess that was a $phone call Do your research and file it yourself These people are clowns and only want to rip you off

I am the Managing attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Services Upon receiving this notification, I contacted this client and we had a very fruitful discussion There were a number of factors on this case that were points of confusion for the client and a number of employees here, but during our talk, we were able to address them all We were able to resolve this matter and UpRight Law is very happy to continue our service to this client if she should ever decide that she would like to move forward with the bankruptcy process
