I was charged a 25% restocking fee on an engine that was never pulled from a vehicle and never shippedThere was a picture of an engine on a palette when I purchased the item and then I was told that it takes time to pull the engine out of a vehicle and personnel need to be paid for that, hence the 25% restocking feeSo which on is it? Was the engine pictured on a palette in a warehouse or was it in a vehicle? The engine never shipped, plain and simpleI cancelled the order because of poor customer service and shady dealingsIf this business is so upstanding why does it have a Revdex.com rating of F?

SWE will reimburse the repairer up to $per hour for the repair of a part or assemblyTherefore, the complainant issued us a receipt for hours Labor: x $= $ We will issue this credit in the next buisness days to the original card used to place the order We apologize
for taking so long to close this claim

The complainant did receive a second transmission as it was delivered on 8/3/2016, and we have not heard if the complainant has had any issues with the additional transmission that was sent outSince we have not heard back from the
complainant we must assume the second transmission was in good working order and the complainant was able to complete the install of the transmissionWe feel this matter should be closed due to services rendered complete as the complainant requested a working transmission and that is what the complainant received

The complainant did not officially cancel the order through the Online Cancellation System until 3.18.16. Since the complainant waited well over the time frame of hours to cancel the order with no restocking fee, we incurred the expense of processing the part to get ready for shipmentAs
stated and agreed upon when placing an order in the Terms and Conditions of the sale on Line 3: “All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs.” In this case we waived in shipping fees due to the order not be shipped yet. Furthermore, the complainant initiated a chargeback attempt on with the Credit Company used when placing an order. Until this chargeback attempt is resolved we can discuss or come to any sort of agreement

Mr*** had purchased a transmission way back on April 28, for a Honda Accord cyl and it was sent to him in a timely mannerHe had called us to report that that torque converter was missing and may have came off during shipping, with no question asked and no hesitations we sent MrFrazier a replacement immediatelyOn May 8, he had called us and said the trans had burned up and stopped moving, we offered to send Mr*** a replacement, but he did not want to go with another, so we told him to pull it out and we would refund him, he agreed to that and that is what we had doneUnfortunately he was not eligible to do a labor claim because he had never activated his extended warranty or provided any pictures of his odometerWe also never got any verification from any ASE certified shops to make sure it was installed properly, lines were flushed, broken and/or weak trans lines replaced, filter etcWe still dont even know if it was installed properlyFor all we know, from what he describes one of his trans lines came loose, let all the fluid come spraying out, causing the transmission to stop moving and completely burn upMr*** burned up a completely good transmission because of pure negligence, and that is our conclusion

*** *** Just read the email and that clearly was not discussed via telephone but since it's policy ok.unfortunately the money that is to be refunded is not correct*** and *** said it would be estimate of 800$ because there weredifferent labors that were paidwhich was the first engine that was sent and I paid for but it was not working properly and was sent backthen the second engine that was sent paid for labor for that as wellso the check should not be in the 400's when I spoke to *** he calculatedas estimate for me being what you will pay for per policy and he states it would be like 832$ (in the 800's for sure)

In their response, they said that “Our system records all attempts to activate the warranty automatically as a log file”They have my email on file did they contact me? They did not email me the link to the warranty site to activate the warranty even if I had not install the transmission? They did not

The complainant is requesting a refund due to an alleged difference in the motor he purchased and what we shipped outTerms and conditions of the Free Warranty clearly state on "line 14: The stated mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledge."The Terms and Conditions of
the Free Warranty must be read and agreed upon before placing the order and is indicated by selecting the text box as confirmation before moving forward and purchasing the partWe have no proof that the complainant pulled a carfax as nothing was shown to us on this specific engine and the mileage was correct to the best of our ability when the engine was soldAs the complainant clearly understood the terms of the Free Warranty, we deem his request for a full refund as void. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to assist in resolving this claim

Mr*** had ordered an engine from us on May 4, and it was sent to him in a timely mannerHe has called us harrassed and degraded all of our employees on a daily basisHe now has called this morning stating several issues with the engine but had provided no proof or pictures like he
said he was going toHe also said he reversed the charges on his credit card and has all of his money back

the complainant is requesting an additional engine as they feel the engine shipped to them was not compatible to their vehiclePer the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty: Line 16: "OEM auto parts are interchangeable with multiple years, makes and models which means the same part is an exact
fit for multiple makes and models as determined by OEM standardsWe guarantee the part we sell to fit your vehicle." http://www.engineandtransmissionworld.com/warranty.php the complainant did receive the engine on 11/28/and activated the Free Warranty warranty on 12/13/which falls outside of out 10-day activation windowPer Line of our Terms and Conditions: "Engine or transmission must be installed AND warranty activated within days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDED." We did offer the complainant a months part warranty which they did not acceptWe did ship the complainant an engine that would fit their vehicleIf the complainant would like a refund, they can have the engine shipped back to us and we will refund them their money, but there will be a 25% restocking charge and freight fee for both ways of shipping

We received the customers engine back at our facility last year and our in house mechanics immediately checked it out We did nothing to the engine to make the engine spin freely as demonstrated in the video we made and the customer has had access to in the past This should easily
demonstrate we did not ship a seized engine to the customer as claimed The customers claim under the Terms and Conditions of the free warranty are void at this point

Mr *** had purchased an engine from us for a Isuzu Trooper back on March 30, He had called us to report that the engine has a leaky cam plug sealEven though we donot cover seals we wanted to provided good customer service to him so we had said we would give him credit for the cost of
the seal in good faithWe would not cover the labor though, because replacing seals and gaskets as part of good practice and proper installation should actually be replaced at the time installation, any knowledgable mechanic knows that

Unfortunately, we cannot provide the VIN# for the vehicle this engine came out of This is quite often the case as we source from so many places it would be almost impossible to retain this information and most often it is not available to us as wellWe are typically supplied the miles on the odometer from the source as we cannot be certain from the VIN if the engine is the original or a replacement Quite often the engines can have even less miles on them then stated on the odometer reading as wellThis is why we test all the engines before going out to make sure the basic integrity of the engine is in tact

Unfortunately, the complainant has only provided an general estimate and not one which is specific to the vehicle We have been in business over years and are well aware what is involved to fix the issue We stand by our original offer and estimate of the work which needs to be done The other parts are not covered under the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty which has already been stated in the previous reply
