Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: no client who is not at fault should have to wait six days short of a full month to receive payment on their vehicle, therefore incurring the cost of a rental vehicle on your paying client resulted in $in the expenseTo pay for a rental car due to the negligent amount of time it took Founders [redacted] Insurance to issue payment so that I could purchase a new vehicle This accident was not my fault, I expect to receive back my $deductible, along with compensation of at least half of the rental car that I had to pay for for almost a month This accident was not my fault, you will receive your money back through the at fault party, there was no reason for this to take this incredibly long amount of time for you to issue me a payment when I am your paying customer!!! Your rude disregard of horrible customer service is not acceptable for any customer out there especially when an accident is not their fault and they had nothing to do with just being a victim, you should be there to help stand up for them not cost them more money !!!!!I would like my $deductible returned to me and I would also appreciate being compensated for half of my rental car which would be $plus my $deductible I would like my $deductible returned to me and I would also appreciate being compensated for half of my rental car which would be $plus my $deductible if we cannot solve this in this manner I will continue to move forward and file a small claims against Founders [redacted] insurance and publicize everything as much as possible on your horrible customer service Sincerely, Sheila ***

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:if I'm going to put junkyard parts on my vehicle, then I wouldn't have wasted time filing a claim with the insurance company claim was filed so vehicle would be fixed properly and with new parts only Sincerely, Ken [redacted]

Compensation was received on 2/1/2016.Thank you for your assistance BBB. Had there been better communication from Founders to me regarding the reason for the claim taking three months to resolve I feel a complaint would not have been filed in the first place. Sincerely, [redacted]

The Complainant is an insured who reported his vehicle was damaged in an attempted robbery While investigating the damages, the handling adjuster was informed by a representative of the Complainant's shop that the Complainant drives for Uber The Complainant's policy is a private passenger auto policy, which would not provide coverage if the Complainant was driving for Uber at the time of loss In order to rule this out, the adjuster requested Uber logs from the Complainant on May 24, 2017, which he agreed to send to us This documentation was received on June 5, 2017, and coverage was approved Payment has been issued in settlement of the Complainant's claim

The Complainant is a third party claimant pursuing a claim against our Insured's policy Upon first notice of loss by the Complainant, we needed to conduct an investigation to confirm coverage and liability In the interim, arrangements were made to inspect the Complainant's vehicle After completion of our investigation, coverage was approved, and we accepted 100% liability on behalf of our Insured The Complainant's vehicle was deemed a total loss, and after determining the value of her vehicle, she was contacted and presented with an offer The offer was accepted, and payment has been issued in settlement of her claim Therefore, we consider this matter closed

We received first notice of loss from our Insured on November 30, 2015, and a letter was mailed to the Complainant on that date along with an accident report form The Complainant called later the same day and she was informed of the claims process The handling adjuster returned her call on December 4, and after obtaining her statement on the facts of loss, the adjuster explained she would contact her after completing her investigation The adjuster exchanged e-mails with the Complainant on December 9, and her claim was settled on December

Please be advised that the handling adjuster was able to speak with the complainant on May 24, A settlement agreement has been reached and upon our receipt of the properly executed release, payment will be issued

Please be advised that the complainant in this matter is not our consumer but rather a third party claimant pursing a claim for property damages against our insured's policy Upon our notice of this loss, the handling adjuster immediately began an investigation into this matter This loss was reported to Founders Insurance Company by the complainant on October 15, Upon completion of our investigation, the handling adjuster attempted to contact the complainant on October 24, to discuss settlement Unfortunately a message had to be left for a return call On November 1, 2016, the handling adjuster spoke with the complainant and a settlement offer was extended The complainant rejected our offer advising of a difference in estimates We requested that he submit his estimate for our review Our review of the complainant's estimate found that it was not accurate and our previous settlement offer would stand On November 17, 2016, the complainant accepted our offer and payment was processed Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me

Please be advised that upon our receipt and review of the complainant's claim for rental reimbursement, the handling adjuster proceeded with settlement of this matter on January 29, Unfortunately, an error was made in the processing of the payment Founders Insurance Company apologizes for the delay in processing the complainant's claim for rental reimbursement however, this error has been corrected and payment was mailed to the complainant on February 9, in the amount of $ This amount reflects 100% of the complainant's out of pocket rental expenses Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions

Please be advised that the handling adjuster has forwarded the claim to the total loss department. The total loss adjuster will contact the complainant regarding settlement offer was extended. Upon acceptance the adjuster will contact the vehicle lien holder to... obtain the necessary documents. Forms for settlement will be issued and must be returned to include a power of attorney form. Upon our receipt of the lien holder documents and the properly executed power of attorney, payment will be processed. Founders Insurance Company does again extend our apologies to the complainant for any inconvenience during this claim process. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Please be advised that the complainant in this matter is not our consumer but rather a third party claimant pursuing a claim for property damage against our insured's policy Upon our notice of this loss, the handling adjuster immediately began an investigation into this matter Our investigation into the facts surrounding this loss revealed that the complainant's actions were the proximate cause of this loss Accordingly, the handling adjuster contacted the complainant on January 19, and left a detailed message advising that Founders Insurance Company is denying liability for this loss Correspondence was also mailed to the complainant advising of our liability decision Founders Insurance Company does apologize to the complainant for any inconvenience that this claim process may have caused her Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me
