To Whom It May Concern:

WageWorks is a provider of tax-advantaged programs for consumer-directed health, commuter and other employee spending account benefits, or CDBs, in the United States. We provide these services to the employee...

participants of our employer clients pursuant to service contracts with the employers. We do not sell our services to the general public, and do not have individual service agreements with employee participants.
The operation of these CDBs and the related appeals processes are governed by various federal laws and regulations including the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, or HIPAA, and related state laws.
While we appreciate being notified of any complaints, our employer clients and their employee participants are advised to resolve any issues by contacting their customer service representative, our call center or, ultimately, a member of our team. We promptly respond to all issues and strive to resolve every concern to the employee participant's satisfaction. We have notified the employee participant's employer client of the complaint and are taking appropriate steps to resolve it through the appropriate channels.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response from WageWorks simply restated the facts I asserted in my Revdex.com complaint. The only "new" information provided is that the credit they have from my commuter card will be reconciled with Insperity (my employer). But she could not tell me by when, could not tell me who I could contact who would know. She also told me to contact my employer and tell it to contact the WageWorks liaison. She also could not tell me who or at what number that liaison could be contacted, so I did not have that information when I called Insperity to tell them such (which I did today, 12.4.2015). Therefore, there has been no resolution. Everything is still just as it was when I started this Revdex.com complaint. WageWorks still has my money, still has not given it as a credit back to my employer, and still has no plan or date for when anything may be done. The only change is that WageWorks instructed me (why can't it do this rather than having the customer do so) to contact my employer about contacting WageWorks.

As mentioned in my reply, WageWorks certainly has NOT promptly responded to my issues and has NOT resolved my concern, hence the reason I have sought the Revdex.com's help in resolving my complaint.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is not true, I have been dealing with the customer call center for the past 6 months because I did not get my original issue resolved. At first I was trying to load the money onto my SmarTrip card and it never worked, after 3 failed attempts at their systems supposedly not working, I was given two commuter cards that again failed to work to load the money on my commuter card through the SmarTrip kiosks. They are obviously bidding time to keep from giving the consumers their money back because I DID try to work with the customer service reps and every time I call I speak to someone different that is not familiar with the previous calls and claims I have done something wrong. It is a scam and they should not be allowed to continue doing business claiming they help their customers because they do not. I have googled the company and have found well over 100 complaints about the SAME type of issue. So if there is anything to be said for that it is that they need to discontinue the scam and give the customers the money they stole from them immediately.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Wage works response is typical of my entire experience with them. Words and no action, this is the same you receive when you ask Wage works to "provide" services they are contracted to.
Wage works clearly states they "WageWorks is a provider"
This is not true as they steal funds that are paid to them by Employees for REQUIRED MEDICAL services and then hide behind reams of supposed legal requirements.
My case stands as it has, Wage works has $1500.00 of my money that cannot be used for required Medical Treatment. They have solely decided they do not want to do their jobs to verify providers or to accept receipts from providers. They utilize made up and ever changing standards regarding their acceptance of receipts, authorized Medical care or procedures.
Wage works has locked access to MY FUNDS and will play the waiting game until the end of the year when remaining funds I have not (cannot) used will be forfeited to Wage works.
This is nothing more than an elaborate criminal enterprise.
I have provided Wage works the (onerous and scatterbrained) documents requested multiple times and they refuse to release my account for use.
Their response is a "closed loop". Responses are canned stating "IRS, Hippa or some other supposed requirements that require Wage Works to enforce IRS Code and how they interpret it and no resolution is offered.
This matter is not settled and I maintain Wage works is a criminal enterprise stealing Medical care funds and in turn endangering my HEALTH.
It is my intention to see this through to its conclusion by any and all means available.

Good morning,
No resolution has occured or been offered. My money remains locked and in the possesion of Wage Works. They refuse to accept reciepts or directly contact providers.
They have stolen my money and have no intention of releasing my funds.
I have had to deffer medical care and prescription purchases due to the theft of my money by Wage works.
Is this the affordable health care death panel?
No resolution offered or accepted.
