I paid for services not provided by zillowPaid for six months to get leads (for real estate clients) and did not receive anyZillow kept trying to upgrade my membership and charge me even more with the excuse that this would bring some leads, which of course I did not want to upgrade and pay even more for this scam that was generating leadsI have confronted Zillow sales person regarding this scam serviceI requested full refund for the services they failed to provide and I did not hear anything back

The original desired resolution for this complaint was to place the pin for this house accurately, which has already been completedThe rejection reason addresses a separate issue but we're happy to provide additional information. Regarding the Zestimate, this is an estimate calculated by a computer-generated algorithmAs a result, we cannot manually change or remove individual ZestimatesThe Zestimate is calculated from public and user-submitted data for each individual home, taking into account items such as home facts (beds, baths, sq ft), sale history, and tax history. Although Zillow strives to provide accurate estimates, the Zestimate is meant only to serve as a starting point in determining a home's valueIt is not intended to replace a comparative market analysis or an appraisal, as they can take into account market intricacies that the Zestimate cannotOur estimating method differs from that of an appraisal or a comparative market analysis. There is not currently a feature available to select individual comps that influence a Zesitmate calculationGeographically, the data we use is much larger than a neighborhood or a specific neighboring homeHowever, this may be a something that we look into adding in the future but it is not available at this time.In the meantime, we encourage buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research to supplement the Zestimate such as:* Getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent* Getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser* Visiting the house (whenever possible)While we monitor customer feedback for systematic issues with the Zestimate formula, we do not change or remove individual Zestimates in response to customer feedbackReports of possible issues with Zestimates are recorded to help with efforts to improve the algorithm as a whole in the future. To learn more about the Zestimate, please visit this link: http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/

Zillow ropes Realestate Agents into large contracts with the promise of legitimate leadsThey tell you that you will have a specific market share and to anticipate a certain amount of leadsWhat the never inform you of, is that you market share fluctuates constantly and that you can be bought downThey also scam you into clicking the auto renew button making you feel like you have to "lock in" you market share which can never actually be locked in! Im days into the new contract period, of which I didn't want, and they tell me I have to pay $to get out of it, that wouldn't be so bad if I received advertising for the additional months ($1000/month was the contract) but they will cancel all advertising today, which again, seems like they are trying to STEAL from agents Absolutely ridiculous!!! Zillow best advertising is scaring agents into contracts and not actually giving valuable leads

In reviewing our records, this individual is currently in communication with a member of our Consumer Care TeamTo recap, this For Sale By Owner listing was only posted by and associated with this individual's email addressThe listing was not listed by any other individuals and no agents have
access to make changes to this listingIt appears that there is some confusion regarding the contact form that appears on the listing.
If a For Sale By Owner listing is posted directly on Zillow, we display a list of buyer's agents that prospective buyers can contact to assist and represent them in the home buying process. The buyer’s agent list is a feature available on active For Sale By Owner listings on Zillow.
The current layout of our website includes the buyer's agents along with the property owner on the contact formThe contact box provides multiple points of contacts to potential buyers (see attachment)The property owner's contact information is listed in the contact box for users to contact them directly if they do not wish to work with a buyer's agent
If an agent's name is checked when a buyer submits an inquiry, the agent would receive a notification indicating they need assistance representing them with the saleIf the Property Owner's box is checked when submitting an inquiry, the homeowner receives a notification directly from the buyerEssentially when a buyer inquires about a property, they choose who they want to contact - either the property owner or a buyer's agent (who can then contact the property owner on behalf of the buyer)
The homeowner is not obligated to work with any of these buyer's agents and again, the buyer's agents cannot make any changes to this listingIt is merely a tool for home buyers to get in contact with a buyer's agent should they want one to help them through the buying processWe do not remove the buyer’s agent list from a For Sale By Owner listingZillow wants to provide a helpful service to home buyers and make it as easy as possible for owners to sell their home

After further investigation, we have activated this individuals accountThey should be able to access and post listings from this account at this time

I have asked Zillow after multiple attempts to get this fixedZillow has changed their calculation methods of valuing homesThe algorithm is not close to accurate at allIt appears to be flawedMy home dropped in value by halfI am asking that Zillow take my home off their site or delist their dollar assesment of my propertyTheir listing of my property is a type of slander and or improper adverstisement and negatively affects many aspects of my propertyLoan to value calculations, potential buyers etcSome of the below was sent to Zillow but with no satisfactory reply from themThe appearance and rating of this value published on the internet devalues my home of which again, is impossible to get to your stated valuePlease look at the comparable homesI do not appreciate Zillows comment that Zillows value is not a comp, as we all know we would get a professional appraisal as neededWhat I am commenting about and asking for a removal etc is that this bad press is a type of

Since July 4th weekend to the present, (2) of Zillow's customers have contacted me on my new cell phone/number which, I just happened to receive on July 4th weekendBoth of these calls were to inquire about a rental apartment in Queens, NY which I never listed nor have I ever conducted business with ZillowWhen I inquired with these customers on how they received my number, both of them told me that they found a listing on Zillow, dialed a number where the person then instructed them to call my cell! Both customers could not recall who they spoke with; they just said that they were told to call me!

Zillow receives sales information from a third-party that aggregates public records data and from agent-reported salesOn occasion, this information can get misreported to us which looks to be the case hereAfter verifying with county records, we have updated the sale transaction in our database
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to correct it

Zillow has incorrectly listed my property at *** *** *** *** *** ** *** as being in the city of San FernandoI purchased the property in July of and it has always been in the city of Granada HillsI have written to Zillow's complaint department over one month ago and submitted proof to them from the title company that handles my property as well as showed them proof from the county assessor's officeThey have not responded or corrected the problemAdditionally, companies like Redfin, Trulia, and Homesnap have my property correctly listed as being in Granada Hills, but Zillow refuses to acknowledge the accuracy of those companiesIt's an issue because I was trying to rent out my home, but people think that the home is in the city of San Fernando, which is a lower class neighborhood about five miles away from my locationPlease instruct Zillow to fix the problemTheir inaccuracy is hurting my livelihoodI even spoke to the neighbors on each side of me and the

We recently implemented a new verification process for manually posted listings on our site to help improve listing qualityOnce a listing is submitted, it can take some time for our Listing Verification Team to review and approve the listing so long as it meets our Listing Quality Policy
guidelines (https://www.zillow.com/corp/Quality.htm)There have been some delays with this new system site wide and have been working to get listings reviewed and posted as quickly as possible. In reviewing our records, our team has already been in touch with this individual and we were able to successfully post the For Sale By Owner listing: https://www.zillow.com/*** The home now appears actively For Sale By Owner on ZillowIf this individual needs assistance in the future, we encourage them to contact our Consumer Care Team via our Help Center at www.zillow.com/help

In July of I agreed to use Zillow to get leads for real estateThe contract was for months at $3,I contacted them in October of to try and end my contract with them, since it required a month noticeI was told that I had to pay to end the contract before December So I told my contact person that I didn't get any sales from the leads they sentThe clients either didn't have the credit for financing or have the ability to buy or they were just looking not ready to purchase property1/of the clients were looking for rental property as wellZillow was informed we don't handle rental propertiesIn January of my bank card was debited for $When I contacted Zillow they informed me that they would not credit it back because I didn't cancel the contractHowever I did request for them to cancel it in October of at the end of the terms, which were to be December They refused to credit the full amount they finally agreed to credit $wh

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Total customer service fail and an absolute rip off of the consumerHad Zillow held up the same agreement I had with *** there would have been no cancellation and there would be a satisfied customerIt's a true shame that Zillow chooses to treat customers in this fashion. Sincerely,*** ***
