Weight loss grants have already accepted my documents and made an acception since they changed the contract after I had joined. I was promised my money once I met my target which I did. After multiple times contacting them they repeatedly told me that it would be soon. They used stalling tactics with the same story about having high number of applicants applying at the same time. I have lost the weight, confirmed by my doctor, by *** and accepted by weight loss grants all in order. I have messages from Weight loss grants saying that I will be paid soon, not in March 2019.

I have voice calls recorded stating from weight loss grants that I have been approved as of Oct 3rd 2018 and also have screen shots of messages from Weight loss grants saying the same, you have been approved and your cheque will be sent soon. After months had passed they stopped replying to me as to when my money would be sent . Since I have contacted the Revdex.com their story has changed. I may remind Weight loss grants that their policy of having applicants wait until their term was up was changed months after I applied They said that they would make an exception in my case, which they did by reviewing and approving my grant. That was months ago and then they went silent about everything. They forced me to take action and I must warn them that I have proof of my statements and will consider legal action along with media to expose their misleading and criminal and unjust practices. My contract never stated that I had to wait one year, in fact the rep at *** told me that I would be refunded once I completed my weight loss successfully and submitted all the forms required. I did all that I had to do and they acknowledged that all was in order and a cheque for $2140 would be mailed out soon. March 2019 is not soon especially when they said that everything was in order and approved Oct 3rd 2018.

The terms of our program have always held that applicant's grants are due at the time of their deadline.
We made exceptions and remitted grants when the weight was lost, instead of having the applicant wait until their deadline.
Unfortunately, this consideration was abused by both sponsors and applicants which created an untenable situation as we were no longer able to effectively mitigate our risk of loss for grant payments that were unearned or undeserved.
For example, if someone had just 20 lbs to lose, they would normally choose to lose it in about 5 or 6 months.
Instead, applicants started choosing 18 months to lose their weight, irrespective of the amount of weight they needed to lose, and then would request their grant at any time up to 18 months. (usually after 5 or 6 months)
In other words, they were abusing the system in order to take advantage of an undeserved consideration.
If we enforced the deadline provision, which we now do, then applicants would be more cautious when they select their deadline because they would not want to wait for 18 months to lose just 20 lbs in the example given and if they did lose the weight in just 5 or 6 months in the example given they would not want to risk putting the weight back on after 18 months.
Additionally, applicants would want their grant sooner if they could lose their weight sooner so now applicants choose a reasonable duration of time to lose their weight, which is usually 5 lbs a month.

Back in 2017 my dad had told me that I should apply for a weight loss grant to get my weight under control after having my daughter. I did, and I was approved instantly, everything seemed well.. I went in for a consultation and they needed 2100$ upfront but in two payments for my testing and the meal planning etc, so my mom had paid through her Visa card for the amount of 2100$ in two separate payments. My goal weight was I had to lose 40lbs to get 80% of the money put in back , I had a time line of 10 months to do so. I went in for my weight out and I didn't have a bowel movement so I was a pound off, I talked to my cordinator and she said it shouldn't be a big problem. Fast forward to a month after I emailed all of my documents off , and I was waiting. I sent an email and I'd get a automated email back telling me it changed to all online for a faster response. So I submitted everything once again, Aug 24th I contacted them and asked them about my file, they told me it was reviewed and approved so my cheque for the 80% back would be to me in 15 business days ... oct 4th I had called again because we haven't received the cheque yet, they told me I was in quiche for my cheque to be sent out, I was always being disconnected, or told that the cheque was on its way etc etc, or I need to talk to so and so, it is now Nov 13th of 2018 and I have not gotten a cheque or even an answer on what Is happening.. no straight answers, no one will answer my phone calls and it's been a lot longer then 15 buisness days.

I wanted to give a sincere thank you to the weight loss grant team. Their patience and expertise made it easy for me to navigate my way 'down' to a healthy and happier weight. Making myself accountable to someone was just what I needed to be successful after so many failed attempts to do this on my own. I am now waiting on my full refund (which is wonderful) however the better news is that I now have the skills to keep the unwanted weight off. Took 1 month from submitting final weigh-in proof to receive acceptance and approval. Weight Loss Grant approved for $908.65 on Oct. 3 with cheque to be issued within 15 days. I have contacted Program Mgr. 3 times since via their online portal and received slow responses that basically implies I am one of many awaiting payment.
As I fulfilled program requirements, I expect them to uphold their terms of contract -- make payment to me immediately.
Obtain verification that my payment has been processed and mailed to me.

After my final weight loss was submitted and amount to be paid to me was approved, I was told by the Program Mgr. that my cheque would be issued within 15 days. I do realize I have till Nov. 2019 to reach my weight goal, however at no time, nor anywhere in their documentation nor correspondence with me, am I informed that I would have to wait until Nov. 2019 to receive this grant award. If this is the case, why was I not informed of this when I made numerous enquiries as to when I would receive my cheque -- instead I have been told I am in the queue to have my cheque issued/they have a backlog currently. If all participants must wait till their 18 month timeframe is reached to receive their grant money, this should definitely be highlighted at inception. I would appreciate receiving an honest reply as to the timing of when my cheque will be issued.
I was accepted into the grant program, followed all the instructions and rules,chose a weight loss program that was listed as one of the eligible providers at the time of my acceptance into the weight loss grant program, lost the required amount of weight, requested to received my grant, submitted all the required documents, and waited for their response. After I had not received any communication from them, I started sending messages on the Message Board provided by their site with my login information. None of my messages were acknowledged. It has now been since September 20th and still no response as to the status of my grant. I am finding this to be unacceptable and very poor customer service. It seems as though they have discarded my file. My file # is 77RXXXXXXXX I am very unhappy with their lack of response.

The Weight Loss Grant organization was unclear as to how and when the grant could be requested and I had no idea that I had to wait until October of 2019 to be able to be considered to collect the grant money. I wish the details of this were more clearly stated. No one communicated the fact that even though I lost the weight and complied with the rules that there would be no grant money awarded until more that a year after. ***. It certainly doesn't inspire a timely weight loss. The adjudicator did make a phone call after I had submitted my complaint, and talked in circles about the fact that they had so many requests and were still only working on requests from earlier this year. I think this should be clearly outlined in their information when you sign up for their program, so you know what to expect. Disappointing to say the least.
I applied for the grant in October 2017, and met the goal to receive the grant in June 2018. I completed all the required paperwork, which ended up needing my doctor's signature not advised of this in the beginning. On June 27, 2018 I was notified all my documentation was received and complete. This documentation included a thank-you note for something I still have not received.
On July 23, 2018, I received notification that my grant was approved in the amount of $1920.00. Although I follow-up bi-weekly, I do not get a satisfactory response and there appears to be no escalation avenues. The business continues to advertise and accept grant applications. Please help. I paid for the program on credit, and they were aware, as this is one of the questions asked.

When I enrolled, May 6th, 2019 was the deadline for me to lose the weight. I was told I could request the grant when I met my goal and the other requirements. I have done this and my grant request has already been approved. I should not have to request it again, as this response indicates.

Weight Loss Grants was the incentive I needed to get through the final push to lose weight and keep it off. The Consultant assigned to me was very friendly and helped with the tenacity needed navigating the change to upload all files. While the monetary reimbursement was not the only incentive, but when I finally receive it, it will help offset the expenses of replacing my work wardrobe. Thank you.

Weight Lost Grant gave me all the tools to get my weight down. I did not focus on how fast but how I changed my way of eating. It was slow but steady and I lost my 44 pounds in the time allotted. It is the first time I did not feel pressured. They gave me alot of information on myself and the steady incouragement one on one. I word recommend them. With a dietician, a trainer, and a mentor, you get the help you need at your discretion. I finnaly know how much I can eat to maintain my weight. I am very happy with my life, I feel whole. I applied for the grant for weight loss program and was approved for a grant in the amount of 1.920.00
I have completed all the required information for the grant and even got a letter of approval on July 12, 2018 that the refund was approved and that the cheque would be forwarded within 2 to 3 days. I have contacted the company 3 times already to inquire about the cheque, and each time we have either been put on hold and ignored, have been yelled at and when we ask to speak to a manager, they are always in a meeting. I have the proof and all documentation related to the grant and it's approval if necessary.
We simply want the refund as promised and a note on record that the service provided is deficient and unacceptable. ***

The weight loss program was the incentive I needed to get started and to reach my goal weight. Certainly, there is an amount that I have to pay in order to have access to specialists and a support team, but a big chunk of it is coming back to me after reaching my goal. I'm grateful for the opportunity this has given me and for the assistance every step of the way.
The weight loss grant program helped me lose the 50 pounds I needed to lose yo be healthy :) I have been trying on and off for 4 years to lose baby weight and with the help of the *** clinic I was able to lose it and more! I am also really happy that *** will be helping me learn how to maintain my weight and not gain it back. Again thank you! The weight loss grant gave me the incentive and motivation to finally succeed!
First the positive: The Weight Loss Grant Program recommended a great weight loss clinic that allowed an 80% rebate through the program. I definitely would not have found the Dalewood Health and Wellness Clinic nor could I have afforded them without the help of the Weight Loss Grant Program - Thank you so much! I had tried every diet and exercise program I could find but just could not lose the extra weight until I hired Dalewood Clinic Oshawa/Pickering. Dalewood has professionals (dietitions, fitness specialists, coaches, etc) that developed a personalized program for me that worked!
Now the negative: After reaching my goal weight, the Weight Loss Grant Program's bureaucracy, poor communication and lack of sufficient staff resulted in it taking approximately 3 months to receive my Weight Loss Grant Program rebate cheque. It was supposed to take no longer than 30 days. I understand they have taken steps to try to resolve this problem for future clients.

I went through the weightloss program and completed the program after all the paperwork was submitted and completed I received an email saying the grant was approved and a cheque was being mailed out this was on July 5, 2018. On July 23, 2018 I phoned and they had said it was being mailed the same day July 23, 2018. It is now August 10, 2018 and I have made several calls and emails to *** the manager and she has not returned one call or email to update the whereabouts of my cheque. I find that very unprofessional that the office can't return calls or emails. I have documented all calls and emails and I have wasted so much time just asking one simple question that no one can answer. Every time I call they say they will expedite my message to *** and she has not answered me. They owe me $1920.00 for my grant which has been approved. I would like to see a resolution to this since they can't get back to anyone. Thank you

Hello - We posted a recent message advising that there is a short delay sending out grant cheques due to a shortage of staff because of the summer holiday. (People are on vacation)
We apologize for this delay. I can however confirm that ***'s grant cheque has been mailed, however because it is coming from Toronto and going to a small town in Alberta it may take a bit longer than if it was going from the same postal region.

Hi I would feel more comfortable accepting this response once I have received payment. I was told a cheque was mailed on July 23, 2018. I will close this once payment is received and I also thought the customer service was unacceptable. I only got a response from them once I took this avenue through the Revdex.com.

When you used the Funding Portal, you received an immediate response and we did not respond only because you opened a complaint here at the Revdex.com.
To be honest ***, that comment was unnecessary and a little insulting as we are giving you free money and would have replied to you right away if you used the Funding Portal. Please be nice :)
