Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because this is the exact response they offered the first time and offers no resolution to the complaint and does not address my request for a letter stating my COBRA coverage expires 3/31/2017, by law, thus keeps me from obtaining medical insurance from another provider effective 4/1/2017.  By their refusal, WageWorks is knowingly disabling me from having medical insurance and causing a lapse in my coverage.Sincerely,[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Their response is simply a form letter.
Fortunately, they finally agreed to contact BCBS to inform them that our insurance is, indeed, NOT terminated. Of course, this took an escalation on the BCBS side who personally took it upon herself to find a party at WageWorks willing to make the correction.
This finally occurred the day before the scheduled surgery.
Thanks BCBS!

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
As I noted the issue has been resolved, thanks to Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Please note the WW's responses are nothing more than identical form letters. While they ask us to contact them to help resolve disputes they only provide contact info for entry level employees who are allowed no latitude in resolving issues.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
This is the same canned response I got the first time, and speaks volumes to the lack of care and attention that Wageworks gives to its customers. This continues to show the disrespect I consistently receive when interacting with this company. I'm spoken to two customer service agents, two of their supervisors, and whoever the woman was who contacted me after I filed my initial complaint with the Revdex.com, all of whom gave very different stories to my same inquiry/complaint, yet all of whom did unanimously treat me with little effort, care or with customer service in mind.
The fact that Wageworks is giving the same cop-out answer about HIPPA laws while this is a financial and public matter, not to mention that Wageworks is not a health PROVIDER, is a poor excuse and further evidence that they have no real defense to the mistake made for crediting my 2015 FSA account, which alerted me to submit a 2015 claim which has been rejected. The proof is in my account that my 2015 FSA account had a positive balance and Wageworks is not owning up to their mistakes.
I'm glad their poor responses to my Revdex.com complaint will now be public record, and will show how they made little attempt to resolve my issue, and also show much they didn't care or even bother to read my submissions, by not addressing the specific points I made in my complaint and first response. Wageworks is a terrible company with poor customer service and lack of sensitivity training.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The issues are several; WageWorks consistently, beginning back in April, sent notices of my COBRA eligibility to Cigna by FAX. Thus, am I satisfied by the response? NO, because WageWorks people did not use good reasoning to solve a problem that has lasted for seven months.
In MULTIPLE conversations between the two - Cigna and WageWorks - this issue was addressed. WageWorks persisted in sending, during August, September and October, the notices consistently by FAX. I was included in the (lengthy) calls between Cigna and WageWorks. It was mentioned that the directions were to use FAX.
However, several times, the WageWorks rep's said, "Yes, we've send it electronically" or "Yes, we'll phone it to Cigna." It did not happen. Now, if WageWorks is following the process described (erroneously when it was set up) by my former employer to FAX, then its representatives should NOT make promises that they can't keep. I find it odd that someone from WageWorks' eligibility dept. did not call my former employer and say something to the effect of, "We were instructed by you (2 years prior) to use FAX for Cigna; would you revise your instructions."
I contacted the Administrator for Payroll/Benefits at my former employer. He has contacted the WageWorks account rep. and will ensure that this is handled as quickly as possible, in the correct fashion.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
To the point of the letter - as an "employee participant" I did call WageWorks Customer Service - first to find out the balance and terms of using the balance and I was misdirected. I was not informed of any time limits on using MY MONEY. When I tried to use the remaining balance of MY MONEY namely $19.00 - the Transit card was denied at the point of purchase, namely MetroCard in NYC.
I called WageWorks Customer Service to find out why I could not use the remaining $19.00 - the Customer Service answer was totally different. This time they told me the money "EXPIRES" after 90 days. I requested that the balance be returned to me by check - less the taxes - WageWorks refused. I ALSO CONTACTED my former employer to tell them of this - they were issued no refund either. I want my WAGES returned to me less any appropriate taxes. Money does not and should not "EXPIRE".
Please send me my money or a $19.00 Transit Card.
Sincerely,

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. WAGEWORKS KEPT $19.00 OF MY PRE-TAX WAGES FOR USE ON A COMMUTER CARD. ONCE I WAS NO LONGER WORKING FOR THE EMPLOYER - THOSE DOLLARS SHOULD HAVE REMAINED AVAILABLE TO ME AS PROMISED. INSTEAD WAGEWORKS HAS A 90-DAY MONEY EXPIRATION (FROM SEPARATION WITH ISSUING EMPLOYER) THAT THEIR OWN REPRESENTATIVES DID NOT INFORM ME OF WHEN I CALLED TO CHECK ON THE STATUS. AFTER WHICH THEY KEPT MY MONEY. I WANT MY $19.00 BACK (REDUCED FOR APPLICABLE TAXES) NOW. THIS IS THEFT BY TAKING - MONEY DOES NOT EXPIRE. DO THE RIGHT THING AND SSUE THE REFUND AND CHANGE THE POLICY. MY MONEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE TO ME ON THE COMMUTER CARD. YOU HAVE STOLEN MY MONEY AND I WANT IT BACK. THERE IS NO REASON YOU CANNOT ISSUE REFUND. IN FACT - YOU'VE DONE IT BEFORE. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK - THIS IS CORPORATE STEALING AND I THINK YOU ARE QUITE AWARE YOUR REPUTATION IS NOT GOOD IN THIS REGARD. SINCERELY, [redacted]

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The business response recommends resolving this through the appropriate channels, by "contacting their customer service representative, our call center or, ultimately, a member of our team." I have attempted on a number of occasions to resolve this issue through those avenues and have been summarily rebuffed. Because of the time sensitive nature of account, it is imperative that an account representative address my concerns. I do not mind if they resolve it through their usual channels, but I was unable to do so. Please have the business resolve these issues with me directly through the Revdex.com channel. Thank you.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I find it laughable that the company claims to "promptly respond to all issues and strive to resolve every concern to the employee participant's satisfaction."  I have now contacted the company 12 times since 4/12/16 to address this issue without resolution and have spent a total of 196 minutes on the phone with them (including hold time).  In no way is this considered a prompt response.  I have also involved my employer and third party administrator, so saying that they have now notified the employer client is pointless.  I have been repeatedly told that either something was processed incorrectly, or that it's unclear why something didn't process as it should have, and nobody has been able to give me a clear answer.  However, three separate people at WageWorks have told me that they can see in my account where the issue should have already been fixed.  At this point, any further delay by the company by "taking appropriate steps to resolve it through the appropriate channels" is in blatantly avoiding any attempt to actually resolve the issue, as I would expect that the 12 times I've been in contact with the company directly would have been considered the "appropriate channel."Sincerely,[redacted]

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have tried contacting Wageworks office several times and I have the phone records to prove it. I kept getting the run around and three times they placed me on hold for over 35 minutes and then hung up the phone. I have been very patient with the company for over three months now, I have done all that they have instructed and still no resolution. I have even asked to speak to a supervisor several times and I am always given the excuse that the supervisor is very busy. I do know of the service the company provides and the regulations they have to comply with, however, it is not acceptable the way my situation is being handled and their representatives providing incorrect information to their clients and wasting their time. This is not a loan I am asking for, this is money that I worked for that was placed into this account. I think I have been more than patient with this company, I want my money out of this account and to be done with this company and their deceiving representatives and their lack of concern to facilitate resolutions to assist their clients.

While we appreciate being notified of any complaints, our employer clients and their employee participants are advised to resolve any issues by contacting their customer service representative, our call center or, ultimately, a member of our team. We promptly respond to all issues and strive to resolve every concern to the employee participant's satisfaction. We have notified the employee participant's employer client of the complaint and are taking appropriate steps to resolve it through the appropriate channels.
Thank you.
