Hello, We have reviewed Ms. [redacted] complaint. The decision was made by our retention team not to refund any liquidated damages or the early termination fee. The contract states of those fees being charged if the contract isn't fulfilled. Thanks, [redacted]

A Mercury representative called me first thing this morning in response to my claimFirst, he patiently listed to my perception of the situationThen he explained that the customer service representative I spoke with on my 2nd contact with Mercury actually had already setup my account to terminate at the end of August (30-days from my date of notice) without any termination penaltyIt is unfortunate that he didn't clearly convey that resolution to meHad I known this at that time I would not have filed this complaintAside from the misunderstanding that resulted in my filing this claim, I am now perfectly satisfied with the resolution of my termination request with MercuryI feel that Mercury has treated me fairly
