Please be advised that the complainant is not our consumer but rather a third party claimant pursuing a claim for damages against our insured's policy Upon our notice of this loss, the handling adjuster immediately began an investigation into this matter This loss was reported to Founders Insurance Company on October 11, Our inspection of the complainant's vehicle revealed that the damages exceeded the value Accordingly, the vehicle was deemed a total loss Upon completion of our investigation into this loss, the complainant's file was referred to our Total Loss Department on October 25, where the actual cash value of the vehicle would be obtained and discussions of settlement would take place On November 1, 2016, the handling adjuster contacted the complainant and extended a settlement offer Our offer was accepted and payment was subsequently processed Founders Insurance Company does apologize to the complainant for any inconvenience that the claims process may have caused him Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: After numerous failed attempts at getting in touch with the assigned adjuster or her supervisor I decided to file this complaint with the Revdex.comIt wasn't until I received confirmation from the Revdex.com that Founders Insurance had received the complaint that the supervisor decided to reach out and the adjuster had finally responded to my emails the day after the supervisor calledDuring the call is when the supervisor attempted to rephrase everything told to me upon initial contactA police report was not filed because their insured begged me not to call, being in an already high crime area I agreed not to have police come if his insurance was valid and this is stated in the recorded statement I had given the insurance company back in April Initially I was told that they'd spoken with their insured and only needed more information regarding the vehicle owner instead of their insuredOnce given the information that the vehicle was not available to their insured at all times (which per the adjuster would make the claim valid) they requested the information of the vehicle owner instead of handling the claim themselvesAccording to their CSR the insured gave them the information of the vehicle owner and they were basically putting the accident off on themThis in my opinion is why the insured and the vehicle owner stopped responding to the insurance or myselfI gained all of this information after filing this complaint and the company had no choice but to respondOtherwise, I would still be leaving messages and sending emails that were going ignored for weeks Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The Complainant has been contacted and an offer has been tendered We are presently waiting for her lien holder to send us a copy of the title to issue payment

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/06/24) */ When the Complainant reported his vehicle stolen we explained the process in detail including a day waiting period, which is a waiting period to see if the vehicle will be recoveredThe loss was reported to us on May 4, The vehicle was not recovered, so the file was transferred to our Total Loss Department on June 5, to prepare for settlementDuring the waiting period we continued to communicate by phone and e-mailWhen the file reached the Total Loss Department a valuation was run to determine the value of the vehicle, and an offer was tenderedAfter obtaining the necessary paperwork from the Complainant's lien holder and from him, the claim was settled [redacted] Senior Claims Manager (XXX) XXX-XXXX [redacted] @foundersinsurance.com

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Yes I did receive payment in this matter, however I was shorted $1, founders took too long processing, were horrible with customer service in handing this matter, and they appeared to always be dragging the entire processI do consider the matter closed however I am exxtremely dissatisfied as a paying customer as they did not provide professional customer service in a timely manner to an individual with a paid policyThey did not deliver what they advertised or what I paid for, they were elusive, they have stalled and have been disrespectful meI will not do business with them again nor do I advise anyone else do business with themI give them a grade of "F" for their handling of this matter Sincerely, Jason [redacted]

Upon our notice of this loss, the handling adjuster immediately began an investigation into this matter A coverage issue was identified as a review of the complainant's Motor Vehicle Record revealed that she did not have a valid driver's license Accordingly, a coverage investigation commenced Our investigation revealed that due to inaccuracies on the application for insurance, Founders Insurance Company has rescinded the complainant's policy making it null and void The complainant was advised of this decision on November 5, and correspondence advising of the same was sent out Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me

Please be advised that our investigation into the damages being claimed by the complainant are to both the left and right rear quarter panels The main impact to the complainant's vehicle shows a side-swipe type of impact to the left quarter panel Based upon this type of impact, it was determined that the right side damages are not related to this loss Accordingly, our settlement offer in the amount of $remains available to the complainant This amount reflects the left side damage estimate of $less the complainant's $deductible, less betterment of $due to prior bumper damage

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThere indeed was a policy issue I hadn't had any knowledge of until last week.My conversations with the company were from my persistent calling and never really got me anywhere but again the policy issue was an unknown at the timesince that has been resolved founders has infact acted in timely fashionAnd while it is 9/and I still don't have my car I was told this morning that I have been authorized for repair [redacted] has been extremely helpful in the masher but I must say several of Founders reps were rude to not only myself but my to representative as wellA [redacted] in particular.I have yet to get the rental car because first I needed authorization which I jus recieved today which is appx.a month later.And while I am satisfied with the outcome, the process of this matter was not a "customer friendly" oneAnd after a horrible accident like that Customer service should be immediate and prestine.No matter what the issue as my full coverage auto insurer it should never take days for repair & rental authorization.Thank you for your time Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Please be advised that our position remains unchanged from our previous response Founders Insurance Company will be continuing settlement negotiations with Progressive upon our receipt and review of the additional documentation Founders Insurance Company will contact the complainant with status once this is completed

Please be advised that the complainant in this matter is not our consumer but rather a third party claimant pursuing a claim against our insured's policy Upon our notice of this loss, the handling adjuster immediately began an investigation into this matter Our investigation into the facts surrounding this loss revealed that while our insured was the proximate cause of this loss, they were not 100% responsible Accordingly, the complainant was contacted on May 13, and was advised that we were accepting 60% liability for this loss The complainant advised that they were pursuing their damages through their own carrier Upon our receipt and review of the subrogation demand from the complainant's insurance carrier, discussions of settlement began On August 16, 2016, the handling adjuster reached a settlement agreement with [redacted] for the property damage and payment was issued The settlement amount included the complainant's out of pocket rental expenses as provided by *** In regards to any claim for bodily injury, we request that the complainant submit detailed medical records and itemized bills for our review Upon our receipt and review of this information, the complainant will be contacted Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me

Please be advised that the handling adjuster attempted to contact the injured party, [redacted] , on October 14, A detailed message was left on her voicemail providing her with our mailing address, fax number, claim number and the adjusters direct phone number Detailed medical records and itemized bills were requested Upon our receipt and review of the requested information, Ms [redacted] will be contacted to discuss this matter further

The Complainant filed a claim with us on May 25, Arrangements were made to have Complainant take her vehicle to an area shop for an estimate, which was done on May Upon receipt of the estimate a staff appraiser reviewed it for accuracy, and the Complainant was contacted and her claim was settled

Dear Sir or Madam,The date of loss for the claim reported was 7/18/so the Ms [redacted] is mistaken that this claim has been open since June 19thAdditionally the vehicle was determined to be a total loss within the first week of the claim, and once we received the total loss paperwork from Ms [redacted] and her lien holder, the claim was settled on 8/8/With regard to rental, rental reimbursement, we received her rental receipt on 8/8/ Payment hasbeen requested We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and we always strive to create a positive claim experience

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:I was told that an amount of approximately $was the original estimate and that a check would be sent out by Angie [redacted] Then, I was sent to their Special Investigations Unit and the investigator closed the case in my favorAfter this I was told that a check would be sent out againThereafter, calls went unreturned for weeksWhen I finally got in touch with the manager Arthur Shipp, he told me that someone would call me the next dayI received a call approximately two days later and I was told that only the left side of my vehicle would be fixedThis insurance company has made excuse after excuse, not to pay for the vehicleMy car was hit into my garbage cans in the rear of my houseThey are saying that this damage couldn't have happened by a garbage canThey never came out to my residence to complete an investigationThey are just making up excuses not to be responsible for my damaged vehicle Sincerely, Latrunda ***
