Absolutely The Worst Insurance Company Ever!!!
This has to be the worst insurance company I have ever been in contact with. One of their insured backed into my parked car on 2/16/18 causing rear-end damage and I have been unable to get a resolution on this claim. I have contacted them several times and submitted all requested documentation several times. I am on hold as I'm typing this complaint and have been now for 58 minutes and counting. I have diligently called 3 times every month since the accident and was told as recently as 6/25/18 that the adjuster that was working on my claim quit and it was sent to someone else and they would be contacting me but as of today still have not been contacted. What do I need to do to get this claimed resolved. I can't even open my trunk do to the damage. I am a college student majoring in criminal justice and this makes me want to steer more towards business law fighting for the little people agaist major companies. I NEED A RESOLUTION ASAP!!!

Desired Outcome

Need to have my claim processed and the damages to my car repaired.

I have been driving on a damaged car for a month now and they will not return my calls. They cancel the body shop from repairing my car.
Very bad customer service, unprofessional. They are inconsiderate and do not answer their phones

Re: claim TXXXXXXXXX. I was told the payment on this claim would be sent on 6/13/18 FROM THE Florida office. Not received
6/26/18 notified adjuster for 2nd time payment not received and asked if check went to post office on 6/13/18 or to their mail room. He said their mail room. I then asked him to find out when it went to post office and to have bank checked to make sure no one else cashed check. He said was not in Florida, he was in Texas and could not do either one. I also let him know that the letter dated 6/11/18 from him was not mailed by the Florida office until 6/20/18. I called the claim office and requested to talk to the Florida office several times but was not transferred there. I was told a supervisor would call me back but that did not happen either.

Desired Outcome

I want someone from the the Florida office to call me and if I am not able to answer because I am busy at work, I want a message left including a number I can call the same person back. I want to know if the check was taken to the post office, and if so what date it was taken there. If it was not mailed, I want it sent to me over night. If it was mailed on or before 6/25 then I want them to make sure that the check was not stolen and cashed.

One of there insurer drivers caused an accident on 4/13 with me and they have been moving so slow in taking ownership of the accident
The party insurer by them was found at fault for the accident that happened on 4/13 my car was totaled because they have been moving so slow my insurance company stepped in and covered everything and charged me 1000 deductible. I've been in contact with this company for months attempt to speak to my adjuster who always sent me to his voicemail and never returned a call spoke with supervisors sent the complete police report from the accident and my insurance adjuster info to get a call on 6/22 by MR Hines telling me they have taken fault they just got the info that I sent over a month again he assured me that he was going to get my check processed and I should get it within 7 to 10 business days I call to check status on 7/2 and I was hung up on and sent to different voicemails told I was going to get a callback and never did so I called 7/3 to be placed on hold for a supervisor for over 30 mins to again be transferred to a voicemail

I just want to be refunded for my deductible of 1000 and to pay my insurance for covering the total cost of my vehicle because my care was totaled

This is absolutely the worst experience with an insurance company I have ever had. I was rear ended at a red light a month ago and I can't get the adjuster or his supervisor to return calls or emails. I have sent numerous emails and left several voice messages with barely any response. the adjuster emailed me 2 weeks ago stating he needed to talk to his insured. When I email/call back 2 weeks later for a status update, I now get no response at all. My claim # is CTXXXXXXXXX. I would appreciate a call from somebody....ANYBODY to let me know the status of my claim. It has been a month, and I cant get the adjuster or his supervisor to return calls/emails.

one of their clients hit my car. they yet have not repaired my car. They have never sent a adjuster out to look at car. keep getting the run around.
I was going down the 17th street. It is a one way. at the corner of Daughtry and 17th, a car hit me. the *** lady was trying to cross the road. she was *** whom just bought the car. Insurance was with A-Max. whom is Windhaven insurance. the claim number is CTXSXXXXXXXX
Someone did call for a report on what happen. I told them. The contact I received is with Nicholas Porter at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX and extension 8044. I have talked to him many times. he says it was closed.he opened the case and again it was closed by someone. he doesn't know who. every time he says someone will call me within 48 hours. this is going on now since August 25th of 2017. I have called and talked to Nicholas 30 times or more. half of the time I do not get him. goes to voice mail. never returns my call. it is going on a year now. something needs to be done about this. the girl that hit me, *** is at fault. I had the right a way. she was to stop at the sign and wait. she tried to speed across before I got there. I tried to avoid hitting. swerved to right but the left side front got hit. The insurance asked me about the damage and if I can still use my car. yes I can. but the door is hanging up. it makes a noise.I would say the damage is not real extensive but however I needs repairs.

My avoids and does not return my calls. He promised to reimburse me my rental costs from my insurance claim but I never received the check
My adjuster Hines McSwain avoids and does not return my calls nor emails. I had to file an insurance claim through windhaven after I was involved in a hit and run sometime last year. At first the process was smooth but hines ended up messing up my quote. Not by a measly hundred or two, but over $3,000.00. It was a long an intensive process dealing with the company. They have no other depts you can speak with regarding your claim, only the adjuster. The supervisor never answers nor return calls as well. And when you do get someone they blind transfer you to the adjuster that already isnt picking up your calls. I'm lead to believe they know who to call back and who to answer to. It finally took one kind woman to transfer me to someone in hines team, who was able to speak with the auto body shop and get everything resolved. It took alot of calling. I see why this company isn't considered credible. The man from hines team told me he would speak to hines about my rental reimbursement. After paying 1800.00 for my rental I felt entitled for a reimbursement. Before, Hines kept telling me my invoices weren't descriptive enough with the charges per day. I sent him everything I had, as far as the recipts and invoices. But he kept denying them. After being told by a member of hines team that he'd speak with Hines, I tried calling hines several times and he never answered nor returned my calls. After calling the third time (45 min hold time) I was able to get someone from claims to send him an email. I spoke to Hines and he was reluctant in giving me the reimbursement. We literally had to threeway the rental company for more information on the rental. After confirming the information, my adjuster Hines McSwain promised to send me a reimbursement check of $450.00 for my rental that I had to pay out of pocket for, which was nearly $2,000.00. But never did he sent the check. He said it'd take two days but its been a week now. I am highly enraged. I call and nobody answers. The hold time is too long to keep calling

It has been over a month since my wreck and claim has still not been settled and calls are not being returned.
Was involved in car accident on X-XX-XX which was clearly caused by a policyholder covered by Windhaven Insurance. Claim has still not been resolved and no one will return my call. I have numerous supervisors names and not one will return call to discuss claim. Received check for initial estimate to repair car, however, check does not cover the repairs and it is made out to both me and the collision center. Which I cannot do anything with. A supplement was filed and I have heard anything. I left a voicemail everyday that this needed to be resolved and a new check needs to be issued in my name and further instructions need to be given to me on what the next steps are. I get nothing. My car has been sitting in storage at the collision center and is just collecting additional charges. I want some answers and I want this claim to be resolved. This company should seriously be looked into. It is bad enough to be in a car wreck, but the stress and frustration that you have to go through to get things resolved is absolutely unnecessary. You are placed on hold for 20 minutes or more, or they put you back through the option menus then you get disconnected. All the agent's voicemails have the same message that if your call is received before 2:00 p.m. it will be returned the same day or after 2:00 p.m. it will be the next business day. That does not happen. This company should not be in business.

Desired Outcome

I want my claim settled and a check reissued to me ONLY in a fair amount for my car damage. No other name should be on the check except mine. I am the lien holder. Check that was issued does not cover the damage caused.

Until this claim is settled I do not believe one word this company has to say. When I finally received a call back, the adjuster originally assigned to my claim stated "he was transferred to another department." Yet he was reassigned to my claim. Not buying it. That doesn't explain why none of the other people didn't return any of my calls that I left messages for. I had 4 or 5 other names that I left messages for which were supposedly supervisors (one I believe was a made up name and extension. As voicemail had no name it just went directly to the beep to leave your message.) On 6-26, adjuster said he would have paperwork mailed out. It is now 7-2 and I have received nothing. So we will see just how good their word is. The response made by the business does not reflect any apology or remorse whatsoever for how the claim was handled or how poorly the business is run. So at this point, it is hard for me to accept the response. Until I see my check and it actually clears the bank, paperwork etc. it has not been resolved.

Was contacted by the adjuster from Windhaven and was told that my reimbursement for my rental car would be overnighted and that no further action was needed on my side. Also informed me that the title to my car would be transferred over to the collision center and again stated no further action on my part is needed. I ***'t understand why I turned the title over to Windhaven if they were not going to pick the car up. I could have just turned the title over to the collision center and eliminated the extra step and wasted time. I just hope that this is the "end" and nothing pops up several months down the line. I hope that Windhaven takes the necessary steps to improve how they operate and the line of communication is more open and timely. I did not like handling the situation through the Revdex.com, but I felt like I was not given any other option. I appreciate the all the help and hope this is the last time.

Constantly changing your price. Canceling service and without telling you why
Every month I've had this company it's been a new issue. First saying they didn't get mj down payment when the money was clearly out of my account. Then changing my bill 3 times. Now I go to make my payment and find out my insurance has been canceled a month. And they canceled it they day after I made my payment And never once have given me a reason we to why. I can't take this anymore. They're all I can afford but it's not worth this anymore. About to get rid of my new car because of them

Please be advised that above-mentioned policy had several endorsements that changed the policy premium. The first one increased the premium by $86.00 due to not receiving the copy of the Proof of Prior insurance for the corresponding discount that was given, second one increased the premium by $593.00 for changing vehicles and new adding driver, and the last one decreased the premium by $49.00 for adding Electronic Fund Transfer discount.
Currently Ms. policy is active and she needs to pay a balance of $819.85 between the two installments left, one due on July 13 and another due on August 13.
Please let us know if any additional information is needed.

The only time they informed me of any other changes besides when I changed my car. I turned in the documents I was never informed of my policy being canceled. Which is what I was Told it was when I called last time. That it was canceled the s the day after I made mg payment the last payment I made k called and Made sure it was only what I was paying He gave it ok to he oh thw phone assured me this would not happen. I know several others who have had issues with this company

Trying to speak with someone who can help get a lien off of my tag because car was never picked up from tow yard.
I was involved in a life threatening car accident on January 15, 2017. I was in ICU and my mom handled all of my business. She spoke with representatives, and gave all details about car. Car was never picked up from tow company and they now have a lien on my car for $458.00. For the past TWO weeks I have tried to solve this problem, but to no avail. I wait on line for 2 hours or more only to be sent to someone voicemails. I have 3 kids and need my tag. All I am asking is for them to clear this up with tow company. (Superior Tow Gainesville Florida). My policy number (WIN01407856). Please help get this settled.

On June 12, 2018 the hood of my car hit my windshield. Windhaven Insurance has not been able to resolve my issue.
On the day of my accident I called Windhaven Insurance to file a claim, the representative hung up on me after me requesting to speak with a supervisor because said rep said "Oh my God", when I asked her to speak up. When I called back they were closed for the evening.

The following morning I had to call twice in order to file a claim at which point I was told it would take 48 to 72 to speak with an adjuster. 96 hours later I still have not spoken with anybody regarding this. Since the day of the accident I have called customer service and been put on hold, waited for over a hour just to get hung up on.

At the time the representative give me my claim number she advised me to leave my car parked at Walmart because I was unable to drive it. My car is currently missing. Walmart is unable to tell me where my car. The hood of my car is in my windshield meaning my whole engine is exposed.

Desired Outcome

I need to speak with somebody regarding my car. I need to know what steps I need to take. I need to know what is the point in having this insurance company if I am still unable to speak with somebody regarding my insurance.

Rude agents, rude supervisor, terrible customer service!!!
I was involved in a car accident with one of their drivers who was at fault and called to file a claim. I had my daughter on the line to help explain what I couldn't understand and when we spoke to the first agent who was aware, she never stated that it was an issue. As my daughter was explaining what was happening, agent 1 (***) was not only rude, but kept cutting us off. We requested to speak to a supervisor three times and *** ignored all three requests. It wasn't until we said "this is the third time that we are requesting a supervisor" that she transferred us over. When the sup "Dyreks " got on the line, not only did he not apologize for his rude rep BUT he himself was rude and showed no sign of understanding as to why my daughter was on the line. He then wanted to state that my daughter couldn't be on line AFTER it was explained to him why. After expressing how terrible the rep service was, the sup Dyreks then stated that if we wanted to continue the call with the same rude rep we could. We hung up and called back and agent 2 (Michelle) hung up in our face before I could even explain why we were calling. We called back a third time and agent Gerlie had absolutely no patience and was getting frustrated every time that I stated that I (mom) didn't understand the question. Through the call, Gerlie raised her voice multiple times and was constantly rude. I'm disgusted that a company would have these kind of reps and supervisor!!!!!

I would like to be contacted by someone in the corporate level. I ***'t want to speak to another supervisor.

im having a extremely difficult time getting a real person on the phone, wait time avg 1 hour plus each time, a different adjuster each time, no
supervisors never return my calls my truck is still at garage ready to drive home now and cant get ins company to settle with shop so I can go get it. calls are never returned from mr. castro, and all around worst exp of my life. now im jobless and no transportation cause its taken 3 months to fix 14,000 in repairs and using used parts . they are a nightmare. I live way into the country and cant walk to town because of disablity I have. no recommended at all. still dont have it back yet

We started with the company late March we have automatic draft every payment from March- may came out well we got a email from our agent *** on 5/24/18 saying our policy is canceled we tired to call her several times finally got to her & she said she will call us back but never did. we ended up calling windhaven insurance sat on the phone for 3 hours the guy told us he had no idea why they canceled our policy but he told us he would reinstate it. well A week goes by and we get a letter in the mail saying We owe $1,037.77 for one payment when on our records it says this month would of been $184.75 then we ended up trying to call our agent & couldn't get through so I called windhaven & the lady told me she's canceling the payment & to call back Monday so I call my agent & she told me not to worry they ***'t have my information anymore so payment will not be taken out well a week later I get a letter in the mail from my bank & they tried to take it out & now I'm getting charged a $34.00 fee & currently we've been trying to call the agent her personal number & office & it goes straight to voice mail past 2 days & can get through to windhaven I just want my money back from May since they canceled us if though we paid & my bank fee & to cancel my policy please help!! Thank you very much for your inquiry about the above mentioned client.
Please be advised that above mentioned policy was cancelled for Non-Payment of Premium effective on 6/17/18. This policy had a discrepancy in the installment bill due to a prior Non-Sufficient Funds during the month of March. Later, when we attempted to draft the June installment payment from Mr. account, the amount was incorrectly deducted and consequently his policy was cancelled. However, if Mr. send us proof that he obtained a duplicate coverage insurance during the month of May we will be able to revise his cancellation to be effective on the inception date of his new policy. In addition, we need copy of the bank statement in which Mr. was charged an overdraft fee of $34.00 in to order to determine possible reimbursement.

Absolutely among the top three worst insurance carriers in FL. I work in a law office and unfortunately have to deal with this company frequently. There is absolutely no response to phone messages, faxes, certified letters, calls to supervisors etc. Every adjuster has the same message "I promise to return your call by the end of the business day if you call before 3 pm and before 10 am if you call after 3 pm". Never ever ever have I received a call back in that specified time. I also leave messages for the "supervisors" with the same lack of response. I can't believe that the State of Florida allows this company to stay in business. Definitely need to be investigated by the insurance commissioner. They are doing a huge disservice to their insureds and to anyone unfortunate enough to be hit by one of their insureds.

Unresponsive adjusters on every level, does not call or email back for update, has been two months since I was rear ended and I still no resolution
I was rear ended in April by a man who had windhaven. I'm sure everyone has the same thought of never hearing of windhaven insurance before, but I was still hopeful things would be swift and smooth. Windhaven adjusters started the process out on a bad note, not even able to get in contact with their insured. When I contacted the guy who rear ended me, he said windhaven has not called him once. He immediately called in and assumed responsibility. This is two weeks in at this point. It took another 3 weeks for windhaven adjusters to total out my vehicle. Might I mention that they do not provide a rental car during this time but say you pay out of pocket and they will reimburse you. Back to the total loss they offered me a property damage settlement for the total loss(XXXX) and I agreed, knowing a counter offer would delay another month. Once I turned the paper work in windhaven sent out a tow truck to take my vehicle I'm assuming to an auction. That was almost two weeks ago. I was promised that once they pick the vehicle up I would be sent my check. I have not heard from them after calling and sending over 4 emails, no response or update of the check? To top it off I am injured and have had to come out of pocket as well as find other transportation. This has been an extremely rough time for me, my wife and kids and has put us in a financial bind. The sad part is I was driving in my second day at a new job when I was rear ended. I am the one being inconvenienced financially, physically, mentally, etc yet it is not my fault. I hope that windhaven will practice better customer service in a swift and timely manner. I am confident if one of their adjusters was in an accident, they would want their claim to be handled properly as it is the right thing to do. Windhaven adjusters are extremely unresponsive, lack empathy, and truly could care less about your situation. I suspect this company won't be in business long with such poor business practices. My wife worked for geico years back and you can see the difference in standards , well lack of standards windhaven has.

To whom it may concern, We are in receipt of your correspondence. On June 12, 2018, the total loss payment check was issued to the complainant, please allow 5-7 business days for receipt.
In regard to the rental and injuries sustained, the complainant is yet to present any receipts and bills regarding these. Once these are received, they will be reviewed and addressed expeditiously. Thank you for allowing us to respond.

it has now been over 1 month and my car still is not repaired.
it has been over 1 month since my claim was filed claim# cfl18018212-001-col adjuster name***. her supervisors name is ***. they never return phone calls or emails. it took 4 weeks for them to send an approval for work to start which was not accurite and more work is required to repair the vehicle. the body shop cant get a call or email back nor can I. I have 3 children to support I cannot afford to be with out a car anylonger and cannot afford a rental car past this week.

i just want them to submit the approval to the collision shop to the repairs can be completed in a timely manner.

Sent document to have auto policy monthly charge directly debited from my bank account. They never informed me that the payment did not go through.
My policy number was ICNOXXXXXXX and the monthly charge was supposed to be auto debited from my bank account. Windhaven never informed me that there was something wrong. They cancelled my policy without notifying me. I was initially told they never received an auto debit and when my daughter called them, they told her they did receive it, however, the payment did not go through. The customer service rep stated they send out invoices which I know was false because why would they send an invoice if they cancelled the policy. WIndhaven neglected to inform me of the cancellation and my car was stolen while I was away for Mother's Day. I did not want to spend Mother's day alone because my mother passed *** on March 12 and I have been grieving. Windhaven refuses to accept any responsiblity for their mistake. I want this corrected. This is unfair. I lost my best friend, my mom, so suddenly and to be treated this way adds to my grief.

Desired Outcome

I would like my policy reinstated and my claim filed. I cannot afford to have my car fixed. Those criminals destroyed my car that I was paying for with what little money I receive. I need my car to go to appointments and to do my errands and now I have nothing.
