Not a realistic exterior warranty I reported rust discovered on my vehicle below the driver's side doors to their representative agent I was told that rust is not covered unless it was caused by industrial fall out (whatever this is), bird droppings, insects, or tree sap Huh? Seems a little strange to have an anti-rust warranty that only covers a limited form of 'non-provable' rust damage--how does an insect rust a car anyway?
Oh, by the wayI clay bar and hand wax my truck two times a year With the exception of the rusted area the car is in mint condition--so it is no wonder they don't see how there is a defect in their product, it's the owners fault for properly maintaining his vehicle
Once I find the insect causing the rust, I will be sure to bag and tag it for Permaplates' investigation Until then, I think I use another option on my next vehicle

On September 16, I called company to file a claimThey said I had to file the claim on-line with I did on the same day A few days later a women called asking if I filed this complaint, YES I DID, a few days later received letter damage was inconsistent with our coverage We then called them and talked to Kevin, who proceeded to refuse to even discuss the issues He told us we called it a Swirl, (which we did) and he said Swirls are not covered, read the contract Well we did and Swirl is never mentioned in the copy of the contract we have Also, we are not vehicle paint experts, we were only trying to help them understand the issue Today I would have called it a shadow or flaw in the paint We paid $extra for the color of our Colorado (Forest Green) and that is why we chose to purchase the "Appearance Protection Product Guarantee" We did not fail to in form then within days as we had told the dealership and they are the ones that told us to file the claim after

I purchased a Warranty Appearance Protection with my new Mercedes vehicleThis warranty is suppose to cover the leather on the seatsI contacted the company back in March when I first noticed that there was an issueI was told at that time that someone would be getting in touch with me regarding the repairsWhen I didn't hear from anyone, I contacted the dealership that sold the product to me and was told that I needed top contact the company directlyI then recontacted the company and was told that it has been over days since the damaged was discovered and that they might not cover it nowThey sent someone out to my home to look at the damage and are now denying the claim based on the fact that more then days went by before I followwith the claimThey are stating that although I contacted on March 21, 2017, I should have follwith them within days of that date instead of waiting for someone to contact me as they told me to doThis is absolute crazy!

So I purchased the appearance protection plan from permaplate for the exterior and interior for my carI have recently been traveling to another state for work so the insects are terribleI noticed that I left the bugs on my car too longThe bugs took paint off where they had been sittingI took pictures and sent them to permaplate explaining what happened So I get an email..A freaking email denying my claimThey looked at pictures I sent and denied my claimHow unprofessional is that? I was thinking I would have to take my car to a shop for viewingTheir reason was because the appearance protection plan only covered bird droppingsI went back to my contractIt CLEARLY states that the protection was for bird droppings AND insects (including love bugs) So I disputed the decision to only hear that they can't overturn the decision of the claimAll I want is my paint job back to normalHad I known bugs would do this to my car, I would have washed it sooner

I contacted PermaPlate with a problem with the leather in my new HighlanderThey responded immediately to set up an appointmentThe service person came to my home, inspected the problem and repaired it perfectly

I purchased yr windshield coverage at Groove Subaru when I purchased my new vehicle in January through Permaplate
On July 6, 2018, a rock hit my windshield and caused a foot long crack in the windshield
I placed a claim online through Permaplate on July 9,
The claim was originally denied, due to the claim being filed more than days after the damage occurred I placed the claim days after the damage occurred I disputed the denial and was offered only a partial payment for the windshield

On 11/21/I noticed a large crack on my windshield upon entering my car I had driven the car a short distance to work the day before and no crack was visible After finding the warranty information that was given to myself by the car dealer on date of purchase, 08/03/2017, I waited for my husband to contact Siskin enterprises to deal with the crack Upon purchase of said, warranty I was told by the dealer that my windshield would be repaired free of charge at ay time by purchasing the warrantyI paid for warranty My husband called Siskin Enterprises and incorrectly stated the damage started on 11/01/2018, which I was not privy to I then received an e- mail denying to fix the window due to damage that occurred over days ago This was minutes after his call Upon getting this email we immediately called back Due to my husbands error they refuse the claim The damage was noticed on 11/21/which I repeatedly told the customer service agent My husband ne

I purchased a previously-owned vehicle from a dealership with Permaplate already appliedI was told the product would protect my interior and exterior against, among other things, oxidation and weathering
years into my ownership of the vehicle, I have massive clear coat failure to multiple areas of my vehicle (trunk, hood, and roof)I filed a claim twice (having misunderstood the claim form during the original filing)The company has no interest in fixing the paint and keeps pushing me through a series of loopholesWhat is the point of purchasing a product expressly for paint protection if it does not cover paint damage?
