I am rejecting this response because:They keep saying to contact the third party.  I do not know or what they are.  Nicor changed the billing without my knowledge or my conscent.It should have never been changed.  I owned the property, not the third party.  Nicor had nooo reason to listen to a third party.  The bill was current and no problems.  Then the gas shutoff on the coldest day of the year.

Thank you for contacting Nicor Gas about your service concern.  We have reviewed your account and our records show a payment was applied in August of 2015, but there is no record of auto-pay on this account.  Our records also show that a letter was mailed in February 0f 2016 advising a...

deposit was applied to your account due to payments not received on time. A disconnection letter was mailed on 06/09/16 advising that your gas service could be disconnected between 06/18/16 and 08/01/16 if a payment was not received and a reminder phone call was placed on 06/15/16 and a voice message was left. The gas service was disconnected on 06/24/16 and payment in full was received later that day.  Once the service has been disconnected and the full payment has been made, we schedule the first available date to restore service.  The order to restore service is booked in the order in which we receive the request and can take up to 7 days to complete.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to address your concern.

Thank you for contacting Nicor Gas about your billing concern. We do apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced and for the confusion about being on auto-pay. Nicor Gas has reviewed our records and we show that you did make manual payments and even updated the expiration date on your credit card you had saved on file, unfortunately; there is no record of auto-pay ever being setup on this account. Along with mailing a copy of your bill that showed a past due balance, we also mailed a disconnected notice and tried to contact you by phone concerning your balance, but we never heard from you until after the service was disconnected. Based on this information we are unable to make any changes to your account.
