I ordered a domain name through 1&on 6/5/(contract 65610585) As you'll see in notes, when the domain was registered online for $1.17, it did not process despite charging my cardI called customer service that same day, 6/5/17, and the agent said he would try purchasing it again on his end to ensure the domain was purchased for me and not by someone elseHe said it would put another hold on my card for $1.17, but the initial one would drop off once the invoice was processed
I noticed that he put a $hold on my card, as opposed to $1.17, so I called back and spoke with another agent several minutes laterHe notified me that it was a mistake, that he notated the account, and that the invoice would only be for $On June 8th, I received an emailed invoice for $11.17, which was 100% inaccurate and against what all the agents notified me would happen (I was given Case ID ***) I sent an email the same day, but got no response, so I calledThe agent said he'

'Nash' was operator who answered my callEverything happened from his upsettingProbably I asked him to say it again many times over the phone(?) he didn't answer questions just put me on hold for hourI used other phone to reach him since he didn't even explain me what he will do(like on hold hour)I found him and talk to him again then asked him 'why did you put me on hold and wasted my time?' He responded, ' I'm still working on my case finding manager to speak with' it's just ridiculous lieWhy did he answer my call then, if he was still looking for manager who I want to resolve problem with 1amd1.com????

This is how big company looking for cheap customer service provider with cheap salaryI can't believe it happens to me from 1and1.com I've been using and recommended many people to this companyI guess I was wrongNever again with this companyAs a result? This company have contacted me about an alleged debtI have told them on the phone that I do not know them, and never signed up or agreed to any servicesThis is a scam as far as I'm concernedI have asked them in writing for any information they supposedly have, but all they did was pass the debt on to a debt collector I note they tried to get me to log on to their system so that they would then able to say I was a customer They are scammers
They even sent delinquent account letters on the same day, but with different amounts and different reference numbersCustomer ID *** for $and Customer ID *** for $ Now they have sent it to a debt collector who wants $even though I told them it wasn't mine

I received a collection letter from *** *** ***regarding a supposed debt I owe to 1andInternetI have never signed up for anything with 1andInternet nor have I had any dealings with them

I wanted to create a website for my personal/career reasonsI bought the domain from 1andso that I could use it on my siteApparently all because I did not confirm my email within ONE day it completely canceled my verification for my domainSorry, but not everyone checks certain emails within hoursI have spent ALL night trying to get a new verification and after never receiving a new email to confirm my email I am fed up and want to cancel my contractOh, but the contract page doesn't load so it is impossible to even cancel my own contractThis is completely ridiculous that I can not even cancel something I paid for because the company wants to suck money out of customers and then screw them over

Very bad experience with 1and1.com
1, second year charge was very high, cannot even compensate the first year discount
2, the worst is they charge your credit card without your authorization for services you cancelled or you don't wantI had been charged a few times without my authorization after I specifically indicated that I do not authorize any continuous/automatic renew and I want authorize each individual serviceHowever, they just charge your card and collect your moneyVery bad business practice

Domain was expiring March 26, I cancelled March 1, Received an email saying my domain has expired
Received an offer to renew my cancelled domain (I did not renew)
Payment notifications continued despite the cancellationI emailed 1&and received the following email stating the domain had been cancelled and I was to ignore any late billing or payment notifications:

I have now received another payment notification despite 1&stating I can ignore themAnd top it off they sent the account to collectionsHow is it that they can tell me to ignore payment notifications on a cancelled account and then send the same account to collectionsI have sent a followup email to 1®arding thisThis has been going on since March 1, and am bewildered how they can tell me my account is cancelled and their are no payment issues then keep increasing the amount and send to collections

I do not want their service but cannot cancel as the letter they sent to me has a contract number but 1andneeds an invoice number to connect me to the account The emails they sent to me do not have an invoice number I have tried for months (since June) to contact them and resolve this This a.mI spoke to Joe (CS) and he transfered me to Maurice in billing But since I cannot find any email they sent to me with an invoice number , they will not cancel my account I presume they will file with a credit bureau and that I am not paying for something I don't want

The agent involved in this case, Latrice, provided full
disclosure regarding the pricing and actions taken on the accountHe offered
two optionsThe first was monthly billing at $per month, and the second
was a promotional deal paid months upfront for $per month for a total of
$He explained that the current invoice is for a higher rate because it
is a month payment that would save $per month due to the promotion
from accepting year of service upfrontHe also stated there would be a
prorated refund for the invoice that had been billed before this in the amount

the agent to proceedAfterwards, you received a prorated refund in the amount

I attempted to cancel my contract onlineAfter finishing all of the steps they required me to call their cancellation department at anytimeI immediately called, and after being on hold for minutes, I was told that they couldn't help me and to call back another time, then after being on hold for another minutes, they refused to let me speak to a supervisor, confirm my cancellation or anything else

I am rejecting this response because:The customer support representative does not take into the consideration the calls made on July and July 29, and the instructions given by the 1&phone support, therefore the claim from 1&that we did not make any attempts to acquire the domain back is not trueThe domain was not released back for open registration as explained in the e-mail received on April 22nd but was given to an auction company who is asking $for the domain nowThis is not how any company should do business, by using other overseas companies to sell their expired domain names for a premium price, when this domain is far from being a premium domain name
