WebsiteBackup Company is committed to providing high quality backup solutions at a fair and competitive price. We have carefully checked our records and this person is NOT AN EXISTING CUSTOMER of ours. It has recently come to our attention that a commercial solicitation was sent out to businesses...
that may have caused some confusion. If any business has received a solicitation that was not marked "Bill" or "Invoice" they are under no obligation to pay. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and will no longer use that solicitation in the future.WebsiteBackup Company
I received an invoice dated 3/16/2015 in the amount of $70 for a Website Backup Service Plan. I did not order any such service from this company. the invoice does not indicate that this is just an opportunity for me to contract with them for this service and that the $70 will start the service.
I have called three times and each time I am sent to the voicemail due to an unusally high volume of calls. They have never returned my call. I have also sent an email regarding the invoice and have never had a response.
I believe this is a SCAM!
This business sent an invoice for $70.00 for a service Plan that looked just like an invoice that I pay to a lot of company's. It looks like a yearly due. I put it into my quickbooks and nothing came up which flaged me and I started asking around and no one in my office has ever heard of them. I tried to call them all week to ask why I was getting this and was put on hold and told they would call me back and I have not heard from them. They are just wanting me to send the money and then they will get back with me.
I received an invoice for websitebackup services which I di not apply for. I am getting the feeling that this company has sent out numerous invoices in the past and many businesses may have paid the invoice not knowing that their businesses did not authorize this service. I called the company offices and left a message regarding my company never ordering this service and received no response from them. I also sent an email today informing the That I was contacting you and reporting their activities.

This company sends you a bill hoping you will just pay it. I never have signed up for their service and I never will. Very unethical.
We received a very real looking invoice in the mail for $70.00. We own a small auto repair business, so we were suspicious. We manage our own web hosting site via GoDaddy, so we knew confidently this charge was not valid. We had never engaged this company. Out of curiousity, I tried to call the company. As suspected, a recording. As a result, we filed this invoice in the trash. Be aware of this scam. Shameful. I can only imagine how many business owner pay the invoice completely unaware.
Received a false invoice mailing from this company.
We received an invoice for $70. We have never used this company. I noticed on the back of the statement mixed in with an entire page of writing there is a cancellation police that stats that sign up date is considered the date the company receives your payment and there are no refunds.
I came on this site to see if others were experiencing the same scam from this company as we have - and apparently this is the case. They are randomly sending out invoices to small businesses, billing them for $70 worth of annual services that were never ordered. THIS IS A SCAM AND IT IS NATIONAL. We are in Indiana. The Revdex.com needs to get the word out across the US in order that this company is shut down immediately. I wonder how many busy business owners just pay this, thinking someone else made the commitment? I also notice the Revdex.com states they have had numerous complaints; however, the site shows ZERO complaints have been filed. ?????
This business is an attempted MAIL-FRAUD SCAM. The invoice and return payment card are very real and do not state the required statement from the U.S. Postal Service that it is indeed a Solicitation for Services. Asking for payment by Check or money order and not answering calls is a dead give-away for fraud. Why can't our gov. put a stop to mail fraud????
Received an invoice at work today. This company stole at least 20 minutes of my time while I figured out it was a completely bogus invoice for services never asked for. Very deceptive practice they are indulging in...is this form of solicitation even legal? It shouldn't be.
Websitebackup has been a savior to our small retail shop! Our online store is the main source for shoppers to visit us from out of town and it out performs our retail store in profits. Two years ago we had a crash and lost thousands of dollars in sales over it. Now that we have Websitebackup our site has been able to stay up and recover from crashes easier than ever. We have had a very positive experience with Websitebackup. We would highly recommend them.
Our company received an invoice for services that were never ordered. When I called the number on the invoice, their message said they are experience longer than normal wait time and my call would be answered in 32 minutes, then it was followed by a message saying I was being transferred to the support team mail box and to leave my account number and call back information. I am concerned that this is a scam.
I own a small business. Received what appeared to be an invoice from WebsiteBackup Company for $70. There is no indication on the front side of the document that this is anything other than an invoice for a service plan already in existence. I never opened such a plan. Only upon very careful reading of the reverse side of the document does the ONE indication this is not an invoice appear "Sign up date is considered the date WebsiteBackup receives your payment." Grossly misleading.
I received a bill for $70.00 from this company and I did not hire them to do anything for me. Never even heard of them before. I tried to call but after 5 min. wait I was sent to voice mail. This is Very bad practice to send bills in hope that someone pays the bogus invoice so you can call them a customer!
Our business also received an invoice for $70.00 annual charge. I tried to call and there was a 21 minute wait time so I read the fine print under cancellations on the back. Very tricky. I bet they get many people hooked thinking it is a real invoice. Shame on them.
We received a scam bill from this company requesting a payment of $70.00 for services never rendered, complete with fake customer account ID.
Received a bill from this company for $70. I've never even heard of this company. The bill is for website backup for a year.
Someone needs to stop this company fast.
My company received a bill from this company. I did not contact them for service The bill makes it appear so. I have tried calling and am told that the wait time is 30 minutes... not going to happen. I did leave a message that I would report them to the Revdex.com. This is a scam....pure and simple.
