It is unfortunate that GWC warranty does not prioritize their customer service experience.  That was proven by the company not accepting ownership of the fact that the location they referred/required me to go to take my car for repairs covered under their warranty was unable and unwilling to complete the repairs (on a few occasions).  I understand that customer service is not a priority for GWC and they do not believe they should be held accountable for the terrible experience in working with their company and trying to resolve vehicle issues covered by their warranty that I purchased from them.

I have reviewed the customer’s statement of the problem and the claim details associated. The customer did have their vehicle at one of our recommended service facilities in November...

of 2015. The facility was not able to verify any transmission concerns at that time. If the customer is experiencing further issues, GWC would recommend to bring the vehicle to a licensed repair facility to have a claim started.

Horrible set of people... Do Not bother... Scam!
I paid $1600 for coverage...but when my car had a problem... Magically I was not covered... The reason being "the car has developed a fault" dugghhh that's why I bought warranty so when it develops a fault I will be covered...well apparently you are covered as long as your car does not breakdown.

the claim details associated. GWC warranty has approved an engine replacement
claim for the vehicle in question totaling $2642.29. The claim was approved in
accordance with the terms of the vehicle service contract regarding parts,
labor, and diagnostic coverage. GWC did approve one hour of diagnosis towards
the claim. Any additional charges for extended diagnosis or system flushes
would be the customer’s responsibility.

I am rejecting this response because:
As you can clearly see this warranty company will use any excuse they can to not pay, they put words in were ever they want to get out of paying what they should pay, I would like for them and for you to tell me where it states this car was driven for fifteen minutes.  on the day this happened I did not go to work and did not drive the car on this day I had to call and get it towed missing a full days work.  this company has no Morality, Ethics, Honesty or Integrity, and if they can't show proof of where we stated this car was driven for fifteen minutes on that day then they should pay for the total amount of the repairs that we had to pay as I can show proof that I had to miss work this day due to the car having to be towed. I am asking that you the Revdex.com please step in to help resolve this matter as I should not have to be out the money for these repairs when the warranty company should have paid them as I followed their contract and had the car towed and did not drive it.

the contract details associated. GWC Warranty has approved a repair claim for
the items listed for coverage with this service contract. The customer did have
two failures that are excluded from coverage. The exclusions that address the
customer’s concerns are listed as follows;
EXCLUSIONS FROM COVERAGE:
near object avoidance systems
emission components
The rear view camera and evaporative emission purge valve
would be excluded for coverage based on the above terms.

concern.
With regard to the subject vehicle, GWC authorized and paid
for a covered claim related to a catastrophic engine failure in November of
2014.  Immediately after that, there was
an issue with a component that was installed incorrectly and caused a check engine
light to appear. The issue was identified and repaired and the vehicle was
returned to the claimant.
Presently, there is a second and separate issue related to a
buildup of debris in the valve section of the engine. There is no failure to
the engine as this is a maintenance issue. The repair center and GWC are
communicating to find a way to clean out the debris without having to
disassemble the engine.
The expense related to this issue is not covered by the
service contract. It is not a covered event because a mechanical failure to a
covered component has not occurred. 
However, GWC is willing to advance some amount of good-will to help
offset this non-covered expense. Once we have a final solution or repair option
from the repair facility, we can make a determination as to what amount of
good-will to advance.

I have reviewed the customers concerns and the claim details
associated. GWC warranty did approve the starter repair claim in accordance
with the terms of the vehicle service contract. The contract addresses parts
and labor coverage specifically as follows;
4. PARTS: Replacement of Covered
Components may
be made with parts of like, kind, or quality and may be new, remanufactured,
rebuilt, exchanged, or serviceable used components as are customarily used in
the automobile industry and approved by the Administrator.
 
5. LABOR: Labor charges shall be based on
the current AllData Labor Guide and hourly rates shall be within
accepted industry standards.
 
In regards to cancellation and refund, the contract
addresses that specifically as follows;
 
13. CANCELLATION(S) AND REFUND(S):

Only in the event that the Vehicle
is
declared a total loss by the insurance company insuring the Vehicle, or the Vehicle is validly
repossessed by the Contract
Holder’s lender, will We and the Selling Dealer refund a pro rata portion of the Contract purchase price. We
shall
issue a pro rata refund of the amount received by Us from the Selling
Dealer based on the lesser of the remaining time or mileage on this Contract, deducting any claims paid or approved for payment by Us and a fifty dollar ($50.00) service charge. All cancellations must
be processed through the Selling
Dealer or Your Lien
Holder.
The customer is urged to contact the selling dealer or lien
holder if the above conditions for cancellation are met.

I am rejecting this response because: the car was just taking if for a oil change  which when at the garage all the fluids were checked and we were told that the fluids were good . I also feel that we should have the car checked out by a differant garage. i'm not the first person who they denied the coverage and to pay for  the repairs . If I need  I will get an attorney and I will find as many people as I can to get a class action suit against GWC because they are a fraud

I am rejecting this response because: I have attached the paperwork that the shop gave to me in regards to the misfires showing specifically cylinder 3, 5, 7, 6, 8, and 4. Realistically you are suppose to change all ignition coils when doing this but its clearly showing which coils are bad and you guys arent even honoring the 6 that arent functioning right. You brought up that you guys have approved $2183 dollars which has no reason to be brought up. You are a warranty company and you are suppose to cover what is stated in your brochure so whether it is 100 or 10000 the amount of approval you have given has nothing to do with what we are discussing now. You bring up the money factor because now you guys are losing money verses gaining. I would like my 6 coils covered and I would like my rental which I just returned it back and I received a bill for 800 due to my car being in the shop for two weeks because of the time you guys took to send parts, inspectors and time of approval. Clearly my car was worked on for over 8 hours so please approve my rental for 5 days like you guys stated you would.

Bought a warranty cancelled it never used it and company wont send me my prorated portion. The dealer wont respond either. S[redacted] m[redacted]. Ps very dissatisfied and will vever buy or recommend gwc . This company should make good on refund and get back from car dealership who is selling these bogus policies

I purchased a car and warranty in May 2015 from a local dealer. It came with the GWC Warranty 90 day, 3000 mile. About 2 weeks after purchase I began having some issues that are stated in my warranty contract that were covered by GWC. Every claim I have tried to make, GWC Warranty Corporation finds some excuse not to fix it, or they will only cover so minimal amounts its pointless to even file the claim.
The warranty was for power trail, electrical components etc... I have sunk over $2500 into this vehicle which GWC should have taken care of... Not only do they refuse work from mechanics locally around me, you MUST take your vehicle to their "preferred mechanics" to even begin to file a claim.
Here are some examples: Power door lock on drivers door stopped working. In my contract in shows its 100% covered. Take it to be repaired, they deny the claim because they say "the door lock is fine, but we won't fix it because of a rivet broke" "Can't help the mechanism is broke off your door" "It's a hardware issue"
Bad ball joints... "Sorry we can't fix them because even though they show wear, they are not physically broken and the wheel falling off the car"
Electric gas door does not pop open .... "Sorry we won't cover that!" Can you still put fuel in your car?",,, if you can open it manually, then it still functions as it should...
The list goes on and on... So basically the GWC warranty is useless and a scam!! Trying to deal with the representatives on the phone is a joke... EXTREMELY RUDE!
