We ordered this customer's records on Thursday, April 9thBecause our turnaround is generally 1-business days, we expected to
have his DD214's ready to ship by the following ThursdayThursday to Thursday is business days
On Monday afternoon, April 13th, after the close of business, the customer emailed us twice asking for an updateOn Tuesday morning I sent him a text message with a status update reminding him that our turnaround was 1-business daysThe customer became very angry that our turnaround time estimate was based on business days, and threatened to make damaging videos about our company and post them on YouTube (we order records from the National Archives which is closed on weekends)In an attempt to make him happy, I called him personally and offered to upgrade him to our Express Service at no costThis would get him an emailed copy as soon as we received his DD214's, and the hard copies delivered via USPS Priority MailHe agreed to accept the upgrade, and I thought everything was okLater that Tuesday, April 14th, we received his DD214's and emailed them to him as promisedLater that same day, we received the complaint from the Revdex.com
In short, we communicated with this customer in a prompt and professional wayWe upgraded him to our Express Service at no cost because he was unhappy, even though we were not responsible for his unhappinessWe provided him his DD214's ahead of schedule, on Day of a 1-day turnaround, and yet the customer still filed the present complaint with the Revdex.comWe have many customers, and it is simply an unfortunate fact of life that some of them will be angry, disgruntled people who refuse to be happy no matter how well we treat them
This is why we have not joined the Revdex.comThe Revdex.com accepts as valid everything they receive, and posts it for public consumptionI believe that if they are going to grade companies on their business reputation, then they should have some responsibility to sort the valid complaints from those completely without meritIn the present case, for example, if we can prove when the customer ordered, and when and how often we communicated with him, and on what day we provided him with the DD214's that he ordered, why shouldn't his complaint be marked as "unfounded" or "invalid" and thrown out as the baseless untruth that it is? If the Revdex.com would act responsibly, and reward the responsible businesses it grades, then we would gladly join them and pay their feeBut because they simply post everything they receive, they do not reward businesses with integrity, and therefore we do not feel compelled to join an organization that acts without regard for the truth, or the facts of the complaints they receive
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/04/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
*** omits the fact that he was unreachable by phone or e-mail during those five days and that he sent me a text that I have a record of, saying that "talking on the phone to his customers wasted his time." I simply wanted to reach a human to know that I had not been scammedI did not really go off the deep end about the days being business days as this was a side issue to my main complaint I discussed with him being that he was unreachable and not respondingHe told me his internet was down and I reminded him that he could have picked up the phone and returned my messagesThe fact that his cell phone listed with the Revdex.com was disconnected and no response to several calls and emails is all that prompted me to file a complaintIt is after I complained that he decided to only refund half my money
Note that he doesn't address why he kept my money and delivered nothing to me? Did you catch that?
Maybe the FTC and My State Attorney General will
Simply put: HE'S MAD THAT I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH YOU and that is the only reason hes keeping my money
My compliant was justified due to no response, and your agency should not allow this sort of revenge addressed to consumers that seek protection
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 13, 2015/05/04) */
I will withdraw this complaint*** refunded half the money and still provided three copies of my ddHe says I did not allow him a fair amount of time before I filedPossible that he is rightmy phone calls started the day after I
paid and for days I could not reach him When I saw the cell disconnected it really made me nervousHis internet being down is a reasonable explanation
While he may be right about my quick reaction, the internet can be an unsafe place to do businessI went by better safe than sorry guideline when I could not contactIt turns out that it was unnecessary since *** has proven to honor his commitments and I therefore want no derogatory comments to me listed against him by me so please withdraw this complaint

The Aarkvark Research Group was entirely helpful and responsive in our interchange They were prompt, responsive, and honest I would not hesitate to use them again!

I ordered a copy of my ddfor a federal program and when my VA informed me I get it free from them , I immediately cancelled my order and have not received a refund or a response from Aardvark Research

I carefully researched free, government provided DD 214's and expedited services for my father Private information required to obtain a DD requires due diligence before communicating with a DD provider as retired, older individuals are prime target for identity criminals All the information provided on Aardvark Research Groups website assisted in making the decision to go with them to retrieve my Dad's service records The website informs a visitor of the free government service as well as how they conduct their research and associated fees I was informed that records from WWII may take longer than days to obtain I was very pleased to have received a digital copy of Dad's DDin business days Outstanding service!

I ordered and paid $to get paper work for my discharge from the army reserve and here I am months later and no paper work or refund after many e-mails

ordered a replacement DD214, never received anything, I needed it quickly which aardvark says they can do, they didn't deliver anything at all

Excellent service!!!!

AArdvark was very responsive and delivered what they promised in less than daysI was very happy with the service

I am extremely excited this worked!!!!!!!!!!!! I was worried about the reviews I readBut I was patientI made my order Feb I lost one day because of Presidents dayI have an email copy of my DDdays laterNot only thatI sent email with my transaction number requesting an update and I received a response back from Susan not even an hour laterI actually had a few emails back and forth with her
I needed this for school and now I can rest easy!!!
I have not received the hard copy yet but since they have emailed me what is going to be sent I just had to write this review

A very positive review Aardvark kept their promise and provided exemplary service to me in requesting a replacement DDfor my original that was lost in relocating Highly recommended to anyone in need of these services Response time was about days

I was charged $for a service that provided no resultI was told by Susan that the possibility that my DD was never processed or established was probably the caseI, do, in fact, have a damaged copyThe document was needed for a agent orange claimThey obviously did little or no research

+1

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
