Vivint Solar Reviews (2526)

Vivint Solar has contacted the Complainant. We are currently working towards a satisfactory resolution.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: even though we have heard some progress has been made, we have heard that many times before by numerous e-mails that we received fromtheir representatives.    We've contacted our utility company and they have provided us with a list of many questions regarding safety issues that have not been completed by Vivent. We have forwarded these questions to Vivent.  At this time, we are not ready to close this claim, but feel arbitration is not necessary right now.  Time will tell!
Sincerely,
have heard nothing from them since yesterday morning

I am rejecting this response because:  the work is still under way.  Vivint resolution dept has been in contact with us and we are still working on resolution and completion of work on my house.  We still do not have a contact name as our account manager for continued support during our lease agreement.
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Spoken with the contractor and they have not been contacted. Spoken with several Vivint reps and all I get is promises. Diligently working with State license board and Filed a bond.

Vivint Solar has attempted to reach out to the customer on multiple occasions to attempt to resolve the issue. We are waiting for the customer to return our calls or emails to resolve the issue.

We are currently working with the customer and have scheduled their final inspection for this coming week with them and their municipality.  We will discuss further the request for the compensation once we are able to get the certificate of completion and have progressed them to the final stage...

to turn on the system.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Again,...

nothing has been done regarding the pigeon problem or the system measurement issue. Once these issues have been resolved I will accept the response. I have worked with this company resolving issues in the past and they talk a good talk, but when it comes to action they are far from responsible.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Vivint Solar has again reached out to the customer on multiple occasions via telephone and email to attempt to resolve this issue but has been unable to contact the customer.

Vivint Solar is in communication with the customer, the previous response made was not intended for their complaint. Vivint Solar removed the solar panels on 5/9/2017 and the roof repairs have been completed. Vivint Solar is currently working with their third party contractor to complete the interior and siding repairs for the customer. Vivint Solar is also working with their scheduling department to schedule an appointment for their re installation of the panels. Aside from the original complaint, the customer has concerns regarding ground rods that were installed on their property. Vivint Solar is working with the local office to reinstall the ground rods so that it is not too exposed. Vivint Solar will continue working with the customer until all concerns that the customer has have been resolved.

Supervisor from Vivint Solar is working with the Customer. Vivint Solar is taking the necessary steps to get the account commissioned as soon as possible.

We have been in contact with the customer and have offered different solutions to help address the customer's concerns. At this time the customer is requesting a solution outside of the agreement terms. We will continue to offer alternative solutions but will not able to provide the desired resolution as stated in the complaint.

We are currently working with the customer and have an accepted plan of resolution in action.  We will continue to work to improve the customer's experience with Vivint Solar moving forward.

Vivint Solar completed an appointment at our customers home on 3/14/17.  The system is producing as designed and everything is in working order.

Vivint Solar does have a signed Prospective Customer Consent Form which is only for the authorization of the credit check.  What was signed on Cody's phone initially was only to check of our prospective customers credit history.  Once the credit history is obtained we can provide a quote...

for solar panel installation.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: It is now December 5th and Vivint finally sent an inspector to my home to survey the damage. The inspector ask me why did I wait so long to have them come? Funny I was wondering the same thing. Why did Vivint wait so long to send out an investigator? I am currently waiting to hear from Vivint after they review the inspectors report.
Sincerely,

Vivint Solar has requested that the customer provide us with the last 6 months of their utility bills so that we can determine a reasonable compensation for...

them. We have also requested of all parties involved with finalizing the process of making the solar system operational that they expedite the remaining requirements.

Vivint Solar has...

previously offered to compensate the customer for the system downtime. Vivint Solar was provided utility bills from the customer prior to installation of the panels, which were used in conjunction with the customer's square footage, to determine the customer system size. Customer has been unable to provide documentation from the sales representative stating that she would be able to remove the panels at her request and the sales representative is no longer employed by Vivint Solar. Per the terms of the signed contract, Vivint Solar is unable to remove the panels at the customer's request and is unable to lower the customer's price per kWh. Vivint Solar will continue to work with the customer to resolve their concerns.

The solar account has been cancelled per our customer's request.  We apologize about this incident, this is not how we do business here at Vivint Solar.  Our Sales Manager will be spoken with, and this incident has been recorded as an effort to prevent repeat offenses in the future.

Vivint Solar had difficulties in contacting the new owner of the home as it was purchased to be a rental property and the owner does not live in the area.  After working with the new home owner's property manager Vivint Solar was recently able to fully complete the transfer.  The original...

homeowner will be refunded the two and a half months for which she was billed.
