I had to cancel my flight last week due to the Coronavirus. I've called several time and sent message to try to get a hold of someone. I can't even get through. I'd like to rebook or get a refund if my lost ticket. This is the worse company ever!!

I bought my ticket on Vayama for Korean Air to Ho Chi Min City. My flight is in a few days and I cannot reach vayama for change of flight or flight cancellation at all! I have emailed then and requested a change request for a month now. They have not responded at all. By this point, I'm pretty sure they're not giving refunds at all. This is the most horrible experience with a third-party airline comlany ever. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING TICKETS ON VAYAMA!

Unable to conatact customer service. Webpage directs you to the phone #, which directs you to webpage. multiple emails sent/ flight leaves in 2 days.
My flight leaves in two days, I have not heard back from the travel company in regards to *eithercancel *orchange the dates of the travel . Only thing I have received from them is the generic form e-mail saying "check in with the airline" and to "submit a change or cancellation request on our website" ....which it is not allowing me to do.

Desired Outcome

i would like for them to provide options for ANYTHING. On their website is ONLY the following "Change flight date Please note: Changing and cancelling a flight always involves costs. Important: If you want to know the possibilities for cancellation of your flight due to the Coronavirus, please visit the website of the airline which is operating your flight(s) Call us for a change You'll leave within three days. You can call us to discuss the changes on +X XXX XXX XXXX. Cost Within 2 days you will receive a cost overview by email. (Please note that not all airlines allow changes). You only pay after having agreed to the costs. You only pay after having agreed with the costs. Go back" There is no option to change any date or anything. Cancelling is just e-mail them where they don't even give you option to cancel as well.

Attached is a screenshot, which according to the website check-in is available for a flight that does not exist? I have heard nothing from them since the initial ticket at all. I would like a full refund now instead of moving my dates as it is apparent that this company has no inclination to work with me on this issue despite my repeated attempts to contact them.

Have still received zero contact from vayama or anything. Their website (attached) has changed to say they are available only on e-mail which will be in my e-ticket. Attached is my e-ticket from them with zero contact information.
I am still seeking my full refund minus the AIG trip insurance.

It's a horrible experience I have to deal with Vayama. I kept sending them email the whole week before my flight . Until the last day, they sent me an email with the phone number that I could reach the customer service. I believed I talked to the guy name John and he actually hung up the phone on me after I waited for an hour to talk to him. I got the phone call from Eva air that I should contact Vayama to cancel my flight due to the suspend transit service in Taiwan. This company Vayama is the worse travel company I've known. I wish we have enough bad reviews so the state can cancel their license.

We need them to cancel our flight tkts from Cathay and get us a refund. They have been ignoring all our emails and not picking up the phone for weeks
We bought two tickets from them to fly from Newark to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Cathay Pacific in Jan. Our flight is supposed to leave on March 24th but due to the coronavirus and worldwide lockdowns, we cannot fly anymore and need them to cancel and process a refund with Cathay. We called Cathay and they said they cannot help us and only Vayama can, because we bought the tickets from them.

We tried calling Vayama but got a prerecorded msg saying their call volumes is high and that we should email them. I have been emailing them every single day for the past week and I did not get any reply. I tried calling their number numerous times a day and have always gotten a msg asking us to email them. There is no way to get in touch with them!

Our flight is leaving in less than a week and we need them to cancel our tickets because Cathay still insist that they cannot help. We even went on their Facebook page and left them messages but all we got is an automated reply saying to email them. We tried to cancel our tickets on their website and a msg popped up saying this doesn't cancel the ticket but we would need to wait to hear from them to get a cancellation quote and once agreed, they will go ahead to cancel it. It has been days and we have yet to get any reply from them. We spoke to Cathay and Cathay confirmed that they will give us a full refund once Vayama processed the cancellation, but Vayama is just not responding. We are not sure if they have closed or is out of business, but nobody seems to be able to get in touch with anybody from there.

From what I see on Facebook, many people are in the same situation as us and we are stuck in the middle of our airlines and Vayama. In short, they have charged us for tickets than we can't use now but refuse to process a refund, eventhough the airlines has confirmed that they will give us a full refund.

Desired Outcome

We need them to get in touch with us before our flight on March 24th, call Cathay Pacific to cancel our tickets and get our full refund for us (which Cathay Pacific already confirm they will issue once Vayama processes it)

I have a flight early next week and these people have stopped answering their phones and emails. The airlines say that Vayama has to refund my ticket and Vayama in their automated voice message says I have to talk to the airline. They're trying to play both ends against the middle.

Im trying to contact vayama from 4 days they are not availabe on the phone and did send them couple emails but no response at all
I booked the flight for my wife and kids on vayama.com saudi airlines canceled the original date which was on April 12 sunday and reschedule on Monday April 13 which is monday and I don't want that so I called saudi airline so they told me I can get full refund since its cancelled from them or reschedule the date whatever suited for u but they cant do that from their side I have to contact my travel agency only they can help me so I been trying to call them they are not available on phone and they have message that they are only available on the email so I did sent them couple emails but no response from them I have booked couple of flights with vayama and this was the first time I have to cancel or reschedule the flight but no response from them I'm very frustrated I dont know what to do.

Post review, see that since the flight cancellation was done by the airlines and since there was no alternates on same date, your tickets are eligible for FULL REFUND for the return flights only. We have now cancelled the booking and sent the refund request to the airlines, once approved refund shall be directly credited by the airlines.

This honestly feels like a scam company. I HAVE CALLED CONSISTENTLY FOR 2 WEEKS STRAIGHT TO CANCEL MY FLIGHT AND NO ONE PICKS UP OR ANSWERS MY EMAILS! My mom is vulnerable and her chances are high of getting the virus and it's sad how these people are running away with peoples money! THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY!

Been trying for over a week to contact VAYAMA; they have gone under. I was trying to cancel or reschedule my flight (which was on 3/16/20) or to unticket my flight so I could travel later due to travel restrictions, but Vayama is NOT responding to calls or emails, or social media complaints. I have called their office in San Jose and in Holland; NO ONE picks up. Fraudulent company; please refund my money.

The worse customer services ever!!!! Due to the Coronavirus I'm trying to cancel my flight more then 3 weeks and no one answer the phone !!!!! I was trying to call the airlines and sent emails no one responded!

Vayama not responding to my flight cancellation request which was submitted via email as they requested on their site.
I booked my flight ticket to India through Vayama.com on 2/3/2020. Booking confirmation# ***.Total amount paid $***.
Now with corona virus concern, I am trying to get in touch with them via phone since last week without any luck. So now as per their website instruction, I request cancellation through email. I did it twice, but still no response from them. There is a standard email they sent after submit the cancellation request to confirm if I wish to proceed, obviously I replied to those emails saying yes please proceed.
But no response, my travel date is Mar 27th, if they don't cancel on time I will loose all my money. Please treat it as urgent and call me XXX-XXX-XXXX if need any additional details to resolve my cancellation issue and headache.

Desired Outcome

Please cancel and refund the amount to my credit card ASAP. THere should not be any cancellation charge as confirmed by Qatar airlines due to corona virus and existing travel ban to India.

Worst service I've ever dealt with in my whole entire life tried to cancel reservations within 24 hours of making them but they would not answer their phone it took five days before I got a person on the phoneHe was one of the most rude individuals I've ever spoke with who represents any company And then he lied to me about my insurance just to get me off the phone did not want to hear that just was the first time I was able to talk to anyone from his company kept on threatening me he was going to hang up on me I was getting angry and by this time using profanity because of the frustration of dealing with This individual I then called the insurance company that's when I found out he was lying I contacted the airlines Korean air told them they did not like what I was saying that the lies that I was being told they told me there was nothing they could do for me because they're not the ones who Booked my flight

They have stop answering their phones. I can't get anyone to either get a voucher or a refund for my trip to Greece on Tuesday March 17, President has banned flights to Europe and my Dr told me I can't fly or be around many people I have a compromised immune system. Who doesnt answer their phones or answer emails

I booked a flight through BudgetAir. Upon realizing the booking was made in error I called BudgetAir to rectify. I should note that I have made numerous (5-6)phone calls and wait on average 1+ hours each time to speak with someone each time. My purchase included insurance in case of change and cancellation. I was told that the cancellation to be covered by this was only for the administrative fee associated with cancellation. They also told me that my ticket is nonrefundable so cancelling would mean no returned money to me. Why would you offer someone the assurance that they would be able to cancel their flight but not be able to use the purchased upgrade for the intended use. I have been told that the issue is with the airline (incorrect as the airline directed me to the travel agent each time) and that it is my fault for not reading their fine print and there is nothing they can do. I feel like this is purposely deceptive. I spoke with a call rep who told me they are limited to 10minutes on the phone with each person and I have been hung up on three times. I feel they have been deceptive in the upgrade I purchased as it purported to give me piece of mind that I could make a change to my flight. At no time of purchase did they mention that this was a nonrefundable ticket and the fact that this was a 'bulk ticket' purchased by BudgetAir limited my ability to make changes with the airline directly.

Also, one call rep said to me 'I am removing our control from your ticket so you can go through the airline directly. This means you should not call us anymore". I then called the airline only to find out this was a blatant lie and no such administrative change exists.

Post review, see that insurance product would be applicable only for involuntary situations or due to medical reason etc.
As per our record, you basically wanted to re route the ticket to AKL where in the agent on call advised there are no valid fares as UA had no applicable one way fares.
Later based on your request is when the agent on call updated remarks stating airlines is allowed to make changes if possible to help the customer.
As per the ticket fare rules mentioned before and after booking is done, states as non refundable in case of cancellation.
However,I do see that UA have now provided change fee waiver for all destinations, hence if you wish to change the travel dates please contact us.

Have requested a full refund several times for travel to an area that is quarantining travelers. No response from Vayama, no way to reach anyone.
I purchased 3 business class tickets on Dec. 30, 2019 from LAX - TLV for travel on March 21, 2020. Israel has announced quarantine restrictions for all travelers that enter the country due to Corona Virus. I have a Turkish airlines ticket and Turkish airlines has announced that they are refunding and waiving all cancellation fees for flights to Israel through March 31. I have tried to call Vayama on several occasions to have my flight canceled. I get hung up on after hours of waiting on hold. And now the call center has been closed for 2 days. I have sent several cancellation requests and several emails with no response about cancelling my trip. I am to be traveling in one week and am concerned of becoming a no show for my flight and having no recourse. I need someone to respond and execute my cancellation request immediately. Vayama's business practices and lack of customer care is appalling. I am completely in the dark if this company will cancel my itinerary in the time necessary and if I will receive a refund for my purchase of $***. It is my right to receive a full refund due to not being able to travel to the country that I am scheduled to travel to and Turkish Airlines cancellation policies. In addition Turkish airlines cancelled my flight to Israel and put me on a flight 3 hours earlier. The only way I can cancel my ticket is through the third party Vayama who has completely disappeared. If I do not receive contact immediately I will be disputing all charges with my CC. My booking number is
VUS-XXXXXXXX. I have learned my lesson booking with a third party and will never make this mistake again.

Vayama still hasn't processed my refund request since feb 19, 2020
I purchased 5 tickets for thetotal price of $*** in may 2019 for travel from manila to geneva, prague to manila with both layovers in china. Travel date april 3 to 16, 2020. But philippines imposed travel ban to china due to covid19 outbreak, so china eastern airlines who issued the tickets offered full refund on these flights which can be read in their website. I called vayama on feb 19 to request full refund, they sent me the cancellation confirmation the same day which also says they will start the refund process. It is now 3 wks later and still no update. I tried contacting vayama cs which is supposed to be open 24/7, but now it's been closed for 2 or 3 days. I contacted china eastern to get help. I was told vayama never filed a request for refund so they cant issue the refund. China eastern instructed me to call vayama again. I have been calling every hour to see if they reopen but they are still closed. I have also sent multiple emails to them since last week to get update on my refund, but no reply also.

I want vayama to cancel my booking and refund me for full amount of $*** asap please. China eastern advised me to get the tickets cancelled right away since flight date is almost near.

I spoke with china eastern airlines today and they confirmed my reservation has been fully refunded on march 23. I will wait for my refund for now but I hope it wouldn't take so long. I hope vayama will keep me updated thru my email. Thank you Revdex.com.

Vayama has not responded to multiple emails, calls and tweets to them to cancel a Qatar airways flight booked. Their 24x7 support is "closed".
I purchased a flight ticket to India from Vayama on 12th Feb 2020 for $693. The booking was for Qatar Airways flight from Chicago(ORD) to Mumbai(India).
On March 9th due to the travel advisory issued by Qatar airways, I wanted to reschedule / cancel my flight. Qatar Airways has announced free re-scheduling / refund (via. a voucher) for travelers. I tried reaching Vayama via their contact +X XXX XXX XXXX. I was on their "hold" for 1 hour before it hung up. I tried the same # 3 times with no response.
I emailed them about the cancellation but with no response. I cancelled my ticket via their website but have not received any response. Qatar airways is not responding to any query too.
Vayama has not responded to any queries via email, tweets and their 24x7 phone lines are now "closed". There is no way to contact them or get to know the status of my refund / cancellation.

Refund to the full amount of $693.

Contacted about changing or refunding tickets however Customer Service refused to interact with me.
Was trying to contact customer support about exchanging or refunding tickets for March 6, 2020 due to the COVID 19 global pandemic however was only about to talk to one representative after multiple attempts. Contacted on March 3, 2020 after CDC recommendation to limit travel due to having a small child; under 3 years of age. Had multiple calls picked up and then immediately disconnected without talking to a representative, and when I was able to actually talk to a person they told me repeatedly to contact the airline despite informing them I had already done so.

We purchased the above Asiana Airlines ticket, Seattle to Bangkok, Thailand through Vayama. Asiana cancelled the flight, without penalty, due to coronavirus. We are entitled to a refund. Asiana says Vayama must process the refund since they sold us the ticket. They said Vayama can verify there was no penalty by emailing:
*** and requesting a waiver code, mentioning a schedule change, Inchon to Bangkok. Vayama, as the travel agent selling the ticket, must do this. Asiana will not deal directly with us.

We have made numerous attempts to contact Vayama by both phone and email. Their only response is to say they are busy. No one from Vayama has contacted us or made any effort to process our refund.

Desired Outcome

We are seeking a refund from Vayama of $1,196. That is the amount paid for Asiana Airline tickets, cancelled without penalty.
