Hello,We have reviewed Ms [redacted] response Below is our response to the charges Ms [redacted] is referring too in her complaint:The total amount overcharged was as follows:(dates reference "Statement Period") -May 2013, July 2013, April 2014, Feb 2014, April 2015, June - charged for "Annual PCI Compliance Support Fee" and "Compliance and Regulatory Fee" - $each fee, overcharged $Our response: Both of these fees are listed on the merchant agreement - Page Additional Fees pricing Beginning - charged "Assessment" twice on each statement, sometimes listed as "Network Acquire Fee" and/or "Minimum Charge Assessed", a charge would be listed on one page and another would be on a separate page making it difficult to notice the double charge - YTD on Dec statement Assessment charge is listed as $100, plus $additionally listed elsewhere -- Overcharged $for 2012, Overcharged $for 2013, Overcharged $for -Same Assessment fee continues for all of (except Dec 2015)- Overcharged $110Our response: Network Acquire Fee is assessed by Visa / MasterCard It's a fee that is passed through to the merchant (meaning Vantiv doesn't make any money on this fee.) It is billed at 10% of transactions or a minimum of $per month Monthly minimum charge is referenced in terms and conditions, under additional pricing information It outlines that they will get charged $per card type per month (if the processing fees don't cover $for that month)"PCI Non-Validation Fee" was to be $per our contract -- charged $ beginning July - Overcharged $49.75Our response: Notification of the fee increase was provided on April Monthly Service Invoice- $Early Termination Fee - we were not under contract - overcharged $Our Response: Page 5, section 6a of the terms and conditions states that the initial term of the agreement is months, with auto renewal of periods equal to the initial term Section 6b details the Early Termination Fee of $for de-conversion of the account Unlawfully Increased Discount Rate from 2.15% to 2.66% - Began in May -- overcharged $54.42Our Response: Notification of the fee increase was provided on the April monthly billing invoice.We have addressed all of Ms [redacted] complaints We have concluded that there was never an "overcharge" and therefore no refund is due.Thanks, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because for the past months This merchant system and my POS system has been taking money from meThey have not sent me a criedt card statment let alone a message talking bout this issueI was not informed about owing 2,dollarsalso during those months they have been taking money out of my account that is more than just a service feeEven BBT got involved because they saw that this happening on my accountThey also turned off my computer because theysaid it need to be updated and charged me dollars to update it and I also have the check to prove thatAfter I paid so that my computers would work again they still charged me every dayAnother thing is that when I first got the system them and the POS system has teamed up and the merchants told me that I had to get that specific system and in doing so they charged me dollars for the computers and system which I agreed withAfter I paid they brought this problem about updating and everything started happen Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]
Hello,We have reviewed Ms [redacted] complaint Ms [redacted] claims that a she attempted to close the account in September We never received her close letter Ms [redacted] is asking for all fees refunded since September Since we did not receive the close letter, we cannot refund over months of fees However we are willing to refund a month courtesy and have her account closed from future billing We will process the refund and it will be deposited into the bank account on file.Thanks, [redacted]
