Our flight was booked by vayama and came to India but when we checked our flight online there was no flight to go back to USA as per Qatar airline vayama had cancelled our flight and never reissued. And now after sending so many emails they still didn't issue any flight to go back and we are stuck in Delhi India with no flight. We are going to call our credit card which we used to pay our ticket. Please help us to reach this travel company . We need to go back to USA as soon as possible. We booked our ticket in dec. 27 2019 and they cancelled our flight three times and never reissued as per conversation with Qatar airline.

Desired Outcome

We want our ticket to be issued today or tomorrow or refund our money to our credit card.

Schedule changes are always made by the airline, not by us. The airline is responsible for the transportation of the client to the destination which the client has originally purchased. However, airlines have the right to make changes to the flight schedule at any time.

Although schedule changes are made by the airline, we do our best to help you in the 'processing' of your schedule change. Such modifications always require a follow-up. It is never possible to maintain your original flight.

Vayama as of 3/11/2020 has closed down their call center and is not answering questions from customers. On 3/9/2020 I called with a request to change my flight which was originally scheduled to go to Greece and was met with a very rude operator (Eric) who hung up on me in the middle of my call after I asked about switching the flight. I *** not be using this unfortunate business in the future.

I've been trying to get a hold of someone in Vayama to cancel our flight or at least rebook it. For some reason, My name says (null) next to it. My ticket looks good. All the passenger *** are there correctly. But I can't get a quote for one ticket cancellation. Also, it *** take them two days to respond. My flight is in 4 days. Due to the coronavirus and the unexpected rise of cases in our destination, I had no choice but to try to cancel. But I can't even cancel or rebook. I'm not even sure if they *** at least honor my travel insurance and give us a refund. I'm ok with waiting for an hour over the phone. But they have actually closed their office.

Trying to *** my business class ticket for last 4 days and have received no response to emails, cancellation form and phone line says the service *** is ***. Airline *** it because it is an agent ticket. These guys *** cost me thousands of dollars. They are ***.

I have been trying to contact them for over two weeks to reschedule flights until it's safe to do so due to corona virus. VUS-XXXXXXX. No response yet
I have attempted to call Vayama at *** multiple times Over the past couple of weeks and I either wait for over an only for the call to drop or service center closed. I tried emailing and no response. I'm schedule to fly with an infant and a three year old along with my wife to London U.K. but due to corona virus, I don't feel safe putting my family at risk. I've contacted American Airline and they advise to that I have to go through Vayama as ticket was booked through them. All I want to do is rebook my flight to a later date until I'm told it's safe to travel.

I would like to reschedule for a later date and if that's not possible then get a refund that's reasonable.

Firstly, the booking number mentioned is a past dated one however I found your existing booking number VUS-XXXXXXXX.
Post revise, see that the booking for 18th Mar has been cancelled which means you can contact us back once you have your new travel date.
Currently we are facing high call and email volumes and we are trying our best to answer to our customers at the earliest.
Note: Airlines provides 1 time change fee waiver, however any fare difference for new date would be applicable.

Requested refund due to coronavirus (airline confirmed refund available). No response to emails or calls. Line disconnects after an hour on hold.
Purchased two tickets to Korea for March 19, 2020. Emailed requesting a change of flights at first, and later a full refund once airline confirmed we were eligible full refund due to corona virus. Airline directed us to contact Vayama to process the refund. No response to several emails. Customer service line either disconnects right away, or puts us on hold for a full hour before disconnecting (happened multiple times). Flight is in 10 days. Need refund and cancellation ASAP.

Booked a flight through Vayama that I need to cancel and get a refund and they have shut down their support center.
I booked a flight to Tokyo, Japan through Vayama on EVA airlines for the date of March 14th. I need to cancel my trip because of the Coronoavirus. My flight is eligible for a full refund, however I have been trying to contact Vayama for a week now every day to cancel the flight and get my refund, but they are not responding to any emails and they have shut down their customer call center. I can not contact them in any way. Even the emergency number they have set up is offline. I don't know what else to do as the flight is in 4 days and I CAN NOT REACH THEM.

I would like Vayama to contact me and cancel my flight and process the refund that I am owed before the flight is supposed to leave on March 14th.

As per record, see that the booking was cancelled and FULL REFUND has already been processed on the 11th Mar. Due to high refund requests there might be some delay however rest assured you can expect the credit to appear within next 2-3 weeks.

Vayama seems to be doing what they can in this epidemic we are facing. It's frustrating. However this isn't first reservation I had problems with. My hotel was also hard to cancel due to travel restrictions in Southern Asia. I would love to say how long my hold times have been, butI realize all travel related businesses are getting hit really hard. I'm trying to be a little more patient. It's hard for ppl to see this when money's involved. I realize it's going to take time. Heck there probably overwhelmed with calls and refunds.

I have requested online cancellation quotes for 2 booking numbers several times over the past 2 weeks and have received no quotes or return emails.

received email from Vayama stating one of the two bookings (VUS-***) was eligible for a full refund and asked that I confirm that I would like for it to be canceled. I Responded that I CONFIRM as well as noted I have a second booking (VUS-*** ) which also still needs to be canceled

Vayama completely unresponsive to refund/cancellation requests due to coronavirus. I paid $***+ for two return tickets that should be refunded.
I purchased 2 Turkish Airline return tickets San Francisco to Lahore on Feb 2. Vayama booking #***-XXXXXXXX, Turkish booking #***.

Because of coronavirus situation, I had to cancel the tickets. I've requested Vayama several times but they're completely unresponsive. They're not returning emails, their customer support line isn't working at all, their Facebook page is full of dozens of similar comments. People have several thousands of dollars held hostage by this company.

After I reached out to their CEO and other executives on LinkedIn, they resolved the situation.

Actually they have no customer support. I tried calling them and they won't answer. I emailed them and no response. This is absolutely, the worst experience I have ever had, and I have decided never in the future *** I use their service and I *** make sure that neither my friends and relatives *** ever book tickets from this website.
There was no option to select 0 star, coz I would have selected that.

I have been unable to get Vayama on the phone to cancel my flight. I am put on hold for an hour and then disconnected. I have also tried email and facebook but haven't received a response. Don't think I'll be able to cancel, unfortunately. I would avoid this travel agency.

I spoke with our airlines who cancelled my itinerary because of the coronavirus and told me the 100% refunded the card that it was charged to. Vayama has received the refund and I can not get one reply from the company. They are obviously a fraudulent company with fraudulent employees, equal to Bernie ***. The owner and employees of this company should be in jail. This is an absolute disgrace and I feel for the people who spend their annual savings planning a trip with this company.

We book the flight tickets through Vayama website for the trip to China on 01/22/2019, and the flight was canceled due to the lockdown of Coronavirus outbroke in China, Vayama didn't send us any notice nor rearrange a different flight for us. We had been trying to contact them for getting our money back ever-since on 01/24/2019, but our phone never be answered, and we still haven't get a penny back yet.
This is the worst online flight ticket purchasing that ever happened to us. We lost 1k for nothing.

I bought my spouse and son's flight tickets to India. I paid for the seats, but one of the seats were not booked as per the airline. I tried to call customer service and emailed them multiple times to look into the issue. There was no response from Customer Service number even after an hour of wait time.

I've used Vayama for a few years now and have had minimal issues with booking and changing flights. That is, up until this last trip. I requested a change to my trip and I got an email saying they *** respond WITHIN 2 days and its been over TWO WEEKS. I sent another change request a week ago and still NO REPLY. I've called and waited an hour a few times and they just hang up at that point. I'm frustrated and this is really changing my mind about using vayama in the future. Just disappointed and stressed about loosing money since I can't change because they won't answer!

Poor Support Through Covid-19 Outbreak
I always take things with a grain of salt and try to look into the positives of everything but I cannot find a single one with Vayama, unfortunately.

It's a trying time with the uncertainty of Covid-19, and I get that. Being on hold for an hour was the least bit of my frustration. What really had me frustrated was that I had originally booked two tickets from Kayak directly from Air Canada from Portland, OR to Ho Chi Minh City, by way of Air Canada through Vancouver B.C. and Seoul, South Korea as stopovers.

I then booked an additional ticket for my sister on the same flights through Kayak but this time, it was through the intermediary Vayama.

Air Canada currently has a goodwill policy that'll allow customers who are transmitting through South Korea to rebook free of charge. I didn't mind waiting on the phone for Air Canada's customer service for 2 hours, but at least they were able address my concerns and rebook me on a flight to Ho Chi Minh City from Portland, OR by way of Tokyo, Japan free of charge in accordance with their goodwill policy.

When I had contacted Vayama's customer service to change my sisters flight to the same one I just rebooked with Air Canada to ensure my sister wouldn't have to travel alone. The Vayama customer service representative had stated that because there is no flight serviced by Air Canada from Tokyo to Ho Chi Minh City, we cannot rebook your flight. I get it, you're a travel agency which may limit what access you have in rebooking flights from different airlines, so I asked if the Vayama customer service representative would be able to find an Air Canada flight from Tokyo to Ho Chi Minh around the travel dates I laid out. The customer service representative said no there are not.

So I reconfirmed that the two options Vayama would best support their customers with is to cancel a non-refundable ticket, wait to see if the flight gets cancelled in order to receive a refund or travel to South Korea, in which the United States CDC and State Department has a level 3 warning for (avoid all non-essential travel), she said yes and that has left me hopeless in Vayama's ability to support their customers in a trying time such as the Covid-19 outbreak.

I express high disappointment with Vayama, and believe this may be my last time utilizing their service. It just bewilders me that in accordance to their goodwill policy that Air Canada is able to re-accommodate, while Vayama cannot honor such policy laid out by the airline through unforeseen circumstances.

I hope whoever may be reading this reconsiders the next time they book through Vayama to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

I had booked a flight from Korea to Delhi and return and due to Coronavirus scare . I canceled all my booking and asked for refund and cost given to me for 45 usd by airline and 100 usd service fee .. I was told refund is issued just need to pay the service charge .. I tried numerous times the system keeps decling my card and I emailed vayama more than 17 times to give me alternative or do something as mode of payment is declined by link given to me . I called them on phone with so busy all the time last time I was online on international call for one hour 30 minutes spend 69 usd on phone .I begged and ask for reply on emails and they stopped now replying me anything. worst is I have never seen customer care which don't care about customer hard earned money even I am sending them mails every day with no response .. it has been 14 days of emailing them everyday with no response or help . Now I have no way of reaching them at all with my money with them ..never in my life I had experienced the travel service doing this to customer .. I work in hospitality as well myself and never did to my customer .. my booking is is VUS XXXXXXXX...

Horrible experience with Vayama. I'm trying to cancel a flight ticket and cannot get in touch with a human being.
