I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12715325, and find that this resolution is the only choice I have. I am not happy with it but I will accept itMy car is going to cost me double the price to fix because of the body work as well. I think it's unfair for insurance companies to sell insurance and then turn around and say they don't have enough money to pay when something like this happens.

Complaint: 10730828I am rejecting Alliance United's response because:First, I received NO calls from any appraiser, either of the claimed 7/or 7/dates, and NO messages were left either.More accurately, I called the adjuster's supervisor (Christy) on 7/and she agreed to have me MEET with their 'reinspector' (Arturo Alvarez) at A***'s Autobody so ALL THREE OF US could review this case together This DID NOT happen Instead, Arturo went to A***'s alone, and discussed this case without me present on 7/27.Arturo then called me later that same day (7/27), and came out to reinspect my car, and gave me a brief overview what was discussed at A***'s In short, he agreed to all the repairs that A***'s listed on their initial estimate, however with a $4/hour decrease in labor rates ($58/$instead of $62/$42) He informed me that this should amount to a total of apx $less than A***'s initial estimate of $2,212, and would raise Alliance United's settlement to apx $2,100, up from their initial ridiculous low-ball offer of $404.69.Arturo said he would have his report completed and submitted to Aliance United that same day (7/27), and that I should be receiving a copy of that along with an increased settlement offer after that I am still waiting for those.----------Note: While Alliance United continues to claim that they "will work directly with the shop of my choice" this is NOT relevant in this case, as A***'s has repeatedly told me that they WILL NOT work with Alliance United, and have even stated this in writing on their repair estimate.----------As of 7/28, I am awaiting Alliance United's revised offer, and will update this Revdex.com claim if/when that happens If they wish to contact me prior to that, please call ###-###-####.Sincerely,J*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:After a long wait finally they called me but unfortunately just to say:you should consider calling your own insurance to repair your car!! because they have not
contacted the person that crashed my car so the case maybe could be dismissed!! How is that possible the only thing I'm asking is this insurance repair my car as soon as possible

I understand your frustration but as I stated previously they are an independent broker and all fees charged by the broker for servicing your account are retained by the broker. We do not have any control or say in how the broker runs their agency. If you have already contacted the California Department of Insurance they will assist you in handling this matter

rejecting this response because: *** or emailed me to say he was no longer dealing with my claim - it is being taken over by a worker R*** ***He says I need to contact him (no reason given why Mr B*** couldn't contact me instead)I've tried to phone him several times today, and cannot get a reply or even the chance to leave a voicemailThe main number of the business constantly goes unanswered, making me wonder if the company is even still operationalThe company already has all my details: if they require more information from me, they can simply contact me via phone or email and tell me what information they needI do not intend to waste any more of my time calling numbers that are never answered

vehicle at the scene of the collision and the police had to tow your vehicle to an impoundWe hired an independent towing company to pick up your vehicle from the tow-yard.We ordered an independent appraiser see your vehicle as soon as possible the same dayWe explained this to you on September 15, We were notified by the independent appraiser the assignment was completed on September 16, We reviewed the estimate of repairs and ordered an evaluation of your vehicle by an independent firm AudatexThey provided your vehicle actual cash valueWe called you on September 25, As you can see there are many parties involved in the settlement of a total loss vehicleWe cannot control or dictate the movement of non-employees or independentsOur total loss adjuster spoke to you directly on October 13, and explained the status of your total loss

I am rejecting this response because:This statement is incorrect my car was towed to a AAA at which it was picked up by CoPart and charged a fee of $I was then told that the only way I cvould personally pick up my vehicle was if I either paid thr tow fees or agreed to let the direct sevrvices lot I was ASSIGNED to not personally CHOSENi was only given those twp options either to go with an affiliated mechanic of your choosing and pay the $deductible to have my car fixed OR pay the $fees and assume responsibility of the repairs independentlyIt was not until my adjuster assigned me to this mechanic that I gave consent for the car to be worked onHow can I "choose" a shop that I have never previously known existed before this instance? This was a case of forced choice.

You claim you cannot contact your insured driver but just sold him a new policy days agoAlso under the California Fair Settlement Practices Section 2695.7(c) you have to notify me in writing every days if more time is needed and the last writing was dated 9-17-as of 11-13-I have not received any written notice.Why would the insured be sold a new policy when you claim he has not contacted you which Corey Dickson said he is violating his policy that the insured signed

The adjuster did call me today - thank you!! Two months without a return call and with your help, I get a call within two days I really appreciate your assistance The adjuster reviewed the
information and indicated a reimbursement check would be given and I should receive it next week I am hopeful I receive the check within the next few weeks and this will resolve my issue, however I know you'll be able to help if not!I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11871503, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
