Vivint Solar Reviews (2526)

Vivint Solar is in constant communication with the customer. As dictated by the customer's signed Power Purchase Agreement, they have two options when selling their property; they can purchase the system or transfer it to the new buyer. Vivint Solar and the customer are working towards a...

resolution within the terms and conditions of the agreement.

Vivint Solar at this time remains firm that cancellation is not approved however our number 1 goal is to work with the customer and resolve all of their concerns.  In order to do so, we have asked that our customer forward along her electrical bills from the utility company for the past 12 months.  The customer confirmed she will be sending these for our review, she is sending them via normal mail so the process will take longer than general.  Once the bills are received, a full analysis will be performed, we do believe that our customer is experiencing unrealized savings. We are committed to continuing to work with our customer towards a resolution that remains within the terms of the agreement.

We reached out to the customer to clear up any confusion with our recent response. We will continue to reach out to him until the concern is resolved.

In the state of California, Vivint Solar is required by the State to record a "Notice of an Independent  Solar Energy Producer Contract" using a form provided by the CA Public Utilities Commission.  The State clearly defines the filing as having no lien, encumbrance, or title defect...

against the real property.  When the customer notified Vivint Solar that his reverse mortgage company had questions about the filing, Vivint Solar reached out to the lender and reverse mortgage company in question.  Vivint Solar quickly explained the filing, referred the company to the CAPUC website and sent a business letter to the mortgage company stating that Vivint Solar does not have any security rights on the real property and that the only interest relates to the ownership and maintenance of the solar photovoltaic system.  Vivint Solar recently confirmed that the customer's reverse mortgage should proceed without incident.

We are not moving on in the process because of VIVINT. The lender will not fund the loan because of vivints greediness charging 34000 dollars for a less than stellar system. Thanks to VIVINT this deal is bombing.  Shows what type of company they really are.

Vivint Solar reached out to the customer to address their concerns and a specialist has been assigned to work directly with them. We have conducted an over production analysis that is currently under review. Vivint Solar will stay in constant contact with the customer to work toward a resolution...

within the terms and conditions of the agreement

Vivint Solar has investigated the reported roof leak and determined that the damage was not caused by the installation of the Solar system. Vivint Solar has communicated this information with the customer.

Vivint Solar has reached out to the customer regarding their complaint on 12/2. We emailed the customer to schedule a date and time to go over their system concerns. Vivint Solar has also mailed out the customer his check on 12/2. Vivint Solar will continue to reach out to the customer and work with them to come to a resolution within the terms of the contract.

An appointment to visit the home has been scheduled, Vivint Solar will be visiting the home to assess our customers concerns further.  Our visit will be to determine if there are any issues with the system or the installation.  Regarding the radiation concerns, this is a rather unheard of...

concern.  Further investigation will be taking place on the radiation matter.

Vivint Solar has made an offer to the customer that is outside the terms and conditions of the agreement in the form of an amendment. Therefore, an additional document is required to be signed to uphold this service.

Viivnt Solar's Customer Success Department reached out to the customer regarding the complaint.  We called the customer on 3/29 and informed them that we are currently waiting on the Utility company to issue Permission to Operate. Vivint Solar will continue to work with the customer to come to...

a resolution within the terms of the contract.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. IF Vivint DID in fact discuss the inappropriate conversation between their representative and myself and coach him in what should have transpired, then I'm satisfied with the outcome.  That specific representative is NO longer on my case, which is what I requested.  I appreciate the willingness of Vivint trying to correct an awful and VERY unprofessional situation.
Sincerely,

We are currently working on a resolution with the customer.

Vivint Solar has reach out to the Customer and will be repairing the roof damages. Southern California Edison should be granting Permission to Operate the system within 3-4 weeks.

Complaint: [redacted]
I have rejected the response with regard to compensation for 6 months. I have asked for compensation for the past year. In...

addition, I have clarified all work will be either completed by our contractor and/or Vivint on our approval if we go with Vivint. and that all items listed below are a result in damages on Vivint's behalf. List of items that need to be fixed are fencing, stucco redone (recoated, painted, etc.), tiles replaced that are missing, broken, not glued together and protective paper like barrier that goes underneath the tiles, be replaced in the areas that are missing. The paper like barrier stops the water from entering through the roof and causing water damage. At the last two installs, the protective water barrier was removed and not replaced.
Sincerely,

Vivint Solar is still working on a solution to this issue. Delays are expected during the holidays, but prompt attention to this customer's concerns will continue until a solution is found.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because Vivint Solar continues to charge me for solar power not generated despite most recent response provided. Reference attachment for yet another unjustified bill.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Vivint Solar was able to go over the Buyout Agreement with the customer, which serves as the proof of purchase/receipt. Vivint Solar was also able to send the customer an email containing the "Welcome Packet" which includes the Part Numbers and Manufacture information for the equipment installed on...

the property.

Our Fleet Performance department has attempted to reach out to the...

customer to schedule an appointment.  A follow up email was sent after a voicemail was left on the primary contact phone number on the account.  The Fleet Performance will attempt to contact the customer again tomorrow.  We welcome the customer to reply to the email sent, with a time that would be best to contact them, so that we can ensure that contact is made.
