The original desired resolution for this complaint was to have the Zestimate for this individual's home updatedAs we previously explained, the Zestimate is produced by an algorithm using the data available for a specific homeWe do not manually change individual Zestimates. Again, the Zestimate is meant only to serve as a starting point in determining a home's valueIt is not an appraisalOur estimating method differs from that of an appraisal or a comparative market analysis. With regards to the other property mentioned in the rejection notice, we have remapped the icon for that home on our mapHowever, moving the icon of another home on the map typically has little influence on another home's Zestimate calculationIt is unlikely that this action will trigger the Zestimate algorithm to recalculate for the subject propertyGeographically, the data we use is much larger than a neighborhood or a specific neighboring home. I've been receiving unsolicited text messages from Zillow.reached out several times over email and via text over the last months at leastI continue to receive unwanted text messages from themThe customer service rep told me I had to pay a $fee to cancelI have never signed up for text alerts or messages from them or any other services from them

A strange phone call cme to me today from someone who claimed to be Robert from ZillowHe said he was taking my zillow listing down after I verified my addressThe listing has been up on zillow with Carol and Co so I now wished to do by ownerI told him I did not want my listing removed and requested to talk to a supervisorHe refused and said his supervisor is in a meeting

Since July 4th weekend to the present, (2) of Zillow's customers have contacted me on my new cell phone/number which, I just happened to receive on July 4th weekendBoth of these calls were to inquire about a rental apartment in Queens, NY which I never listed nor have I ever conducted business with ZillowWhen I inquired with these customers on how they received my number, both of them told me that they found a listing on Zillow, dialed a number where the person then instructed them to call my cell! Both customers could not recall who they spoke with; they just said that they were told to call me!

After further investigation, we have activated this individuals accountThey should be able to access and post listings from this account at this time

I have asked Zillow after multiple attempts to get this fixedZillow has changed their calculation methods of valuing homesThe algorithm is not close to accurate at allIt appears to be flawedMy home dropped in value by halfI am asking that Zillow take my home off their site or delist their dollar assesment of my propertyTheir listing of my property is a type of slander and or improper adverstisement and negatively affects many aspects of my propertyLoan to value calculations, potential buyers etcSome of the below was sent to Zillow but with no satisfactory reply from themThe appearance and rating of this value published on the internet devalues my home of which again, is impossible to get to your stated valuePlease look at the comparable homesI do not appreciate Zillows comment that Zillows value is not a comp, as we all know we would get a professional appraisal as neededWhat I am commenting about and asking for a removal etc is that this bad press is a type of
