I noticed a month or so ago that I had some charges on my *** Credit Card of on 11/29/and then on 12/28/I called *** Fraudulent Department to let them know I have never opened an account with this business or ever had any dealings with this business*** removed the charges from my credit card and closed the accountNow I'm getting a late fee notice in the mail stating I owe in feesAgain I have never dealt with this business

I've called this business several times for assistanceAnd, during each call, I'll have to wait on hold 35-minutesWhen I finally get an operator they offer me POOR customer service and I've had enough!
I purchased a domain name to create an E-commerce website with this company because the advertising states, easy set up After paying the fee my package will be active for one year
I called for help four times recently and each person made it even more difficult for meAnd, then I found out that my package only creates websites not e-commerce stores A different operator later told me I can create an e-commerce store only it'll be difficult
A supervisor I spoke to told me I need to purchase several other things to make an e-commerce store possible
They all told me I have days to cancel and get a full refund of $

I have been a customer of 1&Internet for yearsOne year ago I removed my hosting, leaving only my domain registration with 1&My domain expired and I called customer service to renew my domain and the customer service agent (and I use the term customer service very loosely) refused to transfer me to a supervisor or anyone who could help meHer answer to why she was unable to renew my domain was that I "never should have stopped hosting" with 1&She stated that until I paid hosting for the past year, the time during which I have hosted elsewhere, she would be unable to renew my domainI am losing business daily while this remains unresolvedMy entire business revolves around my being able to access my email, which uses my domainIt seems to me that given that I cancelled hosting services they can not legally require me to pay for such services for the past year simply to renew my domainThey have hijacked my domain, I am unable to renew itI can not forward my

I have been a customer with 1&for years I have had several very minor billing issues which they did resolve years ago I had allowed many of my old website to lay dormant as I no longer used them, but liked having them online just for archive purposes I was perfectly fine with them billing me til death as long as it was fair A few years ago, after checking in after a hiatus, I noticed I had been billed for older *** support fees I had never requested these services and was annoyed, but did not call and complainI revisited these websites to make sure they were set to auto-update, even if they broke eventually I attempted to turn off any additional items that would cause random variances in my bill in the future Years later, I have checked back planning only just to cancel one domain name- And notice they started billing me for outdated *** services charging every months They even commented in bold that my website were up to date and that I did NOT n

(BEWARE) Don't hesitate to file a complaint against and to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)Under the for Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts and Practices (UDAAP)
My opportunity to renew the domain promptly due to the confusing and massive flooding of Marketing/Junk/Advertising emails sent to my billing email box; made it extremely challenging to distinguish essential billing emails from junk An influx of marketing email from 1and1, definitely hindered my ability to made payment; due to new card had been issued with an updated expiration date
After all, was said and done the wanted to pay a whole lot more to reinstate the domain and they then ridiculously hiked the price of the domain up so high that I let it go and now the domain is bidding for $ thousands of dollars higher online
Should any of you experience this please file a complaint with the CPFB with the UDAAP in mind
I had already asked them Countless times prior, to stop the advertising/ marketing email from them precisely because I was getting confused and they failed to do just that, and the results ended up with me losing a domain I had for nearly two decadesThey blamed the mishap stating it was my fault anywayI felt the deception of bait and switch for a higher rateSo please, if you experience this please file a complaint through the proper channelsUnderstand the UDAAP laws

I made the mistake of giving this company my information After realizing my mistake I called them same day to make sure that my services with them were cancelled Their customer service failed to help me through levels of support and a minute phone call then hung up on me, but I had the cancellation in writing so I was not worried, but didn't want them to charge me so I promptly cancelled my credit card This is when the harassment started I think I got about emails and letters from them, over a couple months When I finally took the time to remind them (in letter) that they had sent me a cancellation letter the day of their service initiation with me, and attached that to the letter I sent them, they promptly sent my account to collections
This company is terrible and makes in hard to work with them to resolve the issue as they have no email address or phone number for customer support on their website It is too late for me, but be aware that this company is trying to rip you off and will do everything in their power to get money but never admit that they messed up

Credibility and trust damaged!
