Room Reservation and unsafe living area I booked reservation May with Vacation Express at a Cost, $1858,The hotel was advertised as Memories Grand Bahama Beach & Casino Resort, with nights accommodations for adults occupying deluxe room all inclusive with free upgrades and resort credits Boooking number [redacted] The first issue was the room advertised had a king size bed, The room they gave us had two twin beds, there was a problem with the water pressure in the shower, there was mold and mildew in the shower, on the shower head and calcium build up on the water faucetThe closet door fell off the hinge and struck my wifeThe hinges on this door seem to be made for kitchen cabinet and not for an pound doorthis could have been more serious if it had not been for the wall space in the narrow breezeway catching it before it hit the floor The next issue was I did not get to use any resort credits, The spa was full for the week and ther

Food was disgusting I just got back from my vacations and I wanted to let you know that I was disappointed with the hotel and your agent on site. DO NOT USE VACATION EXPRESS I booked my vacation to Cancun, Mexico through this company and I specifically told them that I want to be in the adult section of the hotel with my friendFirst of all this company does not know what they are doingThey booked us in a Sandos hotel in Cancun which is geared towards familyWe are two guys wanting to have a good time in CancunSecondly, they put us in a room in a family section when I specifically told them that we want to be in the ADULT sectionThis would prevent us from going to other restaurants and into adult pools and other amenitiesWe felt like prisoners during our vacation To compromise, we said that we are okay with not transferring rooms to the Select Club (adult section in Sandos Caracol) for as long as we are given access to the Select club facilitiesWe were told by the hotel that since it's not their fault that the booking was messed up that we have to deal with Vacation Express directly and have them negotiate with the hotelWe talked to their local agent in the hotel and she said she was going to reach out to their US counterpartsTo our dismay, nobody tried to arrange with the hotel to even give us access and help us with this request (not a request actually because this is what we were supposed to have!)We were totally not happy with Vacation ExpressWe had to buy our access and paid extra money to give us access to the adult section on our second to the last night when we could have just gotten this right on our first day if only they know how to note our preferencesWe were pretty clear about itThe worst, no apologies, no communication from themWe even had to pay our way and get a taxi cab and go to another Sandos hotel (Sandos Playacar) which has a better beach area There was no way they could have missed our preferences but somebody was negligent with their jobWe had to pay extra for someone elses stupidity in order to enjoy all the amenities of an all-inclusive vacationI strongly suggest to not book through Vacation ExpressTheir service is just substandard, poor and their employees are insensitive and would not go their extra way to make their customers feel better after they committed their snafuI will not be using them anymore and my friend and his family are subsequently not booking through them (they have previously booked their vacations through them)Again, do not use vacation express!

Trying to get refund on trip that I couldn't take due to emergency medical condition. On 4/21/16 I booked a trip with my travel agent (Shure Luv Travel) for an all inclusive to the Riveria Maya in Mexico for $2100. The trip was paid in full by 6/30/16.
