The complainant bought a CVT transmission as previously stated. We only offer a day parts warranty on these type of Transmissions. The Free Warranty was not in effect due to not complying to the Terms and ConditionsFurthermore, CVT Transmissions only come with a day Parts warranty. The complainant ordered on 3-3-and did not file the claim until 7-1-16. This is clearly outside the 90-day allowable time frame. The claim on the Free Warranty was denied justly and well within the Terms and ConditionsWe consider this matter respectfully closed and will not engage in further discussion

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] The information that the business representative has provided you does not reflect accuracyBased on the information provided in emails, as well as, a phone conversation that was conducted between the warranty department representative and me, the customer; this company in no way was interested in professionally resolving this matterA mediator will be required to resolve this issueThe unprofessionalism I experienced by the warranty representative was disturbing and thoughtlessI do not want this situation to get any more uncivil than it has been

the complainant is requesting a replacement engine as he is alleging the timing cover is crackedPer the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty on covered components: "The following components of gasoline or diesel engines: pistons pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod
bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, hydraulic lifters and rocker arm shaftsThe engine block and cylinder heads are covered only if damaged by a covered component." http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php As we do not require the core engine in return the complainant is able to swap items from one engine to the otherThe compainant stated to our representative that they did not want to do that so there will be a 25% shipping charge if we are to take the engine back

I really think this is inconvenient especially considering the amount of time it has taken for a refund that was supposed to happen months agoIt's really sad that I had to contact the Revdex.com to even get a response from anyoneAnd all the money I put in this engine and to only get $back is really dishearteningI was lead to believe both invoices were valid just to hear that only one of them were validThe first engine that was sent was defective and I hadto pay for that out of pocket along with the second engineI will NEVER do business with this company again this was the most unacceptable experience with a business I have everexperiencedPlease make sure you mail the check to the address given months agoSince there seems to be so much miscommunication going on I want you to verify the addressthe check will be sent to A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. We spoke to the complainant on and further discussed the issue On the the diagnostic report sent over we only saw the complainant had wrote "Manifold Gasket" written on it which is not covered by the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty Upon further investigation, we
noticed on the diagnostic there was a code which indicated the #Cylinder was dead We agreed to send out a replacement engine and it should be arriving to the complainant sometime next week The complainant is aware of this and we hope this engine has no issues and apologize the initial engine had an issue and will be speaking with our Quality Control Team to see how this happened

I am rejecting this reason for the following reasonsI had stated twice to *** at Quality Transmissions that I did not want another transmission and I wanted a refundI asked him how long it would take to refund our $and he said as soon as they received the transmission back they would release our $This is not true and it not happenIt tool over a week for them to send me a shipping label and then five days and to calls to have a company pick the transmission upThe transmission has been back with them for two days and we still have not received our refund

I finally received the correct engine and I am satisfy with itHowever, the engine I was sold by the company was a lts TBI with thousand miles in itWhat I received was an engine with 200K plus, missing parts and the wrong oneThe company refused to listen to me, messages were not answer, and the run around was on for almost two monthsI requested the refund money and was told it would take five months to receive the refundIt was after, I contacted you people at Revdex.com, the day after to be specific that they called me telling me I could not get refund money and that they were going to send me an engine, would I wanted or notThey even tried to sell me the same engine for $dollarsI was not looking for extra parts, just the parts I boughtWhich was a Chevy LTS TBI engine, complete, tested, with 69K in it, everything included, minus the power steering pump, AC compressor, pulleys, Alternator, and beltsEverything else was includedI have all the emails back and forwards with this companyHOW EVER, AT THIS MOMENT, I INSTALLED THE ENGINE AND WORKS FINEI do want the company to be investigated for advertisement, if possible.Revdex.com:

Our Terms and Conditions show that all canceled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costsSince the order had not shipped we did not charge the complainant for shippingWe understand the complainant's frustration, but this is stated very clearly and since they canceled their order, they were then charged the 25% feeWe hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward

The Terms and conditions of the Free Warranty clearly state on line 1: Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumpsWe do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc. Additionally, on line 4: New timing belt must be installed (if applicable)The Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty must be read and agreed upon before placing the order and is indicated by selecting the text box as confirmation before moving forward and purchasing the part. http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php As timing components are not covered under the warranty, we had to void the claim, and in turn do not grant the request to payment for repair bill of $based on these Terms and Conditions of the warranty

The complainant agreed to the Terms and Condition of the sale before the actual purchase as all customers must do in the ordering process The Terms and Conditions of the Sale which is prominently displayed and uses a check box to insure the customer has read them before making the purchase, clearly states: "All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs." Therefore, this fee was put into effect when the complainant cancelled the order We are simply following the Terms and Conditions which the complainant agreed to when purchasing

Mr*** had purchased a transmission way back on April 28, for a Honda Accord cyl and it was sent to him in a timely mannerHe had called us to report that that torque converter was missing and may have came off during shipping, with no question asked and no hesitations we sent
Mr*** a replacement immediatelyOn May 8, he had called us and said the trans had burned up and stopped moving, we offered to send Mr*** a replacement, but he did not want to go with another, so we told him to pull it out and we would refund him, he agreed to that and that is what we had doneUnfortunately he was not eligible to do a labor claim because he had never activated his extended warranty or provided any pictures of his odometerWe also never got any verification from any ASE certified shops to make sure it was installed properly, lines were flushed, broken and/or weak trans lines replaced, filter etcWe still dont even know if it was installed properlyFor all we know, from what he describes one of his trans lines came loose, let all the fluid come spraying out, causing the transmission to stop moving and completely burn upMr*** burned up a completely good transmission because of pure negligence, and that is our conclusion

The complainant is suggesting they were under the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty due to specific dates that they deem as holidaysWe deem those dates as business days so from when the engine was delivered to when the engine warranty was activated was beyond the day windowWe do not follow the dates that the mechanic deems as holidays and the complainant should view every day that is not a weekend as a business dayDue to the warranty not being active within the day window, all claims prior and going forward will be denied. We hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward

Unfortunately, this item is not covered under the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty All customer must agree to the T&Cs of the Free Warranty when purchasing which are more than clear and prominent in every step of the order process We will not be able to issue a refund for
this customer

The complainant is claiming the engine is bad per alleged failed compression testsThe complainant had never fully installed the engine so the readings would not be accurateThe engine was compression tested before it went out and it had a passing readingPer the Limited Liability in our Terms
and Conditions of our Free Warranty, "The liability of GOE is solely and exclusively limited to supplying a replacement engine if available or refunding purchase priceGOE does not assume and has no liability for labor costs or replacement of oil or anti-freeze, damage to other engine parts or components towing charges, telephone calls, freight, lost profits, lost time, substitute transportation or replacement vehicle or any other consequential damagesGOE has no responsibility for any failure resulting from improper installation, modification of the product faulty or incompatible parts and accessories and/or abuse of operation." *** As the complainant has disputed the charges with their credit card company, we will wait till they complete their investigationWe have no problem offering the complainant a refund minus the 25% handling and restocking fees plus the complainant assumes all shipping costs

Per the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty Line 7: "Usual delivery time is about 7-working days but due to some unusual circumstances please allow additional time." and Line 3: "All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs." *** These two points are very clear on the warranty pageThe complainant has to review the warranty and since they canceled their order, we refunded the money to them minus the restocking fee as they ordered the engine on 10/20/and canceled the order on 10/26/which falls well withe guidelines of our expectation to get the engine to the complainantWe do hope this closes this matter

The claimant went to try and activate a claim and was filed incorrectlyThere was no refund given due to the fact that the warranty was voided due to time of installationWith the complainant installing the engine in August and purchasing the engine March of (3/23). "Parts and labor warranty begins on the 14th day & 501st mile after the part is installedWarranty must be activated within business days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDEDFalsifying information will automatically void your warranty." "The engine must be installed within days of its receipt." http://engineshopper.com/warranty.phpDue to the engine not being installed within the day window, the warranty request was in fact voided out due to the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty

Mr *** had ordered a Wrangler engine on July 6, and as far as we know that is what was sent out to himHe had called us on July 29, to report that we had sent a Ford engine, we however did not receive any pictures of this engine yet and are still waiting for the engine to get
back to us to investigate and see if there was some sort of mix upMr*** has now disputed his purchase on his charge card and has all of his money back
