*** Auto was the PermaPlate provider that performed the "magic" on my carUnfortunately, there was a delay in the first provider responding to my service request (read NOT AT ALL) and after several weeks of "radio silence" and MIAPermaPlate Customer service assigned my request to *** Auto in Santa ClaraCarla at *** called within a day to schedule service an offered to either pick up the car from my home and return it, a mile drive or drive me home after I delivered the car to themWell, life got in the way and I dragged MY feet on having the finish renewedPermaPlate sent an email and lit the fire under me that my claim would expire if the service was not performedHow cool is that? I immediately called ***, scheduled service for the next weekCarla, John *** and the gentleman (I didn't catch his name) that clay barred and restored the PermaPlate finish were SO proud of how the car turned outWell, yeahit had PermaPlate on it for seven yearsStart with an amazing product and you've got an amazing product! My husband's Lexus has a permaplate knock off on itenvironmentally friendlyyeah, wellit washed off after the third hand washing

“Please note, the Paintguard contract exclusively covers damage to the treated exterior painted body panels caused by weather induced fading, oxidation, loss of gloss or surface rust caused by industrial fallout, as well as stains caused by bird droppings, insect, water spots, tree sap, or acid rainUse of a paint sealant such as Paintguard cannot prevent clear coat failure, clear coat peeling, cracking and adhesion problems as this separation and damage occurs between two layers of paint and not on the outermost, treated surfaceThe reported damage is inconsistent with your coverage.”
The printed warranty is inconsistent with the company response, and does not specifically exclude clear coat failure
When I bought the car, perma plate was offered, they said they would perma plate the entire vehicle inside and outAfter filing a claim I was advised they only covered the shiny part of vehicle no interior or plastic on outside of vehicle was not covered, I was disapointed in that there was water spots on the plastic that wouldn’t come off and I tried getting the water spots offSo if you do get perma plate make sure it covers both exterior ( plastic parts also) as well as interiorI feel like the product is good, just not the warranty on interior or plastic parts
Overall I had a good experience working with this business and Jeff the technician assigned to my claim was great and he did an incredible job
