unsolicited and applied and completed application on 5/5/15 at 2:28 PM PST for
the services in question, without haven spoken to a representative. Mobile App

Complaint

When I inquired about their product, their agent assured me there was no monthly fee for their product. I was told they were paid per use. When I noticed they were charging me over 50 dollars per month, I called them to cancel and send the reader back. The man I talked to said I would have to pay an...

outrageous fee for cancelation unless I waited 3 years. When I mentioned conacting the Revdex.com, he laughed and told me he could send a check for $10,000 and get an A+ rating.

A refund would be nice, but I would settle with them leaving my bank account alone. I barely make enough to pay my bills without them raping me.

we feel that we have delivered the services requested to the best of our

It is unfortunate the merchant neglected to provide accurate information. They have been advised what their termination fee would be as well and their contract end date, during the application process and with first contact with our cancellation department.  All the terms and conditions were provided which included all fees associated with the service requested. As previously advised, agreement is available upon request, please contact us for copies ###-###-####.

As previously advised,
merchant was provided with terms and conditions to read through and understand
which had any and all fees associated to the service requested. Merchant
Account Solutions activated account and waive all activation, application fees,
equipment costs and shipping to have the merchant process credit cards as a
form of payment. In order to come to an amicable solution we are waiving the
termination fees of $645 in order to accommodate as a courtesy for the merchant
not reading or understanding the terms on the application that was emailed as
well a welcome packet, also releasing their financial responsibility 97.67% of
the 3 year agreement the merchant signed. No refunds will be issued as again
services were requested, provided, installed and actively used. Account will
remain open until equipment listed below is returned in good and working
condition to the address below, a return label will not be provided as it is also
part of their terms that they are responsible to return equipment once
agreement has ended. Merchant
Account Solutions would like to advise business owner for the future to always
read all terms and conditions provided to them and have full understanding
before signing anything in order to avoid any misunderstandings for their
business.

merchant was emailed a Merchant Processing Agreement and was advised to
complete and agree to all terms and conditions which has all fees associated
with the services requested. Merchant proceeded to enter all of their business
information and business owners information at the end of agreement merchant
agreed to terms via digital signature embedded with their IP address
[redacted]. Agreement available upon request. Merchant account was approved,
account number was issued and credit card reader was sent out On April 2, 2015
merchant installed equipment and ran a test transaction and continued their
service. 
 
As a courtesy to the merchant we can terminate the merchant
agreement and waive the termination fees as long as merchant returns equipment
SN: 372[redacted]96 to the address below in good and working condition. No refunds will
be issued for for any fees already billed as services were requested, provided,
installed and actively used. When returning equipment please retain tracking
information for your own records.

Despite the inaccuracies of the detailed complaint Merchant Account Solutions

I am still very unsatisfied with your actions and attitudes. To begin with, how did the cancellation fees you all speak of jump from $545 to $645? Also, I have provided my fax number to Mr. B[redacted] to receive such copies of this contract that I have supposedly signed. Please refer to him, as he told me that he had it on file and would send me such documents. It is going on 2 weeks now and I have still not been faxed anything whatsoever. For future reference, you have my email and both my phone number and fax number. Please contact me at ###-###-#### or [email protected] when you are ready to provide such documents as Mr. B[redacted] promised. In the future, I may ask that you do not sign contracts on behalf of your potential customers and not use their personal information for your financial benefits, especially when such potential customers stated very clearly that they have no interest in using your services and has no intentions to go forward with you all. I also see that I am not the only one having these same problems with you all, and that in fact, many other people are being charged for account that was opened in their name with you all that was not authorized. I am rejecting this response because: If you look at their website it states you will received equipment: never received. It also states get a free quote which is what I did. Then it also states .39% for each card swiped. Never used it because we didn't have the equipment!  I did the free quote found out it wasn't right for my business and deleted it off my phone You had to put in all that information to get a free quote. It took my bank and us forever to figure out who was taking money out of my account without my knowledge because in the debit it never states who they are. After I made this complaint I have checked online and seen that many people have also complained about the same exact thing. I work two jobs to run a business and make ends meet and these companies think it's a joke to scam innocent people out of money so they can make millions off of us. I want the money that was debited out of my account for never receiving the equipment and for never using!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11148298.The merchant makes several deliberately incorrect statements, and I stand behind my original complaint. Their fees are not disclosed (a typical billing statement charges different amounts each month as "other administrative fees" and suggests we call the company to find out what those are) and our representative clearly offered us terms of one year with no termination fee. I provided MAS with proof of this--an email from the sales rep. (Somehow their "termination fee" went up from $545 to $645 in their response to you!) However, I will accept their resolution to cancel our account and stop charging us ANY fees ever again. The equipment was sent via first-class USPS on March 9 to the company at their P.O. Box address, which is the only one I had, and to the attention of our sales rep, Bryan Pelto. I am rejecting this response because:The agent that helped was not clear when I asked him what the fees were. He did not mention the monthly fee or the contact. He also did not tell me that I was agreeing to a contract when I was filling out the application.  And when I...

asked him when I found out there was a contract, I asked why he didn't tell me. His response was that it's not his job to let me know there is a contract. All he has to do I'd get me to fill out the application. I have done some research and I have learned through online reviews that this company does this alot. They suckered people into filling out the app not knowing it's a contract. I shouldn't have to pay for anything I haven't used! I didn't even activate my account.

Cancellation procedures provided via email on January 9th, 2015 which can not be lost in the fire and as general knowledge access to a yahoo email can be done with any desktop, personal computer or mobile that has access to the internet. Also closing procedures do not expire, there for they are not "null and void". At this time merchant is requesting refunds because they failed to complete closing procedure that were provided to them in January 2015 and again in October 2015 and still have not been completed? We are not responsible for failure to complete procedure that were requested by the merchant 9 months later that have yet to be submitted for processing by the merchant, who has acknowledged receipt of them on multiple occasions. Termination fees of $250 have been waived and auto 12 month contract renewal has been removed to assist with the merchants confusion. Annual fee billed is not for future year, we bill back not forward, any charges/fees are for previous months/year. No refunds due, any fees accrued leading up to account cancellation are valid. Account will remain open until proper closing procedures provided and submitted for processing.

I am rejecting this response because:It is the responsibility of the business to let me know that I am requI red to sign a contract. All he told me is that I need to check a box to confirm that my informatuon was accurate. Not once did he say that I am obligated to sign a contract. When I signed up for Direct TV, they told me I needed to sign a 24 mon the contract. That was the first thing the rep told me. When I signed up with Verizon the first thing the rep told me was that I had to sign a 2 year contarct. Any respectable business that is not trying to run a scam will tell you that. Maybe your business records conversations? Listen to mine a d you will see that I was mislead. I should not and will not pay a termination fee. All of needs to be waived.
