No communication regarding claim against one of their insured.
I was involved in a collision with one of *** insured. The collision was ar the fault of their insured I spoke with agent *** and provided him all items requested. TWO months later I've received no communication, no response , no response to numerous voicemails,no resolution to my claim. I find the lack of communication and follow up completely unprofessional and overall bad business. I am definitely exploring what other options I may have in regards to being made whole for this incident. 2 months and not such much as ab email or call back. Something is definitely shady about this operation. My vehicle is how I earn a living and without it my finances are at a stand still. Again something shady is definitely going on and *** should at the least receive some coaching in service.

Company acting in bad faith and putting off payment of an accident claim for an unreasonable amount of time.
This insurance co. client caused a total loss of my car on *//*** and is claiming that the compensation could take up to years to receive. That is acting in bad faith and unreasonable. Their insurance adjusters are rude and they take days to respond to phone calls and emails. I am out of a car and I can't afford to buy another one at this time.

Desired Outcome

This company has horrible business practices and is well known for them. I would like my claim to be handled timely and professional. I would also like for the public to know about how this company operates and what type of recourse does anyone have when having to deal with a deadbeat company like this one.

Worst experience all the time, every time.
My fiance was involved in an accident where he was at fault. We received no notices from the state but found out that his license was pending suspension due to not carrying the proper insurance and we only had a week to figure everything out. We simply needed a letterhead w a letter of proof of coverage w the parties that were involved, the amount that *** paid out to both parties, the claim numbers and our policy number all on the letterhead. They sent us the wrong letter and we keep being told to contact the adjuster, ***. She left me a message with the phone number to claims and when I called them, they transferred me to the policy people. They told me to call *** and then transferred me to claims again. This literally has been going on since 9 this morning. The final lady I spoke to transferred me to the accident claim people after I asked to speak to a supervisor. I don't know what we can do since we're waiting on papers from ***. My fiance lost two days of work sitting ast the DMV on the phone w *** and we have two children to take care of and can't afford that kind of loss. We had no notice of any of this happening, and got everything handled w the other insurance company and totally handled on our end and all of it has literally been for nothing bc of an issue on ***s end.

Desired Outcome

Reinstatement fee and loss of wages due to their incompetence reimbursed and for the company to actually get their act together and figure out their own business!!

Hello, I met with an accident on 09/30 7:35 PM in Tampa. I was at no fault and I have filed claim against at *** with claim# ***. It's been more than a week, no one is responding, The adjuster assigned ( ***) never picks up a call, directed to voice mail all the time. Never responds to Voice mails. I have sent them all the details of the accidents with Police report.
I have been living without car for more than week ( 11 Days ) and with lot of inconvenience for commuting to work. I am sole earner for the family.

I have been trying to talk to their Manager with no luck.

I don't know where to go next to get this fixed.

Have been trying to cancel insurance policy for over a month now. Have submitted over 5 forms and they still refuse to cancel the policy.
Attempted to cancel my auto insurance policy on 9/14/18. I sent my new policy number with a different auto insurance company and written letter signed by myself to cancel the policy. They then requested that I fill out a cancellation request form, I do so and send it in 9/17. They then do not contact me, continue to keep my policy active and then when I do my own research to find out that they are still trying to collect my money and refuse to cancel my policy they demand proof of sale of my vehicle and proof of my new insurance card. (I ***'t know the laws on that part but why is it any of their business where my car went or who I am now insured with. I am no longer interested in doing business with this company, they do not deserve to have continual information on me). Anyway, I send them a proof of sale of my vehicle and my drivers license AGAIN on 10/1. They have now dragged this out for over a month for the sole reason of keeping my entire premium when they should only be getting less than a week of it. Every time I ask for my reps contact info they give me the automated service number and from there no one will give me *** (my reps) information. They proclaim that they do not have it. This company is definitely practicing under fraudulent practices and are taking money from innocent people.

Desired Outcome

Aside from my premium refund. This company needs to be looked at as a whole. If they are refusing to cancel my policy because they want to keep my $200 that month, I am not the only one (look at their reviews). They have had numerous reports on people with accident claims are being ignored and taken advantage of. A business practicing like this does not deserve to be a business at all.

I was involved in a an accident about two weeks ago, and was told by *** that the claim will be denied in insured can't be contacted.
Me and my wife were involved in an accident on 09/30/2018. The driver swerved into our lane hitting us on the driver side. The adjuster had come out decided on how much it is going to cost, and I gave her a quote from the body shop I wanted the car sent to. Then, I was told they could not get my car fixed because they had not gotten in touch with the insured person who hit me, and if they were unable to get in touch with them they would deny my claim. That is what I was told by a *** which, is my claims adjuster at *** insurance.

Desired Outcome

What I want is for this insurance to hold up there end of the bargain, and fix my car. I was hit by there insured driver, and now because they can't get in contact with him they are refusing to fix it.

Absolutely HORRIBLE insurance. An attorney should gather several clients for a class action. Filed my claim back on July 13th!! To this day, almost 3 months later I have been unable to get a hold of the adjuster to even confirm if my car was totaled. I have been without a car and have been unable to pay off my car finance company since Windhaven has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. They use unethical tactics, their offices close way before business hours that are posted on their website. Their wait times are ridiculous, which is probably a strategy to get people to give up. I should not have to be chasing the adjuster, they never had to chase me for my monthly insurance payments that I paid on time every month for over 2 years. This insurance company needs to be investigated for unethical practices & fraud.

Have had alot of trouble gettin in contact with anyone who works here, car has sentimental value to me and I am very unhappy how they work
I was rear ended at a stop sign by a man insured under windhaven and he was completely at fault , my car is paid off and the title is in my name I have invested alot of time and money into this vehicle to keep it running as it holds alot of sentimental value to me I have receipts of over $5,000 of parts I have put into it to keep it alive all to have it ripped away by someone not paying attention behind the wheel , windhaven did nnot contact me until a week after the accident and they just sent someone out a week ago to get my car and I find out it was taken to co part an auction yard I have not recieved any calls from the insurance adjuster about the status of my case or my car I feel like I'm at a complete loss that car is one of my only assets I need someone to help me please

Customer service sucks I have been paying insurance for 2 years and they denied my insurance to the department of motorvehicles.
This has been going on since July 2018....I called the insurance company for a letter for motor vehicles the woman I spoke with did not even what the case number or fax number told me she knows how to do her job. I got into a 7 car accident on 9/24/18 and the FHP took my license away and gave me 3 tickets, I have called the company everyday 4 times a day to get this resolved as well as the claim on my car which was totaled.

Desired Outcome

I would like someone to do what they are suppose to. I have a criminal case due to driving with a revoked license for no insurance.

Windhaven Insurance has no ethics, and likely isn't operating legally. AVOID!

A few years ago they refunded payments when a claim was filed, then when we came back a couple weeks ago under new management, they doubled our price AFTER a contract was signed. Very shady!

Windhaven insurance failed to deliver an accurate estimate of the repairs of my car, not answering the phone and taking care of my case after 2 weeks.
On August 30th I got hit by a person after she made an illegal maneuver, my car was heavily damaged, on the right side (Passenger) from front bumper, lights, fender, door (front and back)(Police report No XXXX-XXXXX).
After contacting Windhaven, they took the case (CFLXXXXXXXX), I sent all the pictures requested and a person was assigned to my case, to whom I called, being her extension wrong or not functioning (*** extension *** same results with her manager, ***, extension ***
After 11 days, I got contacted by *** and the process began.
I was offered an initial estimate of 2,772.79 USD (9/10/2018), but, it was flawed, and after checking it out I realized it was missing the fixing/substitution of the front light (7th page of the pdf sent with the pictures of the areas damaged) and I sent an email back to Mr *** (9/10/2018).
Windhaven has violated Florida law in several ways:
1.By acting in bad faith, delaying the process unnecessarily.
2.By failing to provide a fair estimate that would let my car in the exact conditions it was before the accident.
3.By refusing to a rental car, stating they only work as "reimbursement" so I'd have to pay from my own money to rent a car, the liability portion should cover all loses caused by an accident, including loss of wages and rental.

Desired Outcome

I only want what is owed to me. the money they missed initially (front right lamp), compensation for having to use UBER to work (60 dollars a day).

IS MSskaggs XXXXXXXXXXXext8198 she has the car crash report by now but saying she dnt insurance companies get the crash report in 3days also she told me she need my titles in order to pay me in which she ***'t she can't do these things she is doing fraud also usher told me she has to wait to get the drunk driver story of the accident when I have nothing to do with that ***'t have me on hold for nothing like that the police report tells what she needs to know I have a 2014 range rover and she is trying not to pay me that's not right their insurer car caused a very bad accident with a lot if damages and I need my money or for them to pay who I got a loan from to fix my truck asap

Hi I signed the agreement on 10/11/18 because I was told that was the only way that I will receive the funds for the damages of my truck I then asked can the check be fedex,ups,dhl,their adjuster could come out and cut me a check,can I come to their office and they cut me a check she told me no only by mail I explained to her I can't chance that because people steal my mail I then asked her was she paying me for my damages to repair my truck or paying for a total she told me paying towards the damages I said but you told me my truck was a total and I told her she is a total loss adjuster so why is she paying to repair my truck and not total loss of my truck in which she never respond back I told her we need to come to an agreement by the end of today in which I haven't heard anything from her yet she is trying to lie ball me knowing she suppose to pay me Kelly blue book or close to it

I cancelled my policy and never received my pro rate amount or the payment they took after cancellation it's been 3 and a half months
I cancelled my policy with windhaven 6/1/18 and my payments where due every 18th of every months so I cancelled mid month so I was suppose to get a pro rated amount refunded back to me but instead they took another payment out of 239.54 on 6/18/18 after I already cancelled my policy and I've called twice and last time I spoke with *** and she said she was going to get with her manager to resolve the matter and that was 2 months ago since I spoke with that rep *** and I still ***'t have my refund or my pro rated amount and it's been 3 and a half months already and I would like to have this matter resolved already.

I would like them to refund the payment they took out on 6/18/18 plus the pro rate amount as well

This insurance company will find any excuse to not pay you out for your claim.
I was in an accident with someone who has this *** insurance and unfortunately I was forced to file a claim through their policy. My car was hit by their insured while it was parked on the street. They are claiming that because the person who hit my car was involved in a hit and run with another vehicle, causing it to slam into my car, they may not be at fault. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I was at work and I came out to my car completely totaled. Even if the person who is on the policy was hit by another car, they were clearly speeding or not paying attention to cause that much damage to my vehicle. My car won't even start..and your claiming he is not at fault? The adjuster on the case, *** never answers her phone or returns voicemails. She is the one who told me today that they are waiting on photos of the other person's vehicle to prove that he is not liable? Is that how you talk to someone who has been waiting a month to get their vehicle repaired by the insurance company you represent? When I filed the claim, they were out to my vehicle within two days, but you are going to take a month to get to the other person's vehicle for proof? Beyond *** I don't even expect them to follow up with me, which is why I've decided to involve a lawyer to actually get paid out correctly. My only regret is that I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited a month. Not once have they offered a rental to cover the cost of me having get around without a car and the only time they've sent me anything is to tell me that I have to cover towing and storage costs while they assign liability. Such a joke. I hope that enough people see this and this company goes out of business. Oh and my claim number is CTXXXXXXXXX..not that anything will even come from this complaint other than a phony automated response.

Desired Outcome

I would like my car to be fixed and I would like to be reimbursed for towing and transportation fees. I don't want you to try and underpay me or claim that the other driver is not at fault. I have waited a month and if this doesn't get resolved right away I will take legal action.

A Windhaven customer turned left in front of me Sept 1st I have tried to talk to an agent 17 times only to get a recording
A Windhaven customer hit my vehicle & got a ticket Windhaven has been UNREACHABLE except for once when I got a supervisor who promised an adjuster would call my cell =But they haven't 1 did call my Voicemail but I called back 14 times only to get recordings It's been 17days I should have gotten a Rental & am struggling with 1 car for 2 people Now I am thinking of getting an Attorney This Company needs to be EXPOSED For NON PERFORMANCE

Adjuster Shandronda Ogoti Outright LIED Sheclaims she called my Cell Ph as well as my Home phone 2 times But She Only called my Home 2 times & left a message and she Never called me on my Cell as I Asked her to only use-I have called Shadrondra 24 times and I only get a message I now have my Cell Records which prove that Nobody From Windhaven has Ever called me on my Cell It has been 3 weeks now with Not even one Offer of settlement I have been using Taxis and Uber to get around and cannot believe They could be so beligerent

First The Accident occurred on Sept 1st I tried calling Windhaven over 28 times and only got a machine
after 2 weeks they did leave a message on my home phone I immediately called them back and again got the Machine telling me to E-Mail ***@Windhaven.com But she had such a strong accent and strange name that I could not spell her name Yes Windhaven Did Not Contact me until the 23rd and sent out an adjustor who said they would give me $1,000 for my van a 2004 Fully loaded Dodge Caravan This was an Insult and I threatened to *** them in Small Claims Court They then broke off all contact with me IF They had talked to me as they Claimed they would know that I *** am a MALE Not a Girl as they stated Finally after contacting the State Insurance Commission I learned Windhaven is one of the Most Complained upon Companies in Fla.Finally on Sept 25th My Insurance Company Allstate Paid me $2,000 and removed my Van It Never went into Repairs as they Claimed Windhaven Owes Me For the 25 days I was without a vehicle as I had to use Uber a Lot and Lyft to get around SO They Owe me CAR RENTAL for 25 Days In all my 75 years I have NEVER Ran across such a Lying =Care-Less Company they are worse than the I.R.S. Tyhey still OWE Me 25 days of Rental

I have been contacting Windhaven Insurance since August 16, 2018, to further pursue my claim and have been completely avoided since.
I have been contacting Windhaven Insurance since August 16, 2018, to further pursue my claim against one of their policyholders. After being hung up on then rudely yelled at during my next call I was finally given a claim number, which is CTXXXXXXXXX. I was told an adjuster would call me within 48-72 hrs, which never occurred. A week later I called their "To Discuss an Existing Claim (XXX) XXX-XXXX" line and was told my adjuster was *** Jr and forwarded to his extension. He did not answer so I left a voicemail, with no return call. I then called a couple more times over another week span and did not get any response until around August 30, 2018 when I spoke directly to Mr.. He stated he was ordering the police/wreck report as he had been reaching out to the policyholder who refused to speak to him and would hang up on him repeatedly. He stated they would use the report to make a decision and he would reach back out to me; I never heard from him again. So I proceeded to call Windhaven again to get an update and was told Mr. no longer worked for the company. However, the rep stated she would leave a message for his manager Ashley *** and her manager Oscar to return my call, per usual I did not hear from them. I have called every week once or twice and have left a voicemail for Ms. with no response. I attempted to email her at the address she stated in her voicemail greeting but it states it's an invalid email. It is now September 17, 2018, over a month of trying to get the claim resolved with no response or progress with Windhaven Insurance. Ultimately, they have the police/wreck report that can be used to move forward but they are refusing to handle the claim correctly.

Desired Outcome

According to the report, their policyholder is responsible for the wreck and is responsible for the damages to my vehicle. I would like for them to use the report (since the policyholder refuses to cooperate), address the claim and repair damages to my vehicle.

As of October 3. 2018, I have finally received the property damage check from Windhaven Insurance. The envelope was marked by the post office for September 24, 2018 but is just now arriving.

Company has been slow to take action on my claim.
9/4/18 - car accident, their client at fault. It is now 9/17 and I am STILL waiting for a quote from their adjuster so I can make arrangements to get my car fixed. I have spoken with agent Jacob Stiff several times, and the last time was 9/13, and he said he'd have the information for me by 9/14. It is now 9/17 and no more information. I have to email/call them daily and it is taking WAY too long. LOUSY response time.

Desired Outcome

I want to be able to take my car into the body shop for repairs. They already said they will fix it, but I can't do anything until I get their information, which they keep promising to get to me.

They did come through with the check, but I had to go over my assigned agent's head to get any updates and action because he never communicated with me (in a timely manner.) called for a insurance quote they took 329..10 out of my checking account without my authorization
I called for a car insurance quote for my grandaughter *** and I gave them my checking account number without saying I wanted the insurance and I did not sign anything they took 329.10 out of my checking account immediately I need my money back I need o\it for bills I am 84 years old and will never call anyone again for quotes they dont want to return my money help me please

This company is GARBAGE! Beyond Unprofessional! I have been waiting almost a month for a claim to be resolved
This company is GARBAGE! Beyond Unprofessional! I have been waiting almost a month for a claim to be resolved. My adjuster Nicole, hasn't returned any calls in over two weeks. Her manager, *** hasn't returned calls or voicemails either. I guess when one person in the claims department goes on vacation the whole department goes on vacation. Terrible customer service! I am beyond done with this company as soon as this claim is resolved. And I DO NOT want a response apologizing with an email to get ahold of someone. My next step will be directly to the CEO of the company to let him know how incompetent his company and employees are

I was in a accident, they considered car totalled. Can not reach them or get info.
Accident occurred, filed claim, been three months, I call, email, and leave messages, I've tried supervisors etc. Each time I managed to reach them they tell me something else has to be done. It had been months since the wreck. Months since they said car was totaled. And a month almost since they told me the last step was to sign and return a paper. I did that and make it from post office. They claim they never received it and would call me back. Ice been calling and calling with no luck, and no return call

Desired Outcome

To be contacted and have this claim closed, to be reimbursed for the three weeks I had to rent a car, while they took to long to close claim. Making it extremely hard to refinance a new car. And three months my old car has been in default, ruining my credit.

On September , 2018, a call was placed and an email sent to the complainant advising her of the pending power of attorney document needed from her so that the claim could be settled and concluded. I mailed this letter to them in post office 4 weeks ago.when I told them today if be in the office to sign a new one. They conveniently told me it arrived in the mail today. Just like 3 weeks of calling and sending emails with no response. The day after I filedthis compliant they finally returned a call. They said in email today, that payment would be issued immediately. We'll see
