Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,*** ***

We apologize for any delay over the weekendOur Agent Care Team reached out to this user today to address any concernsPlease see attached screenshot of correspondence for reference

Listening to the zillow sales pitch on how great there leads are and how they spend time scrubbing a lead to verify they are legitimate people looking to buy when they send them overThe price is more than your mortgage though! With the hefty price tagAnother agent and I decided to split the costThis was the biggest mistake ever! From day one we were not notified when leads came inOur profile would never updateThe leads were utter garbageMost of the leads we received had agents already or they wanted to buy a mobile homeNo real estate involved! We have been on the phone since day one with all the tech issues and garbage leadsHowever zillow had no concern with fixing any issuesThey would like to speak on the phone for hours saying repetitive robotic answers, empty promises about resolving issuesBut the issues just go on and onThe charges just go on and onAt this point zillow has not completed there end of the contract however they want to penalize us for there negligence

In searching our database, the Zillow profiles associated with *** and c*** have been closed and unsubscribed from email alertsThis individual should not receive any further automated emails from us
Regarding the property in question, this property is currently
displayed as "off market" on our site which means the home is not for rent or for sale at this timeWe display property information on Zillow to provide consumers with transparent real estate informationWe receive this information from public records gathered by a third-party data collector from each county and from user-provided submissionsProperty data appears on Zillow regardless of if the home is actively listed for sale or for rentOur mission is to empower consumers with information and tools to make smart decisions about homes, real estate and mortgages.
The Zestimate is an estimate calculated using computer-generated formulaThe Zestimate is designed to be a neutral, unbiased estimate of the fair market value of a home based on publicly available and user-submitted dataAlthough Zillow strives to provide accurate home valuations, the Zestimate value is meant only to serve as a starting point in determining a home's valueIt is not intended to replace a comparative market analysis or an appraisal, as they can take into account market intricacies that the Zestimate cannot.
We understand that some homes may be unique in ways that are not well captured by existing data and our current Zestimate modelTo provide more information on a home, we encourage a homeowner to also include an estimated value in the ‘Owners Estimate’ section of the property pageThis provides the opportunity for to explain what they feel their homes are worth given any unique features Additionally, we provide homeowners with the tools to edit a number of facts and the photos that appear on their property pagesBy editing the home facts directly, they can ensure the home information is as up-to-date and accurate as possible.
For the reasons provided above, we do not remove entire property pages, public record information, or Zestimates from our databaseThis information will remain on our site in accordance with our Terms of Use: http://www.zillow.com/corp/Terms.htm

The Zestimate is an estimated value and not an advertisement of actual valueIt is computed using a proprietary formula. Some of the data used in this calculation include physical attributes, tax assessments, and prior and current transactions. The Zestimate is calculated
from public and user-submitted data, taking into account special features, location, and market conditions. If the home facts are incomplete or incorrect, homeowners can edit the data that appears on our site. Updates to the home facts will be factored into a home's Zestimate calculation, however, if the updates are not significant enough to impact the home's value, the Zestimate may not change. The Zestimate is simply an estimate using the data available for a propertyPlease know that we do not intend for the Zestimate to replace a comparative market analysis or an appraisal, as they can take into account market intricacies that the Zestimate cannotThe Zestimate is really meant to be a starting point in determining a home’s value. It is not an appraisal. We encourage buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as:
Getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent
Getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser
Visiting the house (whenever possible)We understand that some homes may be unique in ways that are not well captured by existing dataTo provide more information on a property, we encourage homeowners to include their estimated value in the ‘Owners Estimate’ section of the property pageThis provides the opportunity for them to explain what they feel your home is worth given its unique features. We do not manually change or remove individual ZestimatesWhile we monitor customer feedback for systematic issues with the Zestimate model, we do not change individual Zestimates in response to customer feedbackReports of possible issues with Zestimates are recorded to help with efforts to improve the model in the future. To learn more about the Zestimate, we encourage all of our users to visit this link: http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, *** ***

Everytime I contact an agent to get more information regarding a home, there is a check box if I would like further financing informationI always check noIrregardless and without fail, immediately after submitting my request for information I get an email with financing information for the addressThis is peddling their own services before others even when directed not to and it is unwanted

We have purchased this home and requested no less than times for the fraudulent rental listing for this home be removedWe are the owners and this home is NOt for rentWe have had multiple people knock on the door, found people walking around our property, stop us outside and people stopping and taking photos of house
This is unacceptable as we have requested multiple times for non existent listing to be removed immediately
We fear the safety of our family as we have nothing idea who these people are that are coming to our home, knocking on our door and wandering aromatic no our property
This is fraudulent advertising and we will be forced to file a police complaint if this is not rectified

Like this individual, Zillow strives to have updated listing information and understand this is a time-sensitive matterListings are sent to Zillow through a variety of feed sources such as partners, brokers, agents, third-party feed providers, and in some cases, directly from an MLSCurrently,
this listing is being sent to Zillow via a listing feed from agent, Kara H*** with Forest Properties, Inc. Since agent listing feeds are controlled by a third-party, Zillow does not have access to directly update this listingIf the agent experiences technical difficulties, they can contact [email protected] and one of our technical account managers will be able to assist. Regarding the agent shown on the listing, we recently experienced a bug which caused the claimed owner to display as the listing agent when they manually edited the listing on Zillow. We were able resolve this issue and the agent displayed on the listing is Kara H*** with *** *** *** However, since the listing is being sent to Zillow from an agent, we suggest that all future edits/updates to the listing be made by listing agent at the source of the listingOnce the agent updates the listing at the source, those updates will automatically syndicate to Zillow within 24-hours, if not less. Beyond this, there is no further action we can take on our end at this time

To Whom It May Concern:I have verified that *** ***'s number is in fact showing correctly on ZillowI've attached a screenshotIf *** is still seeing the incorrect information, she should try clearing her cache

Zillow is a media company displaying listing and home data on behalf of agents, property managers, and homeownersZillow does not directly manage the listings that appear on our siteThis is made clear in our Terms of Use (http://www.zillow.com/corp/Terms.htm)The listing data that appears on Zillow is a reflection of the information sent to our site from a third-party feedWhen Zillow received new pricing information from the listing agent, it was reflected on our siteThe desired resolution for this complaint was a request for Zillow pay this individual $10,As mentioned previously, we do not provide compensation for any type of issue regarding the price history on Zillow, under any circumstanceNo additional action will be taken at this time

We are currently still investigating this issueBased off the email addresses provided previously, we were unable to locate any active accounts associated with ***@live.com and ***@r1s1.comHowever after further investigation, when searching by this individual's name in our database, we did locate another email address (***@outlook.com) that is actively subscribedIf this individual can please confirm if this is also one of their email addresses, we'd be happy to get this additional account unsubscribed and closed

Zillow.com has had my home listed "for sale" for the last seven days My home is not for sale The listing the are showin on their website is from I have tried contacting Zillow.com's customer care via email for four days in a row No response No resolution They don't make it easy to contact them No phone numbers available I have people stopping in front of my house and calling the former real estate agent from to see the house I contacted the former real estate agent and he doesn't know how or why this old listing is showing up on Zillow The agent said it was not posted by his company and this was Zillow's responsibility

Foreclosure data is sent to Zillow from a third-party that aggregates public records dataOn occasion, this information can get misreported to us which looks to be the case hereThe foreclosure status has been removed and the update is effective immediately: *** *** *** **
*** ** ***

First, we would like to apologize for the way the previous correspondence was handledThere appeared to be some miscommunication and we will follow up to coach this individual accordinglly. With regards to the sales data, Zillow receives sales information from a third-party that aggregates county public records data and from agent-reported salesCurrently, we have not received information on this sale from our data-providers or from an agent involved in the sale Once we receive more information from either our public record data-provider or an agent involved with the sale, this sale will get uploaded into our database and automatically added on to the property pageUnfortunately, we aren't able to manually add sales dataHowever, we can remove transactions that were erroneously reported to usWe have removed the incorrectly reported sale from this property page as requested. With regards to the Zestimate, because the specifics of the Zestimate calculation are proprietary, we cannot provide more specific reasons for an individual change. Again, we would like to stress that the Zestimate is not an appraisal and we make every effort to educate our users that the Zestimate is only an estimate It is a starting point and does not consider all the market intricacies that can determine the actual price a house will sell forWe make this clear to all users on our site (http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/) As we have already stated previously, we did roll out an update to the algorithm recentlyWhen we launched the update, it triggered the recalculation of the ZestimateThe Zestimate algorithm recalculates individual Zestimates daily based off the data available for the home using the new modelThis is the driving cause for the change this individual saw in their Zestimate. We encourage buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as:* Getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent* Getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser* Visiting the house (whenever possible)We have already shared this individual's feedback to our developers but we do not have an option to manually change, remove, or provide specific detailed information on changes for an individual ZestimateBeyond this, there is no further action or information we can provide at this time

My property located at *** *** *** *** ** *** has been listed for sale on ZILLOW's website since December
During the last five months of ZILLOW advertising my property, there has been a continuous posting of incorrect information and no posting of the description of property at timesMy home is two thousand one hundred and twelve square feet under roofZILLOW has under roof posted at over two thousand seven hundred square feetI have left phone messages with my home phone number, stating the info to be corrected, along with my home phone line number and also sent ZILLOW a text messageZILLOW's posting states my home selling for around $a sq footIn reality it is around $a sq footI am paying a realtor 6% to sell my home; approximately $8000.00-9000.00, which includes web postings to advertise the saleOther websites include Trulia and Realtor.comThe info (sq feet) on their sites is correct and updated immediately when a price change occurs

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:the LEGAL address of the house as recognized by all LEGAL entities should be the guidelines usedEvery house, whether urban or RURAL, has a city attached for the legal addressThis is NOT arbitrary, it is the address and legally assigned city/town for that propertyZillow, in reality, listed our house under a different townThis effectively detracted potential buyers, because people KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THAT A RURAL PROPERTY WITH ACREAGE IS UNDERSTOOD TO BE OUT THE THE "TOWN" IT WAS DECEPTIVE TO ASSIGN THIS PROPERTY A NEW ADDRESSPotential buyers looking for a RURAL CLOQUET PROPERTY, where homeowners children would attend Cloquet schools and we're the current and all past owners are considered Cloquet residentswell why is it OK for Zillow to IGNORE the legal address in favor of maps that are NOT used to assign legal addresses? I sent tax papers to prove the county, the address and the property legal descriptionTheir POLICY is flawed.
Sincerely,*** ***

Listed my house FSBO on Zillow on 9/with picture and narrative about houseGot emails days later saying my listing has been accepted and I could view my listing by clicking on boxWhen box was clicked a circle popped up saying "system error 500" I can't view or change listing and when I search the listing does not show upcalled 206-470-some guy said to just repost listing(only time I could ever get a live person)when I try to repost and put in my address which i'm asked for it says the house is already listed....have left messages on customer cr and have submited questions on the online help format asking for call back....nothing

In reviewing our records, we have previously communicated with this individual regarding this requestTo recap, the Zestimate is an estimate produced by a computer-generated algorithm using public and user-submitted data available for each individual homeAs a result, we cannot manually change or
remove an individual Zestimate. Please keep in mind that the Zestimate is not a fixed valueIt is an estimate - not an appraisal - and we make this clear on our site (www.zillow.com/zestimate)It is both common and anticipated that the Zestimate for a home will fluctuate which is why we also provide a Zestimate Range on each property pageThe Zestimate Range is the high and low estimate calculated by the Zestimate algorithmThe more information, the smaller the range, and the more accurate the Zestimate tends to beIt may also fluctuate when any new information is made available or if there are updates to the Zestimate algorithm model.Recently, we launched an update to the Zestimate algorithmAs a result, some Zestimates increased immediately, while some decreasedThe change this individual is describing is due to the Zestimate algorithm being updated. When major improvements to the algorithm are made, it does re-compute the Zestimates for affected homes.People ultimately have more fundamental reasons that drive what they choose to buy or not buyOur data shows that half of all sales are generally above the Zestimate. Zillow encourages buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent; getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser; visiting the house (when possible). While we monitor customer feedback for system-wide issues with the algorithm, we cannot change or remove individual Zestimates in response to customer feedbackThis feedback has already been recorded and it will be used to help improve the Zestimate algorithm as a whole in the future. There is no further action or information we can provide at this time

I am the owner/Agent of a residential propertyThe listing was inputed to the MLS system for the Houston area and everything is fine with that service, the problem is that Zillow is showing the property as a foreclosure when it is NOTI have written times and the Houston Association of Realtors has written times and Zillow refuses to change there version of the listing with no explanation of why they will not change itThe only response I get is an automated email saying they are looking into itI have requested if they cant change it than please remove the listing from there web sight again no response or action The problem with this is when people look at the listing they think it is a foreclosure when it is not and they have a foreclosure estimate on the listing that has nothing to do with realityWhat I am asking is to change the listing to reflect what is correct or to remove the listing from there service
