I purchased Permaplate rust protection on my new Ford FPlatinum with a so called "Lifetime Warranty" The rocker panels on both sides of the truck have rotted through from the inside, no rust appeared until recently and upon inspecting them closely, I put my finger through the metal on both sides of the truckI submitted a claim and without even a request to see the vehicle, it was deniedThey went on about how the product is designed to prevent rust-through of fenders, doors, quarter panels and hollow body cavitiesThey claimed that the rocker panels shown in the photos I sent, were not included in the rust proof applicationThey don't consider them "hollow body cavities"???
The Ford dealership recommended this product but I would caution anybody about throwing their money away on itThere are other reputable companies who will back their product
I was very concerned that my new vehicle has acquired front seat blue jean stainsAfter the dealer could not remove these, they directed me to PermaPlate due to my warrantyI honestly didn't expect that their local representative would have any better luckHowever, I was wrongThey removed the stain and the car seat looks as good as new
I purchased this extra warranty to protect my leather seats when I filed a complaint about some dirt marks that I had gotten during a move I was told it was out of the day report period I immediately realized I had by mistake put down the wrong month and resubmitted, they then said they must review They asked me to send pics which I did, but then they requested additional pics
I had purchased Permaplate automotive exterior protection plan from a Honda dealership when I purchased a brand new vehicle in March of The guarantee was for a five year warranty against fading or any other problems associated with industrial fallout,acid rain,bird droppings,etcDuring the fifth month after purchasing the vehicle,I noticed spots appearing in the finish of the vehicle.I immediately took the car back to the dealer,where I was told that the spots were absolutely caused by "Industrial Fallout",and this was a Permaplate issue and not a Honda issueI was told it was a five year guarantee,so I could turn in a claim t any time during that five year periodI filed a claim on 5/23/which was rejected because it had been more than days since I had originally found the problem,even though the problem has worsened and I was told that I had a five year window to do thisThe Permaplate company also denied that their product had anything to do with the damages to my v
Can't say enough about the quality service providedThe technician was truly an artistHe repaired a tear in the seat of my car and left it in perfect conditionThere is no way anyone can tell where the damage was after he finished his workThe ease of filing the claim, the rapid response of the technician and the quality of the work preformed is truly Top Shelf
PermaPlate has been providing detail work to my car for the past two years One of their technicians has done an outstanding job I have been very happy with the work and my car looks almost new when he finishes

Had a great tech to repair small tear in perforated leather seat as why I bought this warranty as knew the perforated leather probably would not be as durable as now on 2nd vehicle from same dealership chain & purchased it for paint & interior protection
I purchased a Warranty Appearance Protection with my new Mercedes vehicleThis warranty is suppose to cover the leather on the seatsI contacted the company back in March when I first noticed that there was an issueI was told at that time that someone would be getting in touch with me regarding the repairsWhen I didn't hear from anyone, I contacted the dealership that sold the product to me and was told that I needed top contact the company directlyI then recontacted the company and was told that it has been over days since the damaged was discovered and that they might not cover it nowThey sent someone out to my home to look at the damage and are now denying the claim based on the fact that more then days went by before I followwith the claimThey are stating that although I contacted on March 21, 2017, I should have follwith them within days of that date instead of waiting for someone to contact me as they told me to doThis is absolute crazy!
I contacted PermaPlate with a problem with the leather in my new HighlanderThey responded immediately to set up an appointmentThe service person came to my home, inspected the problem and repaired it perfectly
PermaPlates' Appearance Protection Policy is money well spent especially compared to detail shop pricesThis policy has backed it's offerings with no hassles and their people are nice to work with
